Love that you've included these!  Although it seems only half the links are working.  Sentinel Yellow is also missing.

Thank you so much for these. Any update on when and if other colors will be added? I would really like the BH and PO presets, please and thank you.

Does anyone have just the wav files for these fonts? I think most of them are in the default obsidian v4 package, so I'll check there.

Yes. The only one that is not in that package is the Episode V.

Yes. The only one that is not in that package is the Episode V.

All I needed was the ancient saber font, so luckily that was in the stock obsidian package as I knew. Luckily I don't need (or want) the stock episode V

I would like to know as well.

This would make the Diamond Controller a lot easier to use.

Any ideas where we might download the fonts (orange, emerald green, and such) that are missing?

Mine came built with Orange, but something screwed up during a firmware update and it reset to silver.  I don't have the time or inclination to try and build my own new font from scratch, so any help with a prebuilt is much appreciated....

There is supposedly an express tab in development, which was brought up by the engineers in answer to a thread I posted.  This would, in theory (because we haven't seen it yet) allow you to say:

Orange Saber
Yellow Pulse
Silver Flash-on-Clash
Obsidian Sound Font

And the express tab would give you those options.  This would make it far easier for us to change colors on the saber, while retaining the power of the Diamond controller in the Diamond - Advanced tab.

Unfortunately that was about 6 or 7 weeks ago, and at the time they said 3-4 weeks, so i have no idea when to expect that, either.

Thanks for the update, looking forward to it!

Just as an FYI, you should take a lesson from Montgomery Scott.  He would tell Captain Kirk that a 10-hour repair would take 30 hours.  So if he got it done in 10 hours it would look like a miracle, and even if it took 3 times as long, he's still right on time according to what Kirk expected.

Right you are, but in mysterious ways the dark side works. For wise advice, to you my thanks!

Point for this awesome fact, that I knew.

Although I'm curious why we still don't have links to all of the default color options.

Hello. I downloaded the Red-Presets. When I open the software and go to the Diamond Controller and Load from file it is looking for a .dcfg file. So I click on Effect Editor and then Load and that is looking for a .peff file. the Red-presets folder only has .pfnt files. What am I supposed to be downloading? I'm looking to create a Red Saber like Darth Vader. Thank you and sorry to be such a Newb!

In the 'Main' tab of the Launcher, click the 'Resources' button and there's the 'Diamond User Manual'. Everything you need to know in in there. Alternatively, you can access the User Manual here http://rsxengineering.com/saber_resources/Diamond_UserManual.pdf (http://rsxengineering.com/saber_resources/Diamond_UserManual.pdf)

Hi, I was wondering if you had created the precreated folder for the orange pyrestone color and the other ones that we can't download on your first post.

Thank you!

Good afternoon.  I was wondering if there was an updated version of this post that contained the links to all of the color files and backup files for an UltraSaber that uses the Diamond Controller?

Many thanks in advance.

Does anyone have the RGBW (and RGBA) values for the different 'standard' colors?  It'll be easier to match if we have those values on-hand.
Thanks in advance

Found this thread doing a google search... http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=278lmcmb4rab1k3r1mfvb6fdd4&topic=37764.0 (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=278lmcmb4rab1k3r1mfvb6fdd4&topic=37764.0)
(disclaimer, I won't be trying these out myself until my sabers arrive... but in the meantime...)
I notice that W values are missing... not sure what mixing extra W will do, but I'm guessing you'll get a brighter but more pastel look.

Consular Green - G255

Bane's Heart - R255 B25
Violet Amethyst - R75 B255
Dark Violet Amethyst - R50 B255
Hot Pink - R255 B255

Row 3 (Blue-Green combinations)
Arctic Blue - G255 B255
Sunrider's Destiny - G255 B20
Emerald Green - G255 B10
unnamed color(Sky Blue?) - G55 B255

Row 4 (Red-Green combinations)
Sentinel Yellow - R175 G255
Fire Orange - R255 G150
Pyrestone Orange - R255 G30
unnamed color(Lime/Toxic Green?) - R50 G255

Addendum from ktulu1347 in the next post:

Bane's Heart is R255 B16 instead of R255 B25
Dark Violet Amethyst is R40 B255 instead of R50 B255

Hot Pink - R255 B75

Additionally, this site, on adding white:
https://blog.athrunen.dev/experimenting-with-efficiently-combining-rgb-and-true-white/ (https://blog.athrunen.dev/experimenting-with-efficiently-combining-rgb-and-true-white/)

Conclusion

Using the white LED when mixing desaturated colors is fairly easy and can be achieved by just simply replacing all or some of the amount of white created by the third color with actual white.
The more desaturated the color is, the more are we able to reap the benefits of the wider color spectrum. The problem is, that on full saturations we have no white at all.
But I can think of at least two ways to increase the quality even in that case:
Using more than three spectral colors(tetra-, pentachromatic LEDs)
Always adding some tiny amount of white(and maybe increase the resolution from 8-bit(256 steps) to 16-bit(65536 steps))
And as I am already working on implementing the aforementioned 16-bit RGB resolution I might be able to try the last one out for myself.

So the packages for the Red, Blue, Green, Silver, Arctic Blue and Blue Violet Amethyst, are quite useful and awesome but we are missing several other colors to help make the diamond controller easier for beginners to use.

If at all possible could we get these colors in packages:

Orange Blade Color
Violet Amethyst Blade Color
Sunrider's Destiny Blade Color
Bane's Heart Blade Color
Hot Pink Blade Color
Pyrestone Orange Blade Color
Sentinel Yellow Blade Color

I know the others have the various colors in their packages, as pulses and flash on clash, but my skills with the advanced wizard are minimal at this point and I have not yet figured out how to adapt the colors to create my own fonts.

Any help with this would be vastly appreciated.
Thank you.
