While I am not attracted to women, I want to spotlight someone that I think is very underappreciated for her beauty:

Carrie Fisher.

No botox crap.  No surgery.  No Hollywood BS.  This is what mature feminine beauty should look like, and it should be appreciated.  I cannot tell you how angry it made me reading all the garbage elitist Hollywood idiots spewed.  Even the article I found this wonderful pic with, was one dealing with such unwarranted and mean-spirited criticism.  While small people worship at the altar of plastic surgery and fear of graceful age, I think more and more real people are coming to realize how beautiful and confident of a look this is:

BTW I tend to prefer no facial hair, but each of these men is so attractive that they overcome that in grand fashion.

If I had to sum up what I go for purely on looks, I would say there are two main types...pale with dark hair (dark eyes preferable, like the contrast...think Kylo Ren), or tan to medium skin tone, dark hair, and eye color is more negotiable in that case. ;) Build...I prefer tall, slender, and a lean, fit build (as in, without bulging with muscles).

When it comes to SWTOR, I'm most familiar with the Sith Inquisitor companions.  Of those, my personal preference on looks is Andronikos Revel:

I don't like Revel as much in personality though...in THAT respect, he's not my type.  I wish I could instead combine Andronikos' handsome looks with Talos Drellik's awkward, adorable, yet strangely courageous personality.  (He, as a non-Force-user, walked up to a trap shooting Sith lightning with nothing but some tool he'd created to absorb it...the instant I saw that, I was officially impressed and felt like the guy isn't given enough cerdit.)

Unfortunately, for me anyway, there are a couple not-so-subtle dialogue hints that Talos is interested in men rather than women, so no luck there.  Oh well.

I listened to her podcast, back when she still had it. She's pretty real, actually. She once sat down and talked about what she's had done, just so people would stop emailing her about being fake.

While I have no names to give for the following pictures, I will say that I just LOVE pinup photography. It was simultaneously glamorous, sexy, and somehow demure, all things considered.

It's just classy.

I am so glad that it's made a comeback.

Having said that, I will add that what I personally don't like is the modern pinup photography featuring tattooed models. I have nothing against tattoos, mind you, but in my opinion, having the tattoos juxtaposed against a 1940's or 1950's theme just destroys any sense of nostalgia the photo shoot may bring.

There seems to be more diversity on the male side of this thread.  But that may also be because there are fewer of us posting men and therefore it could just have something to do with the tastes of that small population.

What one person finds attractive, another may not. For instance, I have said twice already that I like dark hair, light eyes, and pale skin. Some people don't like that, and that's fine. It's their tastes that matter. This thread is about posting pictures of what each person finds attractive, not a thread where everyone posts what one person finds attractive.

Speaking for myself, it isn't a matter of someone "questioning" my sexuality...As a straight man I do not see ANY man as physically attractive in the sense what we are posting about here.  

The thing is that, in that instance, you insulted the girl, even if it wasn't completely intentional. There's a fine line between saying "she's quite lovely when she smiles" and "sometimes she's got a butterface."

I will use the Aly Michalka pics from earlier as an example. An image was posted of her with her original blonde hair. I replied with one of her as a brunette, stating that I like her recent brunette transformation. What I didn't do was say "She looks bad as a blonde."

It's not a matter of what you say, man. It's a matter of how you say it.


No, what got called out was your heavy implication that we should cater to your preferences even if they don't coincide with our own. If you have some ladies of color that you find attractive, then post them. Don't wait for us to do it for you. Hell, you may wind up posting one that we didn't think of and we find a new favorite.

The point is to share your ideas of beauty. We don't know your idea of beauty, so share it.

I would say it matters, but my views as a naturalist make me biased. I'm not saying color out of a bottle can't look good. In my experience, 1/100000 might actually look better in an altered state.

personal opinion

I guess it has more to do IME with if things like skin tone and eye color compliment the new hair color. I've seen some women that look stunning with a burgundy red color. And I know that isn't natural.

My natural hair color is absurd.  It's auburn AND brown AND black.  Yes, all at the same time.  It looks patchy and odd, so I dye it a uniform dark brown and it looks way better than way.  Not one person has ever asked me if it was my natural color or not because it matches my natural eyebrow color.  However, I let my hair grow out for some time and I constantly got told that I "needed to touch up my highlights."   ::)   I don't have highlights. 

I regret that I don't have any pictures of attractive people to contribute right now.  I'm kind of hung up on just a few and I've already talked about them!

I think Megan Fox is prettier now than when Michael Bay had her 5 shades darker than what she was, and with a sweaty look. I never understood why everyone in transformers looked sunburnt, sweaty, and oily.

Because when the average human being is outside in the heat of summer, they will sweat and possibly get sunburnt. If a person WASN'T sweating in that situation, then they need to get to a hospital ASAP because they are likely suffering from heatstroke and will possibly die.

Summer heat + Michael Bay explosions = dirty people

cause sweaty and oily skin makes it easier for humans to slip out of dangerous life-threatening situations.

Well, it wasn't just the nose job. She also got into a nasty car accident that screwed up her back for a LONG time. Frankly, I was amazed that she not only was on Dancing With the Stars, but actually won. The amount of pain she was in must've been nearly unbearable.

i know about the back. but once she was able to work again the nose job had changed her appearance so much that casting directors and even some fellow actors didn't recognise her.

*side note - i'm assuming dancing with the stars is the american version of strictly come dancing?

What would you call a woman with her body type? That's my type, I'd say curvy. Chubby, to me, is a cute term. I think BBW is harsh, I don't know why I feel that way.

I'd say curvy and voluptuous are both good terms.  Considering the term "curvy fit" can actually be found on certain cuts of ladies' pants, that's usually a good indicator it's a good term to use. ;)

But I wouldn't say someone is flawed for not having a supermodel build.  Heck, even if you look at different athletic disciplines, each sport encourages a different kind of build, not all of which might have the same level of attraction for everyone.

My wife is loving all these designers now tailoring to the curvy woman. I think it's great, that a woman with curves, and more, are more acceptable in the public eye. I presented a theory to my designer friend from high school, and she pretty much said Yes, it's true. I won't mention it here, because of rules. But yes, the curvy body is great.
I don't know if it's actually true, but it seemed right. My mom said the term "perfect 10" came from way back when; that if you wore a size 10, you had the perfect figure. Supermodels everywhere are all shaking their heads, but it made sense to me. Marilyn Monroe wasn't a waif. Not a size 10 either
