Title: DIamond and Flamberge Post by: turlisk on June 11, 2017, 03:06:42 AM So I got my diamond today, and its very nice, but it seems that the main blade isnt very bright overall. Is there a way in the diamond controller to increase the brightness of the blades?
Thanks. Title: Re: DIamond and Flamberge Post by: Therion Jinn on June 11, 2017, 03:16:41 AM I suspect that the problem's not so much the brightness of the main blade as it is the concentration of light in the side blades.
I have a similar issue with the custom I just built. Because there's less area to light up, the side blades just look brighter Title: Re: DIamond and Flamberge Post by: turlisk on June 11, 2017, 03:23:35 AM My emerald mainblade is nice and bright, and so are my sides, and i just run filters to them. I wonder if I should just stick with :/ the endless options of the diamond are very cool though. Maybe its best left for a single blade.

If you're using a color that only features 1 LED, it's not going to be as bright as multiple LEDs (at least I assume so). So, Orange will be brighter than Red and so on. If you can add white, that will make it brighter... though, also whiter (which turns Red into Pink - probably not what you're going for - but looks nice in Blue). I wish I could turn down the power on those and increase the center.
