I would love to have a sound file of a battle droid saying their typical, "roger, roger", line to use as my boot sound when I put the batteries into Obsidian. Anybody have one of those, or direct me to a place to find one? Can be from the movies or the Clone Wars animated series, as long as it's clear. Title: Re: "Roger, Roger!" Post by: hazard502 on October 21, 2014, 06:34:13 AM I could probably make a couple of these. I've already made 7 Ashoka Tano boot fonts and 8 Darth Maul boot fonts from the Clone Wars series. Crystal clear and pretty damn awesome too :) I've noticed the Movie versions are nice clear straight up robotic sound vs. Clone Wars battle droids which have a personality with quirks. I'll let you know if I start on it, maybe on the w/e.

That sounds cool! Yeah, I was thinking that the first time that you hear, "roger roger" in Ep. I, the scene from the palace on Naboo, I believe, would be cool. As you said, it sounds more robotic and serious verses the quirky, silly battle droid sounds from the CW series.
I would love to hear your Ahsoka boot sounds as well. My daughter is a huge Ahsoka fan (got her Ahsoka Halloween costume ready to go this year) and she would get a kick out of me using one of those in my Prophecy. I'll just have to figure out how to make them accessible from the forum, no idea how so it may take a little while but I'll get er done.
I agree that the movie droids are crisper and would sound best with the more serious tone. It's harder to find quality audio from the movies to edit and convert to an lsu file for obsidian so it may take a bit longer. But I'll try :) Title: Re: "Roger, Roger!"
