Ultrasabers is once again giving away a ridiculous numbers of premium, high quality, feature loaded sabers!  It's time for another AWESOME raffle.  This time we are giving away 120 sabers, which is significantly more than we have ever given away.  Check out a few of the past raffle winner thread or ask around and I'm sure the winners of any of our previous raffles can attest to the awesomeness of getting your name pulled and getting that free saber in the mail!  This raffle ends on Thursday, November 17th, 2016.  What that means is if you enter you will have MUCH less competition than our past raffles.  Higher odds of winning :-)  Which is always good.  Enjoy!  Not to mention we QUADRUPLED the number of sabers we're giving away!  Which means even HIGHER odds of winning.

I have the manticore CE with emerald driver but I wanted regular manticore with emerald driver. Don't know if I want to exchange the Manticore CE to the regular one and enter the raffle with the dark Prophecy V3 or just keep the manticore CE an order the Regular Manticore for my entry into the raffle

Got my first order in for this AWESOME Autumn Raffle!  I ordered a Bellicose RGBA Emerald Driver with Obsidian V4 sound and a silver non-illuminated AV switch (so I get full use of all 4 LEDs this time).  My first Emerald saber, the Electrum Wind, had RGBW and the W dedicated to the white illuminated silver AV Switch, and that works GREAT for that particular saber.  White on Silver on that EW gold/black/silver combination is fantastic, and for that saber I like mostly "cooler" colors anyway.  I've been trying to figure out which saber I'd want an RGBA Emerald Driver on because a lot of the DS colors would take advantage of the Amber LED, but wanted to be able to have more of a "neutral" looking hilt that could go either way.  Already have a Consular, but only bought it with a single QD LED, and it's great to switch back and forth between LS and DS colors, so BOOM with the Deal of the Day on now with the Bellicose at $15 off, I decided THIS is it!  Not to mention the free blade plug and t-shirt that comes with it as part of the Autumn Raffle Promo - so yeah!  Woo-hoo!  So excited.  I also threw in an extra silver covertec wheel so I could swap out the black one on the Bellicose if I like the silver better.  Lastly, definitely going to try to order one more before Nov. 17th and get a 2nd ticket in on this Raffle!  Here are the full specs and best of luck to everyone!  May the force be with... your raffle ticket!

Massive thank you, James Casey!  Your feedback is greatly appreciated.  The Bellicose seems to be a very well liked hilt around here.  I was up late last night and then early this morning thinking about it (when buying a new UltraSaber is on my mind, I clearly don't get much sleep  ;D  ), and after drooling a bit myself finally decided I'd found "the one" I was looking for.  Can't wait to do some vid/pic sharing when it gets here, that is, if PhotoBucket.com ever comes back up again   :'(

Wow, I'm so excited to get into the Autumn raffle.  Haven't posted in a very long time , nice to be back. So I've been buying grab bags a couple at a time since last month getting ready for Christmas, have 4 in need of 10 , but this is like killing three birds with one stone. I ordered 2 more grab bags, the Bellicose which my nephew loves (stunt),  plus an entry into the raffle 3in1. All at a very good price can't wait to see what they send. Even though I'm giving them as gifts, I still get to open the box. Every time I open a grab bag saber it feel like I win, caues I like all of em.

very, been there for me last month when things were rough..so windowed emitter and hg blade for dueling.

Nice of them to be there for you.  Something about the DVA color that seems so regal in a lightsaber, obviously partly due to it being used by Mace Windu, but it just feels "special" compared to other colors.  My second favorite is the new TRI Arctic Blue and lastly Pyrestone Orange.  So DVA is exactly what I'd give a good friend, too, and the Sentinel, whoa... that's got swag.

I might be changing my entry. The new Fulcrum and Lost Gray are amazing!

I just ordered both and split the order so now I have two raffle entries (fingers crossed).  Hopefully I win!  But Ive been waiting so long for the Fulcrum and Lost Gray that those two alone will make my super happy

I completely agree! That's how I'll be doing it, probably not til Monday.  To be honest, I prefer to have each saber shipped separately anyway.  Less chance of either saber getting damaged by FedEx.  There was another post where they ordered 4 at a time, all 4 were in the same box and the Electrum Wind's pommel got chipped by the Scorpion's pommel.  FedEx sometimes.... grrrr.  So, yeah, worth the extra shipping for the raffle, definitely, and worth the extra shipping to better ensure safe delivery.

My judgement was clouded by the dark side. My impatience forced me to place my second entry yesterday afternoon, about 3/4 hours before the YouTube video/announcement came out. Well good things come to those who wait, I will have the "Lost Grey" I will. Order was three more grab bags, prophecy in guardian blue (stunt), Christmas shopping is done.

Well, today's announcement changed things. I was waiting for the Fulcrum (and Lost Grey!) to be released, and didn't expect it to come in the raffle period.

Now, here's a question I've answered several times, but now it's pressingly important to hear an answer from someone else :D

If I use reward points on my order, but only enough to bring the price down to $250 before shipping... that's fine, right? I can save a little and still get in on the raffle.

I believe you are correct James.  As long as your order is over the $250 mark you can still be eligible to enter the raffle. 

The one down side to ordering my Fulcrum as a raffle entry is that I may not have it ship for more than a week.  The upside is that there's a chance that something else, also awesome, might be tucked into the box if it turns out to be a winning entry.

That's pretty much where I am to. I can wait a week; I may not be first with a review, but I've been waiting many years for this hilt. I can wait a week... plus shipping... Do we not have teleporters yet? :D

I went with the V4 board...I figured "what's an additional $10"

Always get V4, if that's a choice.  The mute function alone is worth the $10.  The only V3 board I have came in a raffle prize.  I still love it, but V4 is so much better for such a small increase in cost.

Not gone for the TRI setup before, but this way I can use Lee filters to get a green or lime blade - or any other colour that may be out there. Or, of course, I have a wicked cool silver hilt and blade with some gleaming gold and bronze highlights.

So, if we win, for example, a grab bag, do they already have the random sabers assembled so it can ship more or less immediately? This is as opposed to a grand prize in which I assume it would take some time (3-5 days) to assemble the sabers of your choice? Just curious, I'm in no huge rush and I would be so ecstatic to even win a stunt, much less one with sound.

Previously they've shipped winning orders out within a day of the raffle ending, so I suspect they have everything ready to, at least by the time the raffle is complete. The four Grand Prize winners would have to wait a bit longer... but I figure they can live with that!

I'm thinking about Christmas shopping early with a stunt saber and buying a few more to start a saber group in my community if I can pull that off.

Yeah, that's right.  I've had my Bellicose on order since 11/4 and I was just told my Fulcrum and Lost Gray that I ordered on Friday are already built ready to ship so they're definitely holding all orders that qualify as raffle entries until Friday to ship at the earliest and longer for the top prize winners that get to choose the sabers they want.  It's gonna be a long week.  Maybe I'll have to find a way to raise some more $$ and get another raffle entry before then!

Yeah - beyond psyched about this!

I struggled hard with the blade color - but in the end I couldn't shake the image of Ahsoka with her Silver blades in Rebels.  That was the look that finally converted me to becoming a Silver blade fan. 

And besides - long term I plan to install my own connectors and experiment with a bunch of custom TRI colors.

I also initially wanted the Silver activation box with a N-I AV switch . . . but the Black one grew on me. I definitely see now why Deep likes that one.

Once - I settled on Black, I thought the White ring from the illuminated switch would look awesome with the decorative silver grooves in the activation box.  :)

I agree Lord C...I did the same with my Fulcrum....got the white light on the black activation button.  with the Gray, I got all chrome with the Tri-C AB. 

TRI-AB was what I ended up going back & forth with - looking forward to seeing your pics.

I also look forward to seeing pics of yours as well.  I teetered between AS and AB the whole time, but since I don't have any blue sabers of my own I decided to go with AB.  Im looking forward to seeing all the different reviews

I love the idea of a white illuminated AV switch on that black activation box.  Almost did that, too.  Excellent idea!  I also thought about trying to do something with the ring around the button in the black AV switch, making it silver instead of black, but can't do that since the AV switch is one piece, so I went completely the other way and did a red illuminated black AV switch.  Like you I started with a "no-brainer" mentality that it needed to be the silver activation box, but that silver inlay on the black one really draws you in the more you look at it, and I like the accent of a black activation box on the silver hilt, too.  Deep sure knows his stuff, which goes without saying  ;)

You said "one of your orders".  So you made more than one and paid shipping on both.

They just arbitrarily sent you one and are likely holding the other until the Raffle is over to send a prize with if you win.

LC is right, no worries.  Having it shipped doesn't mean you're out of the raffle on that order.  I was surprised mine had shipped already and emailed Marlena in support, and she confirmed the number of raffle entries I had including one from the shipped order, so we're all in like Flynn til Friday. That's an excellent dealio for the Manticore.  If it were available for the Manticore CE, I know I would go for it.  Since I already have a Consular with a Dark Manticore emitter, I think I want to save my pesos for something else like a Guardian or a Scorpion.  I just gave my son the Manticore for his birthday last week, and he's got the Emerald version, so I think I want to get something else.  Hard to pass up a deal like that, though, not to mention that it combines with a raffle entry.  Hmmm.

So if we only had the one entry and it's status is "shipped" does that just mean if we were to win something it would be sent separately?

That's correct.  No raffle drawings until 11/18, so just a guess, but they're probably just clearing out some storage space and getting ahead of the big shipping day that is to come.  They've likely built a LOT of sabers for folks and were holding orders to consolidate shipping costs for the raffle winners, but eventually you run out of room.

Just added a few bits & bobs to my Raffle order.

I've had a very slow going side project of overhauling my Menace CE I originally bought with Basic Sound.

Hoping I can finish while on vacation with the family for Thanksgiving; we're visiting my family up in MA for the entire week.

Plan to eventually get a 2nd one to complete the DM staff and realized, oh sweet crackers & cheese - they don't make a nickel plated coupler!  :-\  Didn't think about that part when I bought the CE.

So I'm going with a Black one - whenever I get the 2nd one.

In the meantime, I got 3 Black knurled screws to put on and a black AV switch bezel - to go with a Black switch with a raised-actuator I am putting on.  The inner sleeve of the Emitter is Black - no windows.

Looking to accentuate the Black highlights so it will tie in better eventually with a Black coupler.  :)

I wanted to buy two Menace CE's at the same time (I love everything in Nickel when I can get it) and put them together with a quick release coupler. I wonder which coupler others have used.  I'm thinking a silver wouldn't look bad but that puts a wrinkle in my plans for sure. I think I'll email UltraSabers support about it and see if is any way to get a nickle plated coupler made, who knows... maybe they would? I'll let you know what they tell me.

Just heard from Marlena who said a nickel plated coupler has been requested a lot, and that Emory is aware, so it could be something coming.  UltraSabers listens carefully to their customers, so to me it seems highly likely.  If I were to get my 2 Menace CEs for now, I'd go with the silver coupler.  I simply must have the Menace in the CE version - it calls to me - I must obey.

Anyway, I'd love to see pictures of your project when it's completed.  I have no doubt your plan will turn out a pretty sharp and formidable looking rig.

Cool - I've grown to love the Nickel & Black concept.  But if they come out with a Nickel-plated adjustable coupler, I'd pick that up too.

But I went with the Black idea because I didn't personally like the idea of the Silver coupler when there are no Silver parts on the hilt to tie it in.  It would just stand out as inconsistent with the rest of the staff and I'm fussy about that stuff!  I figured with the Black, I could easily tie that in throughout and the 2 colors should look great together!

Quick question, what time of day do they usually release the raffle results? I'll be working most of the day and then be on the road in the evening travelling from San Antonio to College Station (I live in San Antonio and attend UTSA and I plan to attend the UTSA-A&M football game with my cousins this Saturday - they go to A&M so it will be interesting :P). I'll make sure and put up a thread in the cosplay section with some of the pics from the shoot. The shoot will be one of my female friends modeling for me using my Liberator. My Dark Catalyst MAY get a brief moment in the sun for that shoot. The prophecy is for a shoot I have planned for a later date :)

Well my company switched to a 9/80 schedule last year and it so happens that this is my Off-Friday . . . and every year we take the week of Thanksgiving off to visit my family in MA so it's also the official start of my vacation.

Nice work choosing those options, and I think we need to add a nickname to your forum name, Jedi "switcheroo" XIX.  Your work here in bringing this mod to light is exceptionally appreciated.  It's all I've thought about, besides the new Fulcrum and Lost Gray, for my next saber(s).  I'm so impressed by that look.  Incredible, and I think it should definitely be added to the UltraSabers configuration wizard in their online store, so you'd have AV switch button color and AV switch bezel color.  Everyone should see the possibility of doing this.  Until then, of course, in the comments section it will go.  Can't wait to try it on my next order.

I'm so freaking tempted to finagle the money from somewhere to order an emerald Lost Gray.

I get you, man. I was at the same crossroads when I ordered my Lost Gray and didn't have the funds for an Emerald, and I have an emerald Electrum Wind, so I heartily agree it's so worth having, but for this one I made a deal with myself, forego the Emerald, go with a TRI Cree GB instead, get a raffle entry and then put a 30 inch photon blade on it. The photon blade uses the wavelength of the TRI GB LED blue light to convert it into an even brighter eerie lime green color, like Ahsoka Tano's saber in Clone Wars.  I still get two blade colors out of it: a very bright guardian blue and a very bright lime green, not bad.  ;)

From what I've seen, lighter shades of blue work better with Photon blades. Might want to consider a TRI-AB if you haven't already ordered.

Finally pulled the trigger and bought 4 Grab Bag sabers and blades. Considering the plan is to get others in the community interested and they'll be using them, I don't feel bad.

Now my wife may kill me, but I don't currently feel bad.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion, OBK, and please have a point for not only helping me out but suggesting TRI-AB - it's my favorite color! I have in fact already ordered, but that's okay.  I do have a 36 inch photon blade already and have tried it with the two TRI AB sabers, the Graflex and Dark Prophecy, and my one regular GB saber, the Consular, and I couldn't see a difference. I was seriously close to buying another TRI AB for the Lost Gray, but since I already have it on two of sabers, I decided to go with the TRI GB on this one instead. Though I haven't tried a TRI GB (vs. regular GB) with a photon blade, I am really looking to see how the extra 20-30% boost in brightness will affect the photon blade. I'll sure talk about it in my video review.

So enough about me... have you decided if you're going for a Lost Gray yourself? I hope you can. I especially love hearing when someone really wants a saber, can't decide for various reasons, not the least of which is having the money for it, and then later hearing that they pulled the trigger. I just want to cheer them on - yeah!

So I think it's time to admit publicly that I have an addiction, and it has to do with lightsabers, but I'm proud to say this: UltraSabers is my supplier and they're awesome. It's late, and I'm trying to be funny.  Never try to be funny when it's late.

Just saw the Archon 2.1 Flash Sale, and while earlier today and again only just a few hours ago I was toying with the idea about possibly ordering another saber while the raffle was still going, I think this put me over the edge. I've been admiring both the Archon V2.1 and V3.1 for a while now, and while I really like the looks of the 3.1, I wasn't keen on the special blade requirement and lower durability of the Emitter neck, so I just took a giant leap and ordered the Archon 2.1 just now and pretty excited!!!

The specs I chose are below. This is a very cool hilt that comes apart in 4 pieces, so later I think I might try replacing the neck with a vented coupler like I've seen others do or put on an Overlord Emitter. Very versatile, so cool to have this Luke ROTJ style saber.  😋

Thanks, hazard502.  I watched a lot of video reviews, and there's more to this saber than meets the eye and 20% off!  Maybe I'll paint the upper section of the neck gold, because that's one aspect of the Archon 3.1 that I really liked. I wonder if anyone in the forum has any suggestions to do something like that. 

You could always just get the 3.1 emitter, and swap them out...

There have been 2-3 perfectly painted V2.1 upper necks painted gold and they looked amazing. There were a variety of spray paint brands used and one I remember was automotive with a clear coat layered on last. Those posts on the forums are older and would take a little digging to find.

That's awesome, Sensei.  My martial arts teacher did something similar for us many years ago (not lightsabers, but bo staffs, I was 18 at the time), and it was such an amazing gift because they were octagonal shaped out of this really hard Brazilian wood. Anyway, it's something I've held on to over the years to remember him and our class of students.  Nice work, sir.

Thanks, LR. I thought about that, and I know you can do the reverse and buy an Archon 2.1 Emitter to put on an Archon 3.1 pommel, but I don't see the Archon 3.1 Emitter in the store. Do you suppose they'd sell me one if asked? Perhaps down the road I could do this. It'd make a good display.

I just got 2 grab bag sabers, one guardian blue and one artic blue.  I also own 2x 30" photon blades I bought for my saber staff.  So I snapped a photo for you all.

The Dominix V2 is guardian blue and the dark apprentice is artic blue.  The guardian blue is brighter in real life also.  I assume the same is for tri artic blue and tri guardian blue.

Love it! - I love that whole range of color between eerie green through deep guardian blue, and oh yes, the TRI AB and TRI GB are both gorgeous in real life.  Completely FULL all the time, at least until your batteries run out  :D.  I have a 36 inch photon blade now and a 30 inch photon blade on the way (to go with the new Lost Gray with TRI GB).  I'm a HUGE believer in the TRI LEDs and the FoC isn't a must have for me, but I still consider FoC a nice perk with the Emerald Driver sabers and do use it then.
