I saw this when you posted it on FB, I loved it then, and still do!  Sometimes, I wonder if I'm just being silly starting to ride at my age, this put it in context!

I coulda got my Sportster out the last couple of days, it was plenty warm enough.  Unfortunately, my driveway is not paved, it is quite the mudpit at the moment  :( :'(

I like to stick to dirt but I understand the freedom. ;D

Kham I am the same way.  Short version: Grew up riding dirt bikes in the NW, Tillamook Burn, Jones Creek, etc.  Started riding the street in high-school through college. . .then came the WIFEY.  We made a deal before getting married, perhaps commitment is a better term.  I would stick to the dirt for the sake of growing a family together.  But the FREEDOM. . .is AWESOME.  No seat belt, power/weight ratio.  SO MUCH FUN.  And now I find enjoyment hearing about others riding/pictures and such.

The movie clip was beautiful.  My dad tells me often, that when he is on his last leg, losing his balance and about to die. . .to fill up his gas tank on his hog and strap him to it and say goodbye. . .brings tears to my eyes.

I come from a family of bikers, and when I move off this island I want to finish getting my license. (I know how to ride, I just never took the next step and got my license.) Anyway, this makes me want to stick to this community like glue... More Star Wars knowledge than I will ever need, and people who love motorcycles.  :-*

lol I have my lightsaber hooked on my belt all the time... so it's really cool when I'm riding down the road on my bike, with my lightsaber hanging down beside me.

I think a lot of Star Wars fans are bikers, martial artists, athletes, actors, artists.... Everything, because of how Star Wars is a blend of everything, it almost draws all types to it's awesomeness

I watched all 10 episodes of his motorcycle journey, "Long Way Round", but he wasn't in character  :D  That Obi Wan pic is epic, thanks for posting that!  I'm going to have to post some pics of my sport bike, too.

I have a metric ton of music from The Old Republic on my iphone... so that's my riding jams.

My first bike was a 1982 Goldwing.  I bought it when I was 16 and rode it to highschool.  No car for me.  Anyway, my Goldwing had a cassette deck and, sure enough, I had a tape of the Imperial March that I loved to ride to.

i've wanted a bike for a while, but my mom won't let me get one... neither will my girlfriend...  :(

once i get a real job i want to get one custom made to look like the speeder bikes from Jedi  ;D

My wife and i are saving up to get a Harley Night Rod Special.

They look like Lightcycles; we must have it.

Thats worthy of respect my friends. I have been riding for 3 years now. I cannot imagine giving up my bike. Nothing I have ever done compares.

Last summer at the young age of 59, my dad full-filled a 30+ year old dream. He bought a 1966 Suzuki X6 Hustler, just like the one he had in high school. He spent all summer restoring it and it looks great. He even found a mint condition unissued 1966 Florida motorcycle tag for it. He had the tag authenticated and issued for the bike. I won't ride it because I could never forgive myself if something happened to it.

I want to get myself a Harley, but alas I have one HUGE problem...... I have no frieken money.

Do you have a pulse?  Harley will finance anyone these days  :D

 & I thought while I'm at it , here is a pic of a bike that was in my family for over 30 yrs, it was put in the barn by my neigbor buddy & I in 82'  It (it seemed huge as a 10 yr old!) stayed with the chickens & leaky metal roof , becoming a great home for many spiders....after years of bugging Pa, he finally came off of it once he felt confident I had the skills to take it on.

 Look up Royal Enfield, it's the oldest still produced motorcycle company int the world (they used to build these in caves under England in the same foundries that they crafted cannon & Enfield rifles)

 Thanks it took alot of time (spent a good 40 hours hand polishing the the engine parts) the hardest part was gaining an understanding of Lucas electronics (AKA Satans electrical systems) the Brits used to wire everything 12 volt positive ground ,... just the opposite of the states, it means that the positive side of the battery hooks directly to the frame & components draw power from the frame & return the electricity back through the negative wires, it supposedly cut down on corrosion (most cars were done the same way).

Seriously though, the wife and I are looking into (in the next couple of years, or right after I get the settlement from my knee injury) getting a Can-Am Spyder.  She doesn't like 2 wheeled bike, I'm not a huge fan of regular trikes, and we've done a few test drives and absolutely fell in love with them.
