Title: LED Question Post by: brad81380 on June 29, 2017, 09:58:05 AM I have been searching the forums and can't seem to find an answer, though I am sure it is in there somewhere. I need to know if the Dark Standard Issue takes a standard or MLS LED. I am considering making my own saber and need info on this one particular item.

The V-series sabers all take the non-flanged LED module.https://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/led%20module.htm Title: Re: LED Question Post by: Racona Nova on June 29, 2017, 05:29:50 PM Yes, it's the Standard module for many of the 'low-budget' hilts. MLS modules are mostly used in the premium hilts.

I wasn't entirely sure because of the size of the hilt(which is one of their wider ones). Main reason I was asking was because of Quick Disconnect. Title: Re: LED Question Post by: Racona Nova on June 29, 2017, 09:17:07 PM QD's are possible on both units. It only depends on the space inside the hilt if QD's can be installed or not.

I wasn't aware of US offering QDs on any V-series models. Title: Re: LED Question Post by: Racona Nova on June 30, 2017, 05:42:09 PM Maybe not from US's side, but for a DIY project it might be possible. I think we have some members who added QD's on various hilts where US doesn't officially offer the QD system...but I could be wrong :D

Grey.....in my case a Jedi who left the order over differences. All about the backstory of the character. So another agent 0.Title: Re: LED Question Post by: brad81380 on July 13, 2017, 08:38:42 PM So another agent 0. Not exactly. Not sure what agent 0 means. I'm slowly building the character, but do know he left the order due to not thinking the job was over when the Jedi pulled out. He chose to stay to defend the people of yhe Agrarian world he settled on. As a Jedi, he was a sentinel. Always liked their balanced approach. Both warriors and scholars. I was going to do full makeup, but the event doesn't permit it, but maybe at some of the cons. Title: Re: LED Question Post by: Darth Logos on July 14, 2017, 05:11:19 PM Not exactly. Majobu5 refers to himself as Agent 0 because of his preference to remain absolutely neutral by staying at 0ptsTitle: Re: LED Question Post by: brad81380 on July 15, 2017, 05:34:05 AM Majobu5 refers to himself as Agent 0 because of his preference to remain absolutely neutral by staying at 0pts Got ya.....I am not that particular, but do prefer to stay in the neutral range, not really heavily biased towards light or dark. In real life, I am a Pagan and Buddhist, so the Grey Jedi path closely resembles my personal beliefs. I also have this tendency to defend people when an injustice is being done to them. I see my Jedi character as an extension of who I am as a person, though the convention version will likely be a non-human(I am an actor by trade, so getting to play with stage makeup is always a fun thing for me). |
