Title: Today was a good day Post by: Ultra on January 27, 2011, 03:22:28 AM Nothing really remarkable happened, I just feel it was a good day. Maybe those are the good days, when nothing really happens, everything just kinda rolls along. We certainly live in interesting times, but today... I just enjoyed the uneventfulness of it all. Yeah, it was a good day. How was your day?
Title: Re: Today was a good day Post by: ThreadJack on January 27, 2011, 03:59:50 AM I agree. You know what they say, "No news is good news." My day was good over all. We got snow which usually I wouldn't be too happy about, but today something happened that outweighed that by a million.
See I was laid off last December, three days before Christmas to be exact. Gotta love the timing right? So I've been unemployed for the past year and it's been fun, but I would kill to have a job again. Haven't had any luck though, not even a single interview! So this morning, I went online and filled out an application with a local employment agency, a temp agency but still. I got a call this afternoon and have an interview with them set up for Monday! I know it may not sound like much but this is the most progress I've made in my job hunt since the lay off!
