Hi!
   I have a hilt without any electronics that I'm thinking about trying to resurrect. I've been browsing the forums, and I really like the special color called Bane's Heart. I'm wondering, since you have to order it special in the sabers, if I could do the same with an LED module? And I understand I need to add a note about it on the order, but it there a particular color you're supposed to pick from the menu so you can put in the basket and get to checkout?

I believe you can. Just select a premium color, Violet Amethyst, Sun Rider's Destiny. or Arctic Blue, and say in the order comments you want Bane's Heart as the LED color. You my have to add 5 dollars worth of requisition charges too but I am not sure.

You have to select one of the premium colors, arctic blue, sunriders destiny, or violet amethyst. Then you have to purchase 5 dollars of requisition charges, which can be found here: http://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/requisitioncharge.htm (http://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/requisitioncharge.htm) then in the order comments box during checkout specify what color you would like. I have never had to add $5.00 in the requisition charges for a forum only color before, I've only had to select a premium color and specify in the order comments. Is this something new?

While I haven't bought a forum only color, yet anyway, that was pulled straight from the thread on how to order them. I'm sure there's Someone who's bought one recently that could enlighten us on the matter. If I'm mistaken, then I apologize for the misinformation.   I suppose that could be for a whole saber, not just the module itself.

Now I'm really curious because the last saber I bought was a dark libby V3 with a SY led and I didn't have to pay the requisition charge then either, granted that was back around the end of march. I really want to know if it has been changed or not. Will someone that knows for sure please tell us.

I bought a SY LED a little while ago and was told by Emory to add the $5 requisition charges so that they know for sure that it's supposed to be a forum color. Still write in the comments box, but since the $5 would be charged to you anyway, this saves them a step and also re-confirms that you're purchasing a forum color.

See, it's $5 for a special colour (VA, SRD, AB) and an extra $5 for the forum color. Hope that helps!!

I definately suggest getting the Bane's Heart module, it is a great color and is very variable when you put filters in it, you can make it red, red-orange, purple, blue, etc.

So just to make sure I understand this correctly the steps are; order a premium led ab, va etc, then buy $5.00 in requisition charges, then add in order comments what color I would want.

Exac-a-ma-ly! At least, that's what Emory told me back when I ordered my SY LED.

My new Overlord broke the budget for now, but I couldn't decide if it'd be worth it to get an US module rather than hit up Home Depot. But I am convinced. For a basic blue, or green, I'd try it myself, but I think the Bane's Heart color is worth the extra bucks. I can always compromise a bit on other parts (ie, a basic switch for now rather than AV). Thanks for the picture Vex. My sister in law has an AB, so having the two in the same picture really convinced me that this in the color I want to try for.

One more question! We'll see if I can get away with not making a new thread. I'd be planning on getting a MLS unit with FOC, but when I read the description, it said that was for specific sabers, and the hilt I'm working with (Dark Liberator V3) wasn't listed. I'm not planning on swapping the module out at all. So my question is: as long as I'm not trying to do quick disconnect, would that unit still work for my saber, and if not, can I special order FOC for the standard LED module?
