Title: Metal curved hilt lightsaber custom build.
Post by: JdiKnhtJMH on October 15, 2012, 06:52:26 AM
As some of you may know, I created my own Asajj Ventress customized ultrasaber out of an old US Dark Apprentice. I had one other that I decided to go lightside on, and so I had a blue LED in there.... Until now. I've finally made my first fully home made custom lightsaber. I used some plumbing parts to create a PVC-metal fusion saber that has a great curve to it. With the chrome finish on the outer shroud this is one sharp looking saber, and I've put a lot of work into decoration without messing up the form of the saber. I also added a heavy steel piece of pipping in the rear to make it balanced. All in all, I'm thrilled with this weapon. I ended up using a Li-Ion battery pack to power it since I had to take them out of my Consular when I added sound to it.

Enough talk, picture time is now!

But whatever shall I do with my now empty Dark Apprentice hilt.... Hmmm... I wonder....
