Title: Flamberge review and video review
Post by: whitmers on August 12, 2017, 03:22:13 PM
So I have picked up a flamberge and have been using it in my saber classes as a different style of combat for my students to get used to (and my summer camp kids really get a kick out of crossguard style saber).  It's sturdy and the long blade feels very much like a two handed sword and works well with those techniques. I got it in the stunt form, because I am beating the heck out of it. It's nice that it has plenty of space for a sound install in case I ever chose to do so. I also do appreciate the fact that it is mhs compatible, so that leaves me with a bunch of options for further customization. It's a solid buy for a very duel ready saber.

Thanks guys. It isn't my normal saber style, but I did something different!

@tx_tuff

Here is a link to some of the videos, on the groups facebook page. Poke around if you wish. I haven't been as good about taking videos lately. I need a videographer!

Pretty cool, thanks for the link. Looks like you like to teach a lot of head kills. I like it.
