I like the idea but, I have all my sabers plotted out. so might pull a big group promo and give one away...it'll be a little bit so I'll see what comes out of them.

I received my mystery boxes today. I can not be happier. I purchased one of each.

For my 75$ I received an Dark Initiate LE v4 with windows, Black AV switch and Light sound. In Guardian Blue.

For my 200$ mystery box I was totally blown away. I could of never seen myself getting something this wonderful.

Wow! That is a beautiful saber! Congratulations on getting a Emerald Driver Graflex SE. I am definitely leaning towards the $200 Mystery Box. So far I have seen the Reaper and now the Graflex.

That's a fantastic surprise !  But to be clear... it came with an emerald driver with how many channels ?  Did you also get an Obsidian soundboard and if so which one specifically ?  Thanks in advance for your reply.  :)

 my mystery box was just delivered and I got a stunt Arbiter with blazing red LED and a silver AV button. $75 got me a saber worth $164!!! I'm thrilled!

 It came with sound V.4. I think it has two channels it fluctuates between blue and green. It also has flash on clash.  It came in a regular FedEx box but each individual saber was wrapped in brown paper so you did not know what you had until you opened it.

So I just got back from a convention and had to make an account to share my mystery box joy!

I chose the $75 box with heavy blade upgrade and received a Sentinel V4 in Consular Green, no windows, with Lite sound and a silver AV switch! Pics to come once I've found a good place to upload them.

Overall, I'm completely happy with my first Ultrasaber, and it's given me plenty of ideas for when I can get myself a completely customized one!

I looked on the site at all the options for a Emerald with sound and this is what I believe is the build of mine. It has a blue transition to green color with silver flash. 8 channels of sound and rechargeable batteries. I need to find out what all I can do with this Majestic saber. I never even thought I would be able to have a Emerald equipped saber. I was trying to figure out how I would get basic sound.

The two choke points on the hilt are super comfortable, especially with my tiny hands.

Hey guys, first official post!:) Those mystery boxes look amazing and I can't wait to see what everyone else gets! I was wondering if anyone has seen videos on youtube of unboxings. I've seen one where a guy gets a stunt initiate V4 (red) but nothing else has popped up for me.

I'm new to all of this...so can someone explain how you can tell if it's standard LED or Tri-LED? I'm fairly certain mine is standard but I'd like to be sure.

TRI is of course 3. When it is off, look inside to see 1 led ring or 3. Or, when it is on, aim it at the wall with no blade to see 1 spot or 3 spots. Try different distances to be sure you aren't just seeing all 3 spots in close proximity.

Thanks Obese Wan Kenobese! Definitely standard setup on my Arbiter then. Another thing I was curious about is if the silver non-illuminated switch will work with sound should I decide to upgrade in the future.

yes, a lot of us rather have an AV switch on sound sabers (just looks nicer in opinion.)

Thanks for the unboxing vid, Prowl.  That's a great saber.  I have a Dominix LE V4 and I love it, it's one of my favorite spinning sabers.  Guarding Blue goes great with the black and silver, and that AV switch is nice too.  Not bad at all for $75.   8)

Most AV switches US uses are momentary switches and thus only suitable for sound sabers, with one exception: sabers with an activation box. Those can also be equipped with an AV switch when ordering them without sound. The reason is that the latching AV switches required for stunt sabers are slightly longer and wouldn't fit the normal saber body without an activation box.

Actually, I think they have finally found a way around that. I have a Dark Ini V4 with latching AV, no box.

my dark SI, libby and apprentice are stunts with AV switches too.

Well, that's good news. I haven't ordered sabers for a long time now, I'm not up to date ;) I'll try to remember that for the next time :)

Wow. You have been out of it for a while. I think the short latching AVs came into play shortly after we got black AVs.

Well, I noticed the black AVs...but the latching AVs must have passed me by :D I tried to follow all news and announcements, but it looks like I still missed some.

Got a Dark Apprentice v4 with windowed emitter in Guardian blue with lite sound from the $75 box. :) valued $175.99. I think I may have to order another box next week.

I suspect the Mystery boxes are governed similarly to the Grab Bag, only not using reject parts.

Okay - I had to take my delivery into our IT room where very few people have access so I could unbox (I could not wait until I got home!). I will upload pictures when I do get home.

The only thing I notice is the pommel on the $75 saber is very scratched up and has marks all over it. I did not think the mystery boxes were to have the potential for rough parts.

The description of the item does have this line, "Mystery box sabers may come with some minor cosmetics damage to the hilt."
So that's probably within the realm of to be expected.

I imagine this is a way for US to not have those parts just go to waste.

It also states plainly how the switches etc. still add to the value to stay over the 75$ value. Some folks think the empty hilts less than 75$ aren't on the list. That is just crazy.

I hit the mother load with my 75 dollar mystery box.  I got a Archon V2.1 with a Obsidian V4 sound board in blazing red!!!  This is my second saber from ultra sabers in about three weeks my first was a Aeon V4 with vented Windows and Orange Blade color.

Hellz yeah. For a little added flare, I recommend getting a non-adjustable vented coupler to add window to the neck. I love the Archon. It is such a choice hilt.

Also applaud you on having the sense to having pricey things sent to the office. I do all the time so a) someone in receiving can sign for it and b) I don't have to wait till I get home to play with....I mean inspect my new saber.

Glad to see all the cool sabers from the mystery box! I may have to bite the bullet and try the $75 option, while they're still sending out lots of cool stuff! I imagine this is just a wave of more premium hilts to hype the new product, and pretty soon getting premium setups will become increasingly rarer, especially on the $75 option.

My mystery box arrived, 200$ mystery box. I got an initiate LE v4 with Lite Sound, FoC which I think is silver but kind of comes out really light pinkish white, silver non illuminated av switch, blazing red. I am quite happy with it. I ordered a 36 inch ultra edge heavy grade with it, but did not like that length, I am very particular about the balance of my sabers being as close to the emitter as possible, and even after connecting my 4 inch MHS extension the balance was still about 4 inches up the blade. Not a problem tubing cutters and some glue to regale the film and bam, 32 inch blade with perfect balance, also since the speaker will not fit through the extension( without voiding warranty on electronics and unsoldering them, I just put the extension on the end, its awesome!!!! That 4 inches of empty space creates a nice resonance chamber which makes the already loud obsidian lite board even louder. I may switch the LED at a later time once I am confident that there are no defects in the electronics(as to not void warrant yet), so that I can create an amethyst color with a r/g/rb, Tri rebel and resistoring the red quite a bit and lightly resistoring the blue, and using the green to fire off with the other two for FoC. I will need to understand how the FoC is set up on these boards though, it was one of the biggest things I wanted. I am quite pleased got a 224.99 value for 200 not too shabby. I will probably try my luck with a 75$ mystery box soon. One of the best things about this is the suspense, the excitement, the anticipation(making it great, lol) I felt like a kid on christmas morn, what a great feeling!!! Another thing that is great about this is that they are already boxed, thus there is no real lead time, I ordered monday night and received it today, of course I am just 5 hours north of ultra sabers, in DFW, but still my other sabers took 5 days total each time, not that that is in anyway a problem either, there is literally no where else you can get a saber at affordable cost, and get it so quickly. US rocks!!! Will post pics soon, right now I want to play LOL.

I got my $75 mystery box on Monday, just forgot to post about it.

It's the best one I've even seen so far!!

I got a Dark Arbiter with Obsidian V4 Sound in BR, though I changed out the LED to a green one. It came with a Black AV Switch. I lucked out! I got a $285 Lightsaber for $75!

Let me know what i should to to customize it.

I'm thinking of just switching out the pommel and emitter, but I haven't decided.

Well, I'm new to this forum and new to the saber world.  I've been wanting to buy a saber for many years and finally bit the bullet!  Now I think I'm hooked LOL

I opted for the $200 mystery box.  I decided to let fate choose my first saber.  Well, I received it yesterday and I was more than pleased!  Inside I got a Lost Grey with Lite sound and Guardian Blue color.  Non lighted switch with black buttons.  This thing rocks!  The balance on it is perfect.  I wouldn't change a thing. 

I was so happy that today I put in an order for a $75 box.  LOL Hope to get  as lucky as some of you have gotten with it ;)

Here are pics of my Mystery Box Saber 200$ box. I already had the MHS extension, but that thing makes the saber even louder than it already was. Loving this thing, only problem is the quick drain on the batteries, I just got some NiMH rechargeable batteries, I understand it might not be as bright but that it will retain its brightness through the charge, as opposed to dimming very quickly. Gonna give it a shot and see how it works, regardless I am well pleased.

Well I decided to try this out . I already have 6 sabers but i'm always looking to add to my collection. I received a Dark Sentinel LE v4. No sound in arctic blue. it was my first artic blue saber and it looks nice. I was disappointed not to get one with sound. My Son really wants one now so I ordered another mystery box today. Hopefully I will score with the next one.

The only way to guarantee one with sound is to drop 200 Republic credits on one.  Otherwise, it's luck of the draw.

At least  you got a great hilt. The Sentinel line is a favorite of mine.  They're a great starting point for custom mods, and the choke points and grip are comfy. (add some leather to the chokes for extra comfort)

Congrats on your newest saber.  Realistically the odds of getting a sound saber in a $75 mystery box are lower... but may the Force be with you.

Just ordered a 75$. Really would be happy with about anything. This is my first custom since one of the very old school "other guys" back around early 2000's. Not gonna lie, sound, or one of the more deluxe model hilts (or both) would be amazing, but all of the models have something awesome to offer. Until Monday(delivery day), it's up to the will of the force.

I just got my $75 and $200 dollar mystery boxes in. The $75 was a Dark Initiate V4 that had a black AV switch and the blade color was red. The $200 was a Apprentice LE V4 with Lite sound, Silver AV switch, Flash on Clash, and the blade color was Consular Green. I would have to say I am impressed with the sabers I got out of the mystery boxes.

Really want something with sound again though but if I score an Emerald board that'll be amazing and probably my last saber for awhile hopefully the BG one because I have a cool color set up for that one ;o If I get lucky anyway. Can we request no Initiate sized sabers or whatever?

As I was posting yesterday I got my shipping notice. Should have it by the end of next week at the latest. Can't wait.

I have made 3 orders from 07/20 to 07/27 one was two mystery boxes and another was in stock. After emailing US about the first order (July 20th) with no shipping I was told since I got a raffle ticket with it they won't ship it until the raffle is over on August 11th).

Have an other people order while getting a raffle ticket and get there shipment as they regularly would so I was kind of surprised to get the answer I did. At this point I'm just hoping that means I won something!

Some get their order delivered prior to the raffle date and more often if residing in the USA.  Those in other countries MAY receive their order before the raffle.  There is no set standard and also since the raffle has not yet taken place... therefore no winners yet drawn.  Best of luck with your entry. :)

Sweet!  That's a score right there.  Hands down, one of my favorite sabers, especially with that blade color.  I'm with you, no windows or illuminated AV is the way to go.  You'll love that emitter for gripping while spinning and performing combat maneuvers with no windows in the way.  Luck was definitely on your side, my friend.  :)

Edit:  Oops, just saw where that's a Dark Initiate LE. (don't know how I missed that in the picture) Still an awesome saber.  That makes no windows even more important, as hand real estate on the Initiates is at a premium.  I have an Initiate LE V4 with windows and I wish it was without.

Either way, that's still an over $200 saber for less.  What size of blade did you get?

Big surprise! I finally got my mystery box and I got a Dominix V4 with premium sound, black AV, blazing red, no windows, and rechargeable batteries! This is my first sound saber so if anyone knows how I can tell the difference between a V4 and V3 soundboard I would greatly appreciate it. I will post some pics later! So for about $95 with shipping I got a $225 saber! So excited!!!!!!

Just got my kyber blade plug. It's a little smaller in diameter than I really expected but I still think it looks pretty good.

Hey so quick question from a noob. With the sound saber what exactly do I need to purchase? Charger and usb cable for sure but anything else? Nothing came with my mystery box so I am kinda in the dark a bit

The VC2 charger, one or two sets of spare batteries and the USB cord (if you don't have any) are enough. If you were lucky and your saber came with a Recharge Port, you want the 1.2A Smart Charger as well!

For your first Li-ion saber, I would recommend a VC2 charger. Yes to USB cables if you don't already have one around the house.

Hello everyone! I recently purchased $75 mystery box and i so glad i did! I received a Bane! Never thought i would get so lucky and receive a saber worth $150 for just $75. Not only that but it came with a black av switch which gives it even more value and looks way better than the standard guarded switch. It came with Fire orange as the blade color and I like it alot! Im very happy with my purchase and thank you very much Ultrasabers!

Well a sentinel with artic blue and a nlade wrench is $75.99. If it's tri arctic blue it's $85.99. Does it have an AV switch? That's another $15 there.

No Flash On Clash but I dig the motion sounds I've figured out so far. I figure with the options its a $350 saber. For $200? Not bad. Definitely not what I expected and not necessarily what I was hoping for, but a cool saber nonetheless.

I bit the bullet on another $75 mystery box. I got an Arbiter with V3 sound with a silver non illuminated av switch Guardian Blue no FoC. Holy crap this hilt is huge for a small guy!

Yes the Arbiter is longer than most, but still pretty standard in diameter. Now if you want to talk heft that would be Flams, Scorps, Manti, and Malices.

I'm completely in love with it, it's soooo pretty. And the hilt is very comfortable to hold and play around with.

I just received two mystery box sabers!

The $75 mystery box resulted in an Initiate V4 in Silver with Windows and AV Switch.  I paired that with a 24" blade for my young son to play with.  It didn't come with color discs so I'll probably order some so we can change the blade color.  This is a very nice basic, light saber that he can definitely wield.

The $200 mystery box is my first UltraSaber with sound.  It wound up being a Graflex with Emerald Driver and Obsidian Sound!  It also came with gold and chrome buttons, a non-illuminated silver AV switch and rechargeable batteries with no recharge port but does have a covertec wheel which I suppose is standard.  It came set up with an odd idle combination so I immediately downloaded the driver software for Mac OS and made some updates.  The amount of customization is quite overwhelming!  I certainly wasn't expecting this, so I'm very pleasantly surprised!

Congrats on the Emerald Graflex! If you are planning on changing the color of the initiate, may I recommend getting a color gel swatchbook (Rosco, Lee, and Apollo are major companies)? Sometimes you can get them for free, and the colors you can get are much more satisfying. I know I got my swatchbook for $3 + $5 shipping. Totally worth it over the color disks if you are looking to change the silver blade color. Congrats again.

Nice. Why does your Flamberge have different shades of red though? Like the main looks brighter like a deep red while the cross blades are standard looking red

A word of advice: Never be disappointed with your mystery box. All is as the force wills it.

The only thing I'm a bit disappointed with is the fact that it isn't a windowed emitter one(and the lack of belt clip but that's easily remedied on my part), but tbh the hilt and blade color make such a pretty combo as is that it makes up for it.

Also, and has nothing to do with the saber itself, but I didn't like the fact that it was literally written in Sharpie what was in the package. Kinda spoiled the surprise a little, I really love having to get the packaging ALL THE WAY OFF before I find out, ruined the "Christmas" aspect.  :-\

It also kinda ruins the 'mystery' of the box. How can one be sure they are "random" if they know what is being grabbed?

Maybe they need to know if it's a particular model to send extras like the extra blades for the Crossguards, or to send the assembly wrench with an Omen or Malice.

I highly doubt they dig around looking at what everything is, picking and choosing what goes where. They would more than likely grab the one on the top of the pile, see if it needs extras and put it in the box. I ordered two mystery boxes at 12:02am and woke up to a shipping notification from 4:49am. They would be way too busy to play silly games.

I'm pretty certain that's the reasoning behind it. But it takes 3 seconds to scribble it out with a Sharpie, or write it on some tape and rip that off when packaging it.

You raise a good point. I also just had the thought that they probably also need to keep track of what's going out for inventory purposes.

The entire process is random.  We are grabbing BOXES not hilts when these are pulled to ship.  Come see us at a convention if you are curious of the process, you can see it in person  ;D  

The name of the hilt is written on the paper to assure the correct accessories are included with the hilt (the wrench for a Initiate is different that the wrench for a Graflex, the blade for an Archon v3.1 is different than the blade for a Archon v2.1, the Renegade and Flamberge require additional instructions and blade, etc etc etc)

The name of the fabricator is written for accountability purposes?  I assume you guys want these hilts inspected and sent through quality control prior to shipping right?

I gotta admit, it's kinda frustrating when you are the Wizard of Oz giving fabulous gifts and putting on a fabulous show for all and everyone is constantly trying to look beyond the veil to try to figure out what the gimmick is.  Just enjoy the show and in this case enjoy the prizes.  You CANNOT lose with the Mystery Box.  And everything that I say in the video is absolutely true and all information is given there.  The person that makes the saber is different from the person that boxes the saber and is different from the person that pulls the box and ships the saber and is different from the person that puts the shipping label on the box.  We have randomized the entire process.  Just look at the winnings for any needed proof of that.

I don't know how long we will be giving $500, $300, $200 sabers for $75... time will tell.  But I would enjoy it while it lasts and not let a bit of sharpie on the wrapping detract from it.

I also wanted windows on my dominix but honestly now that I have it in my hands I kinda like it. It works especially well for me because that is where my main choke point is so it wouldn't be showing that much anyways and I like the plain round grip. I think its just part of the fun since you get to adapt to a saber with options you probably wouldn't have gotten on your own

Is it possible to upgrade soundboards through ultra sabers? I wouldn't mind changing my V3 to a V4 board

All you'll need to do once you receive the swatchbook is cut the color gel into a circle or similar shape. There's lot of colors you can experiment with. The only ones that are difficult showing up in your ultrasaber are reds and darker shades of colors. Good luck!

I've put a video in the review section, but for the sake of completeness my $75 hilt was an Apprentice LE with Adegan Silver blade, and a Sentinel LE with lite sound and a Blazing Red blade, a beautiful complimentary pair (blade colours aside... may have to turn the Apprentice red somehow).

I meant to post tuesday when I received my second mystery box, but I have had a lot of issues with my menderes disease this week and have been having pretty bad vertigo all week, haven't even got to play with my sabers much. Anyhow, I am doing better today so...I ordered a second mystery box, this time went with the 75$ box, and to my surprise, I got a Sentinel LE v4 with premium v3 sound, av switch, and rechargeable batteries in CG. Love it, now if I can only refrain from doing it again, lol. I will post pics when I get time. Ironically I ordered it with a 24 inch blade because I had planned on giving one of my stunt sabers to my daughter, no matter what I got, but then my son wanted my other stunt saber so I gave him my apprentice LE, the funny thing is I had them one in CG and the other in BR, to rep both sides of the force, now I have two sabers with sound, the Sentinel and the Initiate LE, both mystery boxes, and they are CG,and BR respectively,lol.

So I got two $200 mystery sabers, both were pretty exciting to say the least. I now have a total of 36 sabers sitting in my living room. Sounds crazy, I'm getting married soon, so the wedding party (12 total)are all getting Ultrasabers.

The story is that I got my wedding party all stunt sabers, except the best-man and maid of honor. Decided later to get them all at least lite sound. This was the final one I had to get and wanted to get my one groomsman a green saber. The hilt type was written on the paper and I was a little worried about not getting a green saber based on the hilt itself. I have had the saber sitting around for over 24 hours since I received and unboxed it yesterday. I wasn't very hopeful, but with a little bit of luck I end up getting what I wanted:

Had my princess pick me up a Mystery box at Columbus Comic con. Opened my box to see a Dominix LE V4, but no sound and a green led.
While obviously well worth the money, I may have to try my hand again and hope for sound. And then give one to my son for his birthday. If only you could buy an obsidian lite board. Wishes were fishes.

All in all though, it's a handsome hilt. Which forms an interesting contrast to my Aeon LE v3. While disappointed in no sound, at least it has plenty of room in there to build in some if I decide to upgrade it. I kind wonder if I can use the silver AV switch as a momentary if i dont fully depress it...

Yeah I'm gonna just go for me a Mystery Box saber next month, 200 dollar option Ultra Edge Mid Grade blade. Probably wont be dueling much anymore so :P Just wanna see what all the hype is about and to see if the force will favor me for my first and only Mystery Box saber purchase. I'll be getting a separate pommel too in case if its a V4 of some kind with sound

Hi guys! New to the forum and hobby so cheers! I've never had a nice saber and I have always wanted one but always became discouraged after seeing the price tags on some. Well I came across the mystery box and thought, what do you got to lose? I took the gamble and pulled the trigger on a $75 mystery box and all i can say is WOW!!!! Emory and the ultrasaber team have completely exceeded all my expectations!!! So quick shout out to them on an amazing job! I ended up scoring a bellicose with sound AND an emerald driver!! I am beyond stoked that I got such a nice first saber, and all from a $75 mystery box?!?! Now I gotta go order a charger and a blade plug haha thanks ultrasabers you definitely have my business!

Thanks TJ.  As you know or by looking at my signature, I own a lot of the Aeon/Dominix lines.  But the Aeon v4 is a first after using several v4 Initiates.  Haven't had much of a chance yet to actually try it out as just got it yesterday.  First impression is that for me it's definitely a two-hander.  Need to look at my pommel stock for the right one as don't like that standard open ring.  Using a 32" UEMG blade at the moment.  Have not yet discovered the sweet or balance spot.  I tend to like ballast or counterbalance on most of my sabers.  Hand grips on the choke points feel good but will have to be mindful of the edges of the emitter windows as I naturally am using a low to pommel and high emitter hand position.  Likely too high and easier to get struck by opposing blade.

So far have not had any problems with the LITE sound or batteries coming loose.  The silver FoC is quite a nice compliment to the GB blade.  In the past I always go for a dynamic flash color and never silver.  Now I can see why others like it so much.  Boy oh boy that bright white flash can become an asset to the opponent as a closer direct view can be temporarily blinding lol.  :D

I anticipate really enjoying this Mystery Box saber and wanted to try out a LITE sound version which is loud.  The flash was a great bonus.  8)

Just got in a Fulcrum with v3 sound and Emerald from the $75 box, and I thought the Arbiter was huge. This thing is giant!

Ordered two of the $75 Mystery Boxes, just got them yesterday.  One is a Dark Sentinel with Obsidian Lite sound (Blazing Red), and the other is a stunt Dark Initiate LE (Adegan Silver).  Not half bad.

After years of vacillating between one saber design or another, never quite being able to pull the trigger (ignite the blade?), the Mystery Box finally did it for me. Just placed a $75 order, knowing full well that I'll use it as an excuse to order a custom saber in the future. I think one of the reasons I've held off so long is that I know I'm a collector, nothing ever stops at just 1. I'm sure many here can relate.

Even if I were to get the most basic saber offered with a blade color I'm not crazy about, I'd be thrilled. Any situation where "worst case scenario" is still a win is a positive in my book. Can't wait to see what I get!

I really want to get another with sound myself, though I'm thinking of eventually trying to wire a sound card in my Dominix, maybe a LITE, or I'll be cheap and just gut a Hasbro. lol

And I'm now definitely set on getting a Phantom Initiate V4 LE for my Darth Zannah cosplay.

Does anyone know if there has actually been a diamond controller yet? I see quite a few Emerald with sound, and Diamond isn't that far off in price by comparison.

Looks like Dominix v4 is my fate. I placed a second order, this time for one with sound. So, of 4 75$ mysteries, I got 2 dominix v4 in red, 1 initiate v4 in violet, 1 apprentice v4 in green. 1 200$ dominix v4 in blue with lite sound and white FOC. All with AV switches. I'll likely do some leather wrapping etc and part with a few. Keep the blue and violet. Add some Hasbro sound to the violet.

I got a Sentinel V4 GB Lite Sound.

The odd things are the label on the brown wrapping said it had Premium V3 w/rechargeables & when I use it my hands are covered in a shiny black coating like I've been handling graphite powder. I've rubbed it down well with no marks left on the rag but it still messes up my hand

My mystery boxes arrived yesterday. My $75 box is a Sentinal V4, no windows in fire orange and non-illuminated silver AV switch. My $200 box is a Dominix v4, no windows with premium sound, black non-illuminated AV switch with a single red led. I already own a Dominix LE v4 and Aeon v4 both with Windows and was hoping for a different hilt or at least if it was another Dominix v4 or Aeon V4 no windows. So I am happy the Dominix V4 has no windows. When I train and duel I like to grip it where the windows are and the windowless version is a little more comfortable for me especially when spinning. I don't want to duel with the sound, so is it possible to put the premium sound and red led in an empty Chosen One hilt? Having never played with the electronics, what is the difficulty level? Oh yeah, I love the fire orange at night. No one I duel with has that color.  ;D

Hi.  Yes it is possible but you will have to do your homework first.  Suggest looking in the Obsidian Section for any subject threads. Also YouTube is a good resource.  Perhaps beyond the weekend after the raffle excitement has decreased, then some of our saber electronic experts will respond to your request.  You could email US to see what the charge would be to send the hilts in for the swap at info@ultrasabers.com .  :)

So UltraSabers makes it very hard to stop buying these mystery boxes,  I just got my second 75 dollar box and I scored a black reaper stunt hilt in fire orange.  with a silver switch about 167 dollar value for 75.  while its not as good as my first 75 dollar in terms of value as my archon v2.1 with obsidian sound, this is a hilt I have always wanted and I am more than pleased.  I will post picks later!l

Okay, I got my mystery boxes and I am super happy with the results, I just can't tell which saber is the $75 one and which is the $200 one, because they both came out more than high enough to qualify for the $200 mystery box. 

Saber 1: Dark Apprentice V4 with black AV switch and lite sound in green with silver flash on clash, no windows, normal pommel, Basically $220.
Saber 2: Chosen One SE with Emerald Driver, initially phasing between 2 shades of blue and silver flash on clash and I think Obsidian Sound, but I don't know which version, it seems like everything else on it was standard options, and no windows, but still is basically ether $440 or $450 depending on obsidian version.

All in all, $275 for $670ish, I consider myself pretty darn lucky.

best way to tell is if has mute in the sound settings.

In that case, it probably doesn't matter which is which.  You scored either way.  :D

As I eagerly await delivery of my first mystery box tomorrow a question came to mind.  Is the Electrum Wind part of the possible hilt pool?  I looked through the post but I don't remember seeing anyone who has gotten one.

All hilts are possible, I don't know if anyone has gotten one yet.

When you say a duelling pair did they come with the shorter, stronger blade? I opted for the 36 inch on the one I purchased. I'm not going to be hitting anyone (too hard) with it, not like the guys in some of the videos I've seen. They're fencing with a hint of baseball! Fingers crossed for a blade of the same length on my raffle win, if not it's no big deal as they're obviously interchangeable. I nearly went for the 40 inch but the postage on that to the UK was tipping me over my original budget.

I just opened my first mystery box and I am very happy with what I got.  I am happy to be the new owner of an Apprentice LE v4, with premium sound and rechargeable batteries.  It has a silver activation switch and no emitter windows.  The blade length is 32" with a pointed tip and the color is consular green. 

As this is my first US lightsaber I was not sure what to expect.  But I am really impressed by the look, feel and overall quality of the hilt and blade.

Man everyone is getting their sabers and they all look and sound like they are amazing I can't wait for mine to show up today hopefully here soon.

Yeah I'm pretty sure this thread is heavily skewed towards people posting about their awesomely lucky pulls as opposed to overall distribution reality.  I know personally I was happy with the dark sentinel stunt I got mainly because my son loved it so much, but I haven't posted any pics because it is just not as awesome as some of the pulls on this thread.  I don't mean this in a bad way, I congratulate the ones that really got excellent deals, but as a warning I say take this thread with a grain of salt because you are more likely to post here if you got something awesome than if not, I am sure.

I got a Dark Apprentice, no sound, Blazing Red, no windows. Sound would have been nice, but I wasn't really expecting it. Also, I had no real preference between Sith and Jedi, but having this saber, in my gut I think I prefer the light side. That's what custom orders are for, though! I'm VERY impressed with the overall quality. My Mystery Box may not have been a "score," but I'm still loving it!

Not only what you stated but in general on any forum the people that post are a small % of who is buying and using the product.

I totally didn't expect or even think I was going to get sound with my $75 box, that's the reason I also got the $200 box, I wanted another saber with sound.

It is a Dark Sentinel in BR with black AV and windows.  Immediately scooped up by my son who traded me his Dark Sentinel LE in DVA with windows.  He is a big Deadpool fan so he loved the colors and for some reason this saber is lighter than the LE.  I have no idea why.  We are both very happy and celebrated with a saber battle that I will talk about on another thread.  :D

Sweet!  I love it.  I gave you a light side point for the share, since you said you prefer that side.  It's a score in that you love it and the saber would have cost you more in the store with that switch and what looks like a full size blade.


Looking great, I love the Dark Sentinel.  Sorry to hear about your car troubles, though.  Does the LE have a heavy grade blade?  That could be why it's heavier.

An Arbiter is a fantastic win! I have the regular and dark versions and adore them! Gotta love that grenade grip, right? For a larger handed person they're especially easy to wield.

Also, I would say he's only safe through Sept. With people ordering sabers for Halloween costumes, and then Christmas/Star Wars season, US gets slammed hard in the latter months of the year.

This is the craziest story. So a few weeks ago, I was building my dream light saber, it was going to be a Lost Grey with v4 sound and it came to about 360$, but I decided to go against that because I felt like it was too much money for me to be spending right now with my current situation. So I went with a mystery box instead! The $75 one, and I fully expected after a week of waiting to get a stunt saber, convincing myself it would be so I wouldn't be disappointed and I'd still love it. Turns out, I got a Lost Grey with premium sound!!!! I can't believe this like, what are the odds?! I couldn't be happier, thanks Ultrasabers!! Will post a picture later!

My two $70 boxes came today. Both Apprentice V4s, both silver, both with silver non-illuminated AV switches. One was LE, one have a vents. I wrapped parts of the vented one with electrical tape to make it less monochromatic. Sadly these make the 4th and 5th silver blades I own, so for now they're being color disc'd to red and purple, rounding out my collection to 6 functioning weapons. I got these as loaners so they'll see some action tonight.

I'm going 75 dollar option since that seems to be getting the biggest sabers out anyway along with my Bane order next month. Really hoping for something good for it'll be a new signature saber for awhile :P My bane will also keep me happy though so :P

If I got say a Blazing Red Lost Gray 'd be stoked for sure :P With sound of any kind even. That'd be a sweet one for sure If I ever got that lucky. If Lite though its going back right away for a V3 install at least or V4 if I can manage that. I got an extra Heavy Grade blade from an older saber so I'll probably just swap blades out from time to time, going with Ultra Edge Mid Grade stock so

So both stunt sabers but very happy with them nonetheless.

Noted but in all honesty I don't think Ultrasabers has anything to worry about, especially in terms of competition.
Those two non-US sabers are only 2 of 5 [non-US I obought] that are still functioning, the others all broke within a year [3 months for one].
Yet my Ultras are still here, still functioning and just as good as ever.

Here is an updated version of the Bellicose that I received in the $200 M-box.  Well it was a toss up as to which saber belonged to each box.  After talking to that Scottish rogue c3p-oates... I remembered a certain pommel that was part of a higher end grab bag promotion that was on a saber that our greatly missed buddy JediXIX received.  I commented on how much I liked it and my dear pal sent it to me from Aussieland.  On it's own it's kind of a big and heavier pommel... but paired with the right saber... hmm.

As far as I know he's doing well and is just very busy with family, work related projects and trying to fit in some rest and relaxation times.  His lack of presence is really noticeable and I hope he returns to his saber family soon.  :)

That pommel in itself is big.  Needs a heftier or wider saber to be a good match.  Almost feels heavier than the Belli with the blade attached.  But I am happy to have this likely unique prototype ?!  :)

Since this pommel is a bit of a " mystery " here is the top part.  I have put in a black foam insert to block most of the vents to decrease the sound in the apartment.  With the Guardian neck there is a really cool sort of circular resonance sound chamber.  Don't know how I scratched the pommel but an easy fix.  I'm liking my sabers not so pristine lately.  :)

Yeah, it looks quite heavy. Balance must be odd on that Bel, it's a rather light saber (watch that pun ;D)...

I always tend to like my sabers bottom heavy or with ballast.  If they ever made this pommel available I would get a few and color in the lines with a metallic enamel paint.

Received my $75 Mystery Box saber -- a stunt Initiate LE V4 in Arctic Blue, windowed emitter and a silver non-illuminated AV switch.! Woot woot! I really love all the silver/gold accented sabers. They're gorgeous... The initiate would be a great hidden saber a Jedi (or Sith) might carry inside his cloak as a backup. Great one-handed and surprisingly still enough room for two handed if you do a baseball bat grip on it:

Thanks a bunch, D7. AB is a beautiful color. I think it looks pretty sharp with the gold accents on that Initiate. That's the base of the saber stand it's sitting in. It's like a shallow cup holder.

I like it. Looks really good in AB. I put a Dark Shock pommel on my Dark Initiate LE v4, and it looks really good. It actually seems to fit the saber almost better than the original. Since you have a Shock LE, you should try the pommel out. Maybe you'll like it as much as me. I also love all your posters.

Just opened my 2nd $75 mystery box.  Received a Standard Aeon V4 with a silver AV switch, no sound.  It came with a 32" mid grade blade in guardian blue.  My daughter has already claimed it lol.

In other news, I finally opened my saber order yesterday. Added a Dark Initiate v4, Blazing Red, a Dark Apprentice saber staff, both in Pyrestone Orange, and my mystery saber, which turned out to be a Sentinel in Arctic Blue. Happy with it since I already like the Sentinel hilt, and I didn't have a saber in any shade of Blue yet. Also, thankfully, it breaks my streak of all of my raffle prizes/grab bag sabers having a Green LED.

Those black hilts sound fantastic - do you happen to have pics of your Dark Apprentice staff? I'd love to see it  8)

My first mystery box was a Dark Sentinel V4 stunt with windows and a black AV switch in GB. At first, I wasn't that thrilled with it, but after breaking down and ordering myself a Reaper (in FO) and seeing what a monster hilt that is, I've come to like the Sentinel for the comfort of the grip. Easy to use with one hand or two (where the Reaper really needs two IMHO), it will even work well as an off-hand blade.

My second mystery box should be here today, and I'm giddy with excitement. Will report back when I have it.

Got a stunt Dark Apprentice V4 in GB with black AV switch and no windows. I'm not sure if it is because of how the AV switch is glued in, but a blade plug won't go all the way in (it sticks out about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.) None of my other 4 US have this issue, including my Dark Apprentice LE.   If I was picking my blade colour, I would have picked anything but GB since I have an Aeon with V4 sound in GB. Maybe I will trade it to my son for his stunt CG Initiate LE V3. Not sure of I would do the $75 mystery box again... I think I was too late to the party and all the really good surprises were gone early in the run.

Although purely speculative, from a business and marketing point of view, it makes sense to provide the bigger prizes in the beginning to build the hype and increase orders, then level out and spread them to recoup profits and provide more normal sabers in line with typical margins.  I'm sure there are still big prizes out there but probably not in the high proportion we saw at the very beginning.  If sales of these start to drop though, I would expect the cycle to start over again, that is if this will be a continued option and not a limited time thing as is implied by their email ad saying to get them before they run out.

Obviously the LED is sitting higher up causing the blade plug to stick out.

I'd wager there's a bit too much glue used for the switch and some of it ran towards the emitter and won't let the LED down as far.

As a suggestion - the DIY solution for this is to slide the LED out the top (if the glue isn't holding it in too) and cut away any excess glue.

As long as the battery pack is in all the way there'll be enough wire for the module to slide out.

I got a Reaper in a $200 Mystery Box. While I agree it is a two handed saber as is in going to change my up a little, the actual hilt is not very long.

I really don't think that is the case. For 1 I'm sure only a fraction of the ones bought are by members on the forum, and second people tend to want to share excitement. So you will probably buy % points get more high end winnings posted instead of just over the cost of the box sabers being posted.

But yours and mine are just theories.

got my two mystery box sabers the other day. the 200 $ was a Bellicose lite sound, arctic blue i think. and the 75 $ was a Archon v2.1 arctic blue also. there was no writing on the paper wrap only mike was on both?

I had no idea. Were they selling them as far back as September 2016? That's where I bought my first saber and can't say I remember them being an option.

I first saw them at Comicpalooza in May of this year, but it was a convention thing only back then.

To say I'm disappointed in my $200 Mystery box sabre would be an understatement. It is an Initiate V4 with Lite sound, but I can't tell what colour the blade is, because the batteries it came with are all flat. It also arrived in a triangular Fed Ex box which was basically torn in half - the only thing that was holding the box straight was the blade. I could have bought the same sabre with this set-up for less than $200 ($300 when converted to Australian dollars). First time I've been disappointed by US

I would complain with fed ex on that box condition. I'm sure it's worth more than $200 if you consider all the extra options, windowed emitter? AV switch adds $15 color can add $5

Are the batteries flat? Or did you forget to take the electrical tape off that they put there for storage and transit so the batteries don't drain?

What are the COMPLETE specs on the build so we can actually work out what it's value is? How can you even speculate the value if you haven't even turned it on? It may even have flash on clash!

I'd imagine it's a $225+ (depending on color) saber there! Which is a win in my book!

And btw, exchange rates, postal and duty costs are not Ultra Sabers' fault. That is part of each person's own responsible adult research and budgeting.

I worked out the cost, and it comes in at $199 US - pedantic, I know, but when you get people spending $75 and getting a Diamond Controller V4 sound premium hilt sabre, and you spend $200 and get a basic sound basic hilt sabre (which turns out doesn't work - I removed the tape, bought some new batteries, and nothing), I think I'm entitled to be disappointed.

What's the point of having the 2 different price ranges, if you're just as likely to get a better sabre for $125 less?

If it isn't working you need to contact US because that is a customer service issue. Yes it sucks it arrived not working but considering what the box looks like that may not be US fault at all. But best to discuss it with them.

As far as what you got and being disappointed, the point of a mystery box is that it can be anything right off the cost of the box or more. We all know that going in. So if even if it was working you would be disappointed you went in buying the wrong thing.

The value has to be over $200 so I'm assuming it either has FOC or a upgraded color.

Hence: "Mystery Box."  For everyone who is getting the "premium" sabers, I guarantee you that many more do not; they either are not forum members or do not post for a variety of reasons.  One of the appeals of said Mystery Boxes comes from the probability of getting a saber of higher value.  Regardless, you WILL get at least equal of the cost, all factors considered.  Don't feel like paying full price?  Do what I have done with all my sabers: wait for flash sales, coupons, and raffles.  Or you could just purchase the saber that you really want.

The technical issues are a matter of concern; I would contact US immediately.  From experience, their customer service is exceptional.

The difference is that $200 guarantees you get sound. They never promised anything more than that.

Was thinking of getting another one... then I remember all the money I spent this week while I'm trying to save, and I think I'll hold off for a while...really hoping they don't discontinue before I get another chance!

While I find the thinner neck to be worrisome for its seeming fragility, hence the appeal of the 2.1

So I am customizing my 75 dollar mystery box.  My reaper is now an ancient bone reaper.  It's coming out nicely despite all the headaches I had

I don't find the aesthetic of the thin neck on the 3.1 to be appealing at all. Personally the 3.1 was on the bottom of the list of sabers I would want to own. I absolutely love the feel of the 2.1 and enjoy the lines of the emitter

Point of fact: if I'm doing any heavy dueling I've found my graflex (and more recent acquisition: sentinel) is a great saber to use.

It's a 2.1. I have a 3.1 and I've used it for moderate dueling. I need to get a 2.1 emitter as I'm not a fan of the 3.1. Durability isn't the issue for me though, I cannot find a comfortable grip on it.

Definitely two very nice sabers though Agana. I just ordered my first V4 Initiate with my last order. It's definitely a nice one handed hilt.

I sold my 2.1 after I got my 3.1, i just prefer the thin neck look more.  Both are good sabers though.

Got a $75 mystery box and scored a dark sentinel LE v4 stunt in green with black non illumination AV switch and AAA battery set up.
Happy with the saber, handles nicely.
Already have a gree standard saber so had hoped for a different colour but happy none the less. Could make a staff with those two.
All in all I am pleasedconsidering but will get one of my choosing next.

You will eventually have multiple sabers of the same color if you keep with the collecting so think of it as... a step in the right direction. If you are really unhappy with having 2 green sabers try a color filter to tint or change it. US sells them as well as other non saber sites. I have heard Lee Filters has some sort of swatch book that is nice.

I got the 75$ mystery box, and I'm now the happy possessor of a dark sentinel Lev4 stunt in silver. I love it.
 The funny thing is that when I ordered my first lightsaber ( an initiate V4 with sound ), I couldn't decide between green and silver. My computer kinda messed everything up and I got a green one, even thought I finally chosed silver... ( but it was fine anyway, I really wanted both ). I think I'm gonna call this one "destiny".

I was at Dragon con and watched a lot of mystery boxes get unpacked. I saw dominix's, Aeons, initiates, flamberge, Apprentice's, Standards, Sentinals, Mantis, Archons, and Arbiters all come out of 75$ mystery boxes. I think it is a truly wonderful thing that US is doing. You truly could get almost any saber hilt for 75$. I lucked out and got a hilt i did not have, an archon 2.1. Thank you again US.

I just got back from DragonCon, where I was looking for a saber to purchase.  Unfortunately, they didn't have either of the hilts I was most interested in (Bellicose or Prophecy) so I decided to grab a $200 mystery box.  What I found inside was this:

That's a Bellicose with v4 sound and flash-on-clash.  It originally came in green and I plopped down the money to change that to SRD.  I couldn't be more happy with the score:-)

That's a fantastic 200 box.  I love the bellicose hilt, one of the few hilts that looks great with any blade color IMO.

That was a really lucky pull, since that was one of the two you wanted to purchase.  And, it was really inexpensive for those features.  Congratulations.  :)

I always have mine for gold for kind of an Anakin/classic Graflex kind of feel. Like that's the button color I always go for when I wanna spec out a Bellicose to get some new ideas and stuff

It came with a red decorative button and I didn't think to request a change of that while at the booth.  I do think I would like the gold myself, though.  I already have my room booked for next year so I figure that'll give me something to do when I go back ;-)

I just got a saber with premium sound and LI Ion for $75! Can't figure out pics here though. Charging the batteries now. All I know is it's black and has a windowed emitter.

Sweet!  Dominix V4 with premium sound and windows.  What blade color?  Did you get flash on clash?  Even if you didn't, that's quite the score for $75.

Red I think? Not sure about FOC i don't think so, but batteries  were really dead and I only got about 1 min before it died. Batteries charging now.

Orange! Which is different, though not sure I'm digging it. Also get a random different sound that could be a clash when I smack the hilt, but no flash and not all the time. Second push of activation switch yields a odd clash/clash-ish? sound that keeps going till you push again.

Give the FO a little bit of time. It can take some getting used to, but it is an amazing color. Definitely different, but still beautiful IMO. Also, great grab with that Dominix. I got one as my raffle prize, and it is pretty sweet. vvv

That's the lockup sound.  It's designed to sound like when they have sabers crossed.  It sounds like you don't have Flash on Clash, but that's still a score for $75.

Deleted mine, too. It's too bad, really, but say la vie, right? I honestly hadn't even figured anything out! I'm too terrible with numbers!  :P

I think I'm going to order my MB soon here. Just got some money coming in, and the stuff I'm seeing here is too sweet. It's been so long since I've gotten a new saber, it's about time I treat myself. And I haven't seen any V3 Initiates, which are all I have, so I should get something new.

I got a dominix v4 BR, a dark sentinel v4 BR, a dark initiate v4 LE FO, a dark apprentice LE v4 FO, an initiate v4 LE FO, all will av switch.
I was not very lucky (I don't really like dark hilts) but they are not so bad anyway :).

My daughter has the same saber, but in SRD and with a Renegade SE Small pommel.  Very nice saber!

 Well at least all of your dark hilts came with dark side colors ( BR and FO ) and not Jedi colors ( GB and CG).  :)
  I am not a fan of Dark hilts with Jedi colors, but that's just my personal preference.
 Plus, they would make nice saber staffs.

not sure about that Mav, one of the guys has the dark war glaive in CG, looks impressive to me.
my dark SI is AB and looks great. but, like you said...matter of opinion and taste.

Mike, let me just say that you're missing out  ;). Ordered one and got a Sentinel LE v4 w/ activation switch, emitter windows, emerald green stunt 36" saber.  I have to say that the Sentinel hilt is one of my favorites so I feel extremely lucky  :D.  And all for a bargain $75  ;D

I asked the customer service about a week ago and they said there weren't any plans to stop with the mysterybox anytime soon. Didn't sound like they'd go out of stock.

I got a Dark Apprentice V4  with windows and an AV switch in FO. Nice looking saber but the orange is hard to tell in the daylight/a lit room.

It's actually hard to tell if it is FO or BR. It appears more orangey at the hilt.

Nice grab. It sounds like you might've gotten PO rather than FO, or maybe it is BR. You can usually tell in pictures really easily.

It still looks like Blazing Red.  The spill off has too much of a red tint to be Fire Orange.  Fire Orange is more of a pumpkin orange, whereas Blazing Red is a slightly orange tinted red.  I know, I've gotten sabers with both.  ;)

When I'm recording video the blade appears to be a darker orange but not the yellow of fire orange.

Looks like it might be a red shifted pyrestone orange.  Here's how I can usually tell in person: take the blade off and shine it like a flash light onto a white wall, like 4-6 inches away from the wall so pretty close.  If it is pyrestone orange, you should see a clearly orange ring around the bright red center or vice versa.  If it is just red, it will look like just a dimmer red ring around a brighter red circle in the middle.  If you don't see two different colors when you do this, and I don't mean bright red center and dimmer red outer ring, I mean a distinct orange ring and a clearly red center, then you probably just got blazing red.

Bought my 17 year old son a $75 mystery box saber here at Salt Lake Comic Con. He had to leave early and head back to the hotel room because all the noise and crowds had worn him out (he has Central Auditory Processing Disorder), so kind of similar to autism but without being autistic. It was awesome watching him open it up in the hotel room where none of us knew what it would be and lo and behold it was a SENTINEL with a windowed emitter, V3 Obsidian Premium Sound, midgrade ultraedge blade, silver non-illuminated AV switch, blade retention screw wrench, regular vented pommel with a Blazing Red LED. That's a $231 saber for $75! Heckuva deal! Got to tell Emory thank you in person and wished him well on their journey back to Texas.  :)

That right there is actually an Apprentice LE V4. The Sentinel is a bit longer of a hilt. Still a great pull!

Yep they came with my order for a Sentinel. I actually like the Apprentice much better.

How do I tell the difference between Tri arctic blue and Tri guardian blue?

Tri-arctic blue will have 2 blue leds and one green,  Tri-guardian blue has 3 blue leds.

Two more $75 sabers arrived today. A CG Apprentice with windows and AV, and a BR Apprentice LE with windows and AV.

That brings me to 4 Apprentices from Mystery boxes now, one with sound from a $200 box and three stunts from $75 boxes. Add that to the two Dark Apprentice LEs I bought specifically for a staff for someone, and my own personal Apprentice LE and you have one hell of a collection of fine hilts 8)

I do have to say though, the LE in either Dark or Light has a much nicer grip. I don't like the "standard" version as much as the LE. Just in case no one has ever noticed the difference or doesn't have both to compare

You can see the standard version ridges are rounded, and then the machining to take back the anodizing for the LE version gives them a flat grip area instead.

Isola's top tip: Pay the extra couple buck to get the LE. They look better and feel better!

Stop it!  You're making me want to buy a $75 Mystery Box in hopes that I'll get an Apprentice, when I know the logical course would be to just buy one.  :P  (knowing my luck, I'd get another Sentinel or Aeon in the box and wish I'd just bought the Apprentice)

Nice. I use my Apprentice and Initiate for dual wielding/staff, and because of their length and width, they work perfectly.

Arctic Blue is a lovely blade color

I ordered 8 mystery boxes plus a freeby for being over 650, here's what I got:

I got six aeon and initiate types - 2 silver, 1 orange, 1 red, 2 blue, 2 had windows

Then I got a Bane with green LED and AV switch, very nice!

Also got 2 sabers with sound, an initiate in orange and an aeon in green.

Pretty good haul!

Really killed it on the Aeon/Initiates! Some of my favorite hilts. Not bad 8)

It's the one all the way to the left and I love it, but then again I love all my sabers.  But my reapers are the favorites.  ;)

Worked out good, but I still havent gotten a Shock in the mystery box yet haha I think I'll keep getting em til I find one. Holding a Bane again made me realize just how much I want one though. I sold mine to get a Menace and now I think I need to get another.

Languages fascinate me! Me and several friends I had in my youth all learned Spanish and visited different countries and when we returned found that we were all speaking a different language. What meant something in Mexico meant something entirely different in Spain or Argentina. Yeah we were giggling like a schoolgirl, too, realizing that while we were saying something in one country it was holding a whole meaning for our buddies in the other Spanish speaking countries. My brother-in-law is from England, so I've learned a few differences from him. Like "rude" here in the USA is being harsh and unsympathetic, while "rude" in the UK could mean you have a dirty mind or you're being offensive or vulgar. Chips here are potato chips, chips there are like fries here. Biscuit here is a cookie there. Shag here is carpet, while there... well, you know.  Anyway, I digress because I'm steering off topic.

Got a consular green Aeon LE V4, so I'm quite pleased! I can't figure out all of the codes on the brown paper though and it's killing me:

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this haul.
Probably going to see about getting some color discs to play with the blade colors a bit, but I received two solid stunt sabers and a heavily discounted lite sound saber.

I guess I forgot to post.. I was a little surprised in that the color is Chancellor Green. A nice color, but one not normally associated with Dark Saber's.

Congratulations - Love green! Around these parts you'll find a mix of light side/dark side happens quite often... It's surprising how well they work together. It's because of what I've seen others do that I ordered mine specifically with that mixture in mind.

That TRI Arctic Blue is so freaking beautiful, and the sound font I have on that Episode II Sound Font I have enabled on it is so powerful sounding when it powers on plus the fact that the Prophecy's shorter design makes for a very loud power on sound. All sabers look amazing out in the dark, but the TRI Arctic Blue is just incredible.

So I've been thinking about going as a Sith or Jedi for Halloween for a couple of years now and decided this was the year so I started researching Lightsabers and came across the Mystery Box. My daughter didn't know what she wanted to be so I said how about we get two of these and see what we get? For ONCE she like my idea  ::)
We were so excited when we opened our $75.00 Mystery boxes that I started shaking when I saw "The white label of awesomeness"  :D
We were like, Sith or Jedi, let the Sabers decide!
We received a Dominix LE V4 in Chancellor Green (my daughters) and (drum roll please  ;D ) a Sentinel LE V4 also in Chancellor Green with Obsidian sound and rechargeable batteries! Whoooo Hoooo! Thank you Ultra Sabers for the best Halloween ever!
She really wanted Red and I wanted Violet (but no complaints about these) so when the warranty runs out I will most likely order new LED's and swap them out. Now the costumes!

At Wizard World in Chicago this year I got a Dark Mantis with sound in red.  Very excited.  Last week I order two.  One of the two mystery box sabers that arrived was an identical Dark Mantis with sound in red!!!! Contemplating either getting a coupler and making an interesting staff saber, or giving one each to my nephews for Christmas to duel with their favorite uncle!   ;D
