School is starting, leaves are falling, the sun is going down a little bit earlier, and Ultrasabers are shining just a bit brighter.  We are bringing in the Fall with another raffle.  So soon after our last one?  Well, we got a lot of emails asking about our next Facebook raffle and we know you guys were disappointed there wasn't one before.  Well we listened and here it is NOW!  Here is our FOURTH raffle for the year!  One for Ultrasabers.com purchases and one for Facebook videos.  Enjoy!

1. To enter this raffle you need to make a purchase of $250 or more between September 18th, 2012 and October 3rd, 2012.

Do we need to spend 250 before shipping or is it 250 with shipping included?

I want to say that it is 250 before shipping. But I could be wrong.

So there is a Facebook raffle. I think I will participate this time. Do you have to show off your super awesome saber skills or just having fun and such? Like explaining why you love Ultra Sabers. Then showing off some skills. I might do that later. Hope the blade color shows up though because I might go out and do a video now. I won a Phantasm V2 in CG last time and I can tell you it is GREAT to be blessed with a free saber, and loads of fun to play with my first double blade!

So yeah, I'll have to see about entering that video raffle. *shrug* Others have gotten lucky twice in a row.... it could happen. ;)

It was AWESOME to receive a free saber via a raffle, even though I had an issue with something on it (LONG story), so I just might have to get in on this one too.  I've had my eye on a Guardian for quite a while.  My college refund check is coming within a week or so (my college owes ME money  :D) and if I get it in time, I just might be able to get in on this.

I just did a video for Facebook raffle and hopefully it qualifies. I've never won anything before. :P Or even had a good enough looking saber to enter in a Facebook raffle. I used my Bellicose. You can almost see the blade color. I think they used an RGB of some type thats super bright even during the day light. Like if anyone remembers I tried doing pics and video during the day but the blades never showed up now on my Bellicose it does.

Entered on Facebook and done. Keeping fingers crossed. :D

Another raffle... awesome guys!  What I love about the Facebook raffles is even if you don't win, you still get to see all the awesome pics and video of people with their sabers.  Very cool.

lol Thanks? If you want to get them through on the plane, from what I understand, all you have to do is pull the blades out (probably remove the batteries too but I'm not sure), and they can go in your baggage just like a flashlight or whatever. Pretty sure you can't get them into Carry On though, but I could be wrong. I know one member on here awhile back got his on. Even took a pic of it sitting in the airplane window to prove it. XD

But what about the blades? I know I would have to take the batts out because if an accidental power on were to happy then bye bye. :P Be like that episode of the Simpsons when they wen't to Japan and Bart kept turning on his GameBoy on purpose just to stall their plane. :P I'd totally do that if it were possible. Lol.

I think the blades just go in your normal checked baggage, but again I'm not 100% sure. If you have or can get an initiate blade or two by then, I'd recommend taking that instead. It will fit in most suitcases and you won't have to worry about a special bag.

If it were me I'd just take my fencing case and pack my clothes in there... but then again not everyone has a fencing case ;)

I'll see what I can do. If I can pull it off I'll try to get some sick California shots especially posing by the Vegas sign since we will be driving through anyway. :D "Saber play carefully! Come back soon!". That's how the sign should be. :P

Tis a pity you can't haunt Star Trek the Experience since they closed it. I'd have loved to see a Klingon pose with an Ultrasaber. lol

Lol. I'd totally go.My brother more though. Though we don't have costumes yet. I found that site though that allows you to build a costume kinda like the MHS builder. If I get enough bday money I may go for one. I just want the tunic and pants really. I can get my own shirt and boots. Plus I was planning on doing a Luke ROTJ style belt how his was just cool looking cloth, nothing fancy, bulky, or had lots of metal. Too bad that's out now though. My brother would've loved to go. Hes the Trekkie in the family. :P Were both Star Wars nerds but hes more of a Trekkie. Oh well.

Trust me, that place is way overpriced. You can do it yourself for a fraction, heck, you can have someone else do it for less too. Those guys are as bad as the ebay tailors.

This is awesome! Just before I got the email about the raffle I was just thinking how sweet it would be if they had nickel plating on the Prophecy. If that becomes a regular option on Prophecy models you can put me down for one right now.

Have to admit I read that raffle entry and INSTANTLY thought about throwing the old V2 on ebay and upgrading, but then that was my FIRST Ultrasaber, so I don't think I want to part with it presently, even though I'd LOVE to have obsidian in it....

You shouldn't have a major issue getting the saber on the plane. They may want to take a look at it, but it shouldn't cause an issue.

I know after I got my IPC trainer certification I had a ton of components, and circuitboards on my carryon that I thought they may have an issue with, they just glanced in the bag and passed me on.

Does anyone know if you can still qualify for the raffle after using reward points to lower the cost of a saber? For example; if your final price was $250, but then your reward points brought the total cost down to $200, would your entry still be eligible to win?

Somehow I dont think that works. Plus pay full price this time and use the rewards points on another saber and pay almost nothing lol.

Yeah I spend my reward points on the cheaper purchases, since you don't earn any if you use them on a big one.  I'd rather take the 250 points and put them toward a grab bag or something later on.

I think the videos are going to be fun. I have three friends that are drooling over my sabers but don't have the finances to really get them, so I'm going to let them use mine in their individual videos.

Well, US dangling another raffle in front of my face Forced another saber purchase  =) .  This time I took advantage of the deal of the day, Dark Arbiter w Obsidian, Blazing Red, FOC Silver, and a covertec wheel installed.  Went with a heavy grade ultra edge blade this time (never tried one).  This will be the dark side saber to counter my Guardian I purchased for the last raffle.  I really want to purchase a Monarch but they keep offering it as one of the prizes.  I didn't win last time so fingers crossed this time, I don't even care about grand prize if I take home a Monarch I'll be going nuts.  OK now time to make videos!  Good Luck everyone.

I've been story boarding my video since I read about this! I'm desperate to win, all I have are the old plastic ultrasabers. I need a new one, and it would make my day to finally have one with sound!!!

After the deadline passes (their time zone), you will receive a Facebook Message from Emory Harris stating that you won.  Be sure to the check the "Other Messages" of your Facebook account as some messages have been sent there by mistake and you will miss your instructions on how to get your saber. 

Yup, just gotta wait.  Ultrasabers staff doesn't have time to tell us if videos qualify - they're too busy making awesome products and coming up with more raffle prizes for all of us.

This, as long as you did type in your name, and did see the -.01 deduction you are good unless you somehow hit a freak chance that you found some hidden coupon code that is still active in their system that does it for the exact same price, but that is highly unlikely.

Slight concern from a total saber newbie - I didn't realise until after I'd ordered that I'd need to put my saberforum username in the comments. I've emailed the guys with my order number and my username to see if they can sort anything out. I've not had to use their customer service before, this being my first order; are they likely to be able to sort this out? Or will I have to pay the price for my mistake, and miss out this time?

Yup! Just got it! Black Liberator v3 in Guardian Blue. It's extremely sturdy and easy to wield. I already have a Liberator, so I was hoping for an Aeon or Dominix or Standard Issue, but I am happy with what I got!

With my raffle entry, I had enough points to get a free grab bag. I got it completely random and timed it so it'll get here on the 4th. This way I can get excited over the real free saber coming that day instead of going crazy wondering if I won something!  :)

If you are talking about reward points, for every 10 points, you get a dollar off the price.

They changed it recently, it's now 20 points per dollar off.

Yeah, I have 395 points. If I cash them in, I will have $19.75 in "cash".

I'll be doing my review in the next couple of days, which will net me an additional 300 points. That will take me to 695 and bump me up to $34.75.

If I review each saber separately do I get 300 for each?

IT guys here at work are working on the systems.  Can't see pics or vids at the moment. 

I think it is a one time thing.  You can do any number of reviews but only get rewarded 300 points once.

Well, this sucks... I can't participate in either raffle. I'm broke for awhile now and my last ultrasaber was stolen. Too bad I can't just work for you guys...

Yeah kinda funny, I thought I was sitting at the $100 mark, so i was debating to myself this morning about whether I should blow it on a stunt saber, or put it towards a bigger purchase.... I even thought about opening a topic for discussion on the forums.  About 10 min later I came across this post, my day has been shattered.  Now I can't even afford a grab bag +  a blade.

Anyone know around what time they normally draw the raffles?

By the time it's midnight over there, it'll be 4am here, so staying up isn't really an option for me. I'll just have to find a way to fall asleep and check the results tomorrow :P

Samer here, well kinda. Its 1am when I get home from work there (3am here) but I don't expect them to do the drawings at midnight.

They wont, usually happens later in the day, mid morning if we're lucky ;)

So I have noticed a bunch of vids that aren't from youtube.. isn't that one of the qualifications for the raffle?

That was my understanding and the video also had to be posted to YouTube after 9/17/12.  I had some better ones (in my opinion) that I posted prior to that date but I wanted to stay within the rules.
