Title: Darth Vrenen's Sith Dressings Post by: Darth Vrenen on October 04, 2012, 07:47:04 PM With lightsaber on:

Woo!) It is made from a hooded Halloween cape, a long sleeve black shirt, black dress pants and military combat boots. And of course an Ultrasabers Aeon V3 LE lightsaber in DVA with Obsidian sound. The wow factor in this costume was not just the saber (which blew other peoples Star Wars costumes out of the water) but it was the Obsidian sound. People freaked over the sound! It was soooo awesome! And the rest of the costume was pretty good too. I told people I was Darth Revan with no mask (because of the purple color lightsaber, I got a lot of "It's supposed to be red" BS) But seriously, it was probably the best day of this school year! Hopefully I was able to spread the word of Ultrasabers to more people! And thank you Ultrasabers for making such a drop dead awesome product! Keep it up we all (or I can at least speak for myself) love you guys and what you do for the saber and Star Wars community!!!!!! Title: Re: Darth Vrenen's Sith Dressings Post by: Sky Dragon c5 on October 05, 2012, 01:15:03 AM Just curious how to you like the choke points on the saber? I am debating one but I am not sure if I could fit my hand on both choke points at once.
Title: Re: Darth Vrenen's Sith Dressings Post by: Darth Vrenen on October 05, 2012, 01:21:02 AM The choke points on the Aeon (and id guess the dominix ;) ) are awesome! When I am gripping the saber with both hands at the choke points the mower thumb touches the upper hand, and i would say I have small hands, but they're not huge either.
I'll try to get a picture of a good two hand grip tomorrow, I would tonight but everyone went out early haha Title: Re: Darth Vrenen's Sith Dressings Post by: Sky Dragon c5 on October 05, 2012, 01:36:43 AM Thanks. I still need to order my cloak for my costume for the Con up here

Left hand on top (http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/jj500/Vrenen/AeonV3twohandgriplefthandontop.jpg) Right hand on top (http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/jj500/Vrenen/AeonV3twohandgriprighthandontop.jpg) Hope this helps :) It is a very nice saber Title: Re: Darth Vrenen's Sith Dressings Post by: Sky Dragon c5 on October 06, 2012, 04:42:04 AM The Covertech is in a really great location too!
Thanks for the pics. Seems better than my Liberator. I may get a Black dominix with some pike extensions next time. Title: Re: Darth Vrenen's Sith Dressings Post by: Darth Vrenen on October 06, 2012, 12:48:14 PM Yes, the covertec is literally right above the last thread for the pommel and it works so perfectly there! The grips are very comfortable, no matter how you may grip it. I've never used a Liberator, but I've been hearing some, no bad, but disappointing comments on them as of late. I'll also let everyone know how the fit is with QD, I'm hoping I'll have enough wire to be able to take it right out of the top. If you have any other questions, I'm always here to help :)
