Title: Ultrasaber Shock Review
Post by: bebelise on December 28, 2016, 12:20:27 PM
Received my Ultrasabers shock last December 13th and got it customized with my local autofoil (car wrapping tech) shop. You can view the video here:

We also did a full article:

Thank you, Ultrasabers for always keeping the turnaround time under 1 week, despite the fact that I live in the Philippines.

Excellent bebelise!

Great contrast with the two-tone there. :)  Way to go.  So bright too. ;D
+1

Be careful mentioning the competition. It's not allowed on US's site.  Merely say the "other guys".

For future projects, perhaps just link to your YouTube page...

I don't intend to be "the rulebook cop", sorry. :)

It really looks great, and I look forward to seeing your future endeavours.

Wow, I really like that. Great idea, and is much prefer to do that than a paint job. I'm in the USA so I'll have to see if there is a shop like Autofoil around here that would be able/willing to do a wrap like that on my Arbiter that looks as awesome as yours did. Maybe on a Catalyst, too.

Thanks for sharing that idea and great review! +1

Wow, that dark blue and silver really pops.  Great choice.  The limitation of not being able to fill the grooves or do the emitter is in your favor, I think.  I also really like the speckles.  Great job, great review and have a point.  :)

Very cool. I think he only meant what other sabers he'd like to try in the future not to disrespect US's at all. That blue looks sweet though :P

Thanks, everyone. I gave out points to all of you. I honestly think that the guy doing the wraps COULD do the grooves, but it takes a ton of work. I saw him redo the main hilt 3 times because of wrinkles and i could only imagine what that would be like if he did the whole thing. But seeing how it works first-hand gives me a couple of ideas. Next time, I'll choose an ultrasabers hilt that has less grooves  ;D

The only less groovy hilts I can think of are either Archons, Menace, Chosen One, Graflex, Electrum Wind, Lost Gray and Fulcrum, Reaper, Monarch, and Scorpion sabers :P I think that covers all the less groovy sabers

I was thinking the prophecy v3 since the groves on the handle is not as deep or pronounced. Matte white, and a custom paint job for a macross crossbones.

This treatment looks like it was made for the Standard Issue battle saber!  :o

The people at the car wrapping shop was more than happy to work with something new. Some parts took 3 tries to get right. You can hear the guy audibly sigh, scratch his head and rip out the wrap if he finds it less than perfect. The batteries on the saber were close to depleted so I know they had fun with it.   :)
