Hello SaberForum,

Similar to my previous sound font, "Star Wars Battlefront (2015) - Luke ROTJ," found at http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=33609.0 , I've pulled together the audio files used in the new Battlefront game to create a Graflex (Luke's blue lightsaber) sound font, 100% accurate to the game.

The sound files for the game were apparently pulled directly from the Skywalker Sound archives, so this is one of the truest original trilogy sound fonts you'll find (at least to the extent of the game's accuracy...).

I've mixed in some ignition sounds from The Force Awakens, credit to Aldar_Breedo for his great work.

Let me know if you'd like any of the more classic swings/ignitions/retractions to be added into the pack. The sound font is more game based than movie based.

They sound good, I love your TFA boot towards the bottom.  There are a few other boots from that movie I would love to have.  We thank you, I have no idea how to do most of that. I tried recording The Imperial March a while back on to Audicity and the recording just ended up sounding like crap. I don't know how you guys get everything sounding so good and crisp.

Which sound clips in particular? I have a good few extras.

After 6 hours straight of working on two different fonts, I may have gotten a bit lazy when it came to simply converting some LSU boot files to WAV files  ::)

I was lucky enough to have someone else make a program to extract audio files from the game's files.

As for the Imperial March I can only suggest not recording it off of a TV, if that's the case  :o  A YouTube to MP3 conversion of Imp. March would be fine for soundboard use, quality wise.

Actually, yes. I was going to re mix it and upload it to saberfont, but apparently the person who worked on the sounds is a member of the saber community so out of respect Saberfont doesn't allow Battlefront fonts

I have to re mix my current two fonts on saberfont, then I'll probably release this battlefront font as one massive pack optimized for the highest soundboards available. A free sample of my abilities should bring people to my other fonts.

I should have it up maybe next week or the week after.

Saberfont doesn't sell fonts directly formatted for Obsidian, but the conversion is simple. If you'd like one of my fonts in the future and to have it for Obsidian, you can contact me and let me know which font(s) you purchased and I will convert and send the font(s) to you  :)

The above comments should alleviate your worries a bit. Since I'm releasing the font for free in the future, I may as well temporarily re upload the old version to the link.

Still a Graflex font, so it still works for me.  ;D
