Nice job! I think, It's hard to tell in a pitch black video. I like videos in lower light, like dusk, or indoor lighting. Though I know videoing spins that fast indoors is dangerous for any and all things inside lol.

Some good points I could tell

The spins were fast! Really fast... good job on keeping the sabers close to you, and staying in control of the blades.

blades seemed to go where you wanted them to, and stopped where you wanted them to. So I can tell you have a great degree of control.

You've got some stamina mate.... ten minutes of spinning sabers? I can do it, but I don't know a camera person who will sit there and film it lol. (I realize your camera was sitting on the ground)

Some constructive criticism.... (This is based on what I could see in the video.... which isn't much.)

That was ten minutes of you swinging sabers, fantastic job, but unless you're showing tutorials or in a cool dueling match or reel or fanfilm type staged combat demonstration.... Ten minutes is a lot to watch some glowing blades flash across the screen. I enjoyed it, but most people are not going to watch that whole video.

Your moves while controlled are almost too controlled, I could be wrong because it is dark, but it seems to me that you are over tensing for your swings and flourishes. Why is this bad? because in a dueling match you are telegraphing every single move you are going to do before you do it. (That being said I understand this may have been an intentional add in for this video, as you seem to know what you are doing)

Thanks, the point of the video was just to look Trance-like, flow with the music, like the blades were dancing etc. 
Next video I will do at dusk so you can see form/technique.

I don't duel, as no one I know will allow me to duel them.  Although I make my girlfriend stand still while I fling the sabers around her, she says it's a scary, but very cool experience.

Awesome! Knowing what you're going for makes the video make sense... I also watched this in silence (My wife and newborn were sleeping) So I missed the music.

When you start dueling... you'll realize that you change up a lot of things.

Watched it all with music.. really liked the rhytmn flashing you created. And great control!

Noticed you where in a very very dark area... with lots of empty space. This must have been notacable from miles around :)


The vid is a bit long. But you cover three songs. Maybe split it in three?

ps. I so need to practice more :P In my case I have dunes, beach and sea close by. Better start in the dunes or I have a whole audience...

I don't love harry potter, or lord of the rings, or any of the other movies my girlfriend loves, but I do really like them. :)

Or convert her. Also amazing video, and I LOVE the music. ( I know this is a little old, but I can't stop watching the video so I thought I'd comment.)
