After cautiously dueling with my Archon 3.1, I quickly decided that I wanted to have an emitter that could stand up to full-contact dueling. I already had a flush coupler (that I no longer needed for my staff after getting a quick release coupler), so by using that, a sink tube, a hose clamp, and a dremel, it was a quick and inexpensive mod for my Archon. The hose clamp does a great job in comparison to the traditional blade retention screw at holding the blade in place, in that it's not crushing the blade but only wrapping around it. While not perfect (it's my first mod), it serves its purpose of being a dueling ready emitter.
