k so here is project i been working on in spare time it is a dominix V2 and initiate put together for a staff combo. I stripped them down and painted it, made cyrstal chamber with a led candle pcb for blinking , cut down war glaive claw to make more of a hook, anyhoo here is the vid

u can do this techniue with any color i just happened to use red, also if u dont have an airbrush it can be done with krylon x-metals spraypaint it comes in red,green,blue and purple, just remember if using spraypaint u have to be fast cause it dries faster. In fact when using spray paint i actually spray it on the cling wrap then apply right away u might wanna try this on practice peice till u get the feel for it also their are tutorials on youtube search wrinkle effect for painting
