Any single color yet equipped with emerald? Does that mean single blade as in no flamberge etc?

huh. Well. That does sound like a contradiction. I assume it means any two lightsaber with Obsidian sound and 4-channel Emerald driver. But if you really want to know, I would ask Customer Service.

Of course, they do this the day AFTER I order up a Consular for customizing.....

You enter the code before you actually check out, like in the left box before checking all the way out. Like in the cart there's a box where you can put sale/raffle codes in so, if its not too late you can still enter that in

The order comments box is on the page where you enter shipping and credit card information. It's the text box above the "terms and conditions" box you have to tick.

If you missed it, send info@ultrasabers an e-mail with your order number, forum username and a brief description of what happened and ask them to enter you manually.

HUGE fence sitter right here... I can't decide either. Haven't tried the 10% off code yet, but if I were to enter, it would probably be for duel Menace's in TRI Blazing Red, ordered separately, of course, to maximize raffle entry chances.

One of my biggest obstacles right now is the fact that next week is "Spooktacular Week", a yearly event done by a certain collectibles company from which I now have a sixth scale (Sith Scale :)) Darth Vader. There will be "opportunities" to "acquire" some amazing collectibles next week during Spooktacular, which will run 24/7, so I'm really torn because I've had the Menace staff patiently waiting on my wishlist for some time - time will tell.

I tested it last night and it worked for me, but then again I never completed the check out because I have already spent too much on sabers this year (at least according to the wifey)   ::)

I've tracked my wishlist Diamond Azure Menace for months now and 15% Sound sales is the best price for it, followed by Saber Maynia, followed by 10% off sales (but this is the first I have seen coupled with a raffle, US knows how to tempt a person).  However if it ever goes on 20% flash sale, it is mine regardless, and I will hide it away until it is safe from judging/nagging eyes.  But I have tracked flash sales too, and the azure version of anything is never on them.  :-\

I think I'll get my first Sith saber: Dark Sentinel with emitter windows, Renegade (small) pommel, and illuminated switch (red, natch  ;)) with BR blade.  On that last, which blade produces a deeper red: regular or UltraEdge?

BTW LB: awesome looking robes in your sig!  Might I ask where you got them from?

Definitely the regular will give you more of a "pure" red, because there is no diffusing happening without the extra UltraEdge layer, but Blazing Red is still more of a fire red (slightly tint of orange in there) than a deep red. I used a Lee Filter on mine to filter out the orange on my Chosen One, and it worked really, really well.  It's also the TRI Cree Blazing Red, so that helped, too.

My wife made that robe for me. It's a heavy cotton, so it drapes really well, but it can also be hot, so I usually only wear it outside, like on Halloween. It's just too hot for indoors, like Comic Con, otherwise I'm just a giant drop of sweat walking around.  :D

I just know at this point that too many sabers for me anyway is too many to try and keep up with you know, if that makes sense

Is the 10% off "all sabers" not working on the mystery boxes?

The homepage states plainly (though smaller type) that it doesn't apply to mystery boxes.
There at the bottom right.

Yeah, I was getting the codes from the first post here and literally just saw that on the homepage and was coming back here to edit my post to say as much. :)

Welp, I'm in now. Decided to go with a Emperor's Hand stunt and a $75 mystery box. :D Hoping I can swap the Obsidian Lite board from my Dark Initiate into the EH later. That'd be awesome, although warranty voiding lol

So this question was asked elsewhere and is pretty important: has anyone ever won but also had an entry-order ship before the raffle was over?

The last raffle was my first one. I saw others being their orders shipped but yet mine wasn't so I reached out to US. US told me that orders made during the raffle will be held until the raffle was over, and that winners are not drawn until the raffle is done.

I also brought it up on the forums and was spanked on the hand and told I was asking a customer service question and that is not allowed in the forums.

So I will just add be patient (I know that is very hard to do) and cross your fingers and toes. And last but not least, good luck!

Well that’s just it - both my entry orders HAVE shipped as others. So we are just worried it somehow spells doom for our chances.

Prizes are just that. We all need to accept not winning. It's not like it's the same as losing. You still get what you ordered...and the rest is a maybe. It doesn't matter if a computer somewhere is picking the winner on the last day or as they're ordered. It won't change the prize or who wins. There are other reasons to hold an order. So orders held aren't guaranteed a win. And maybe orders sent don't mean it's not a win.

I did not get an email asking to hold mine nor did I tell them too. I just ordered to enter the raffle since I was eventually going to order one anyway. They made mine and it arrived today. Marlena said she had my username for the raffle after emailing it to her when I did not realize it went in the comments section upon ordering. New to the raffles so I don't know if I am still in or out. I would have been fine with them holding the order. I was in no rush to get it.

I got the email from Emory yesterday, which I took as excellent customer service. He said that with Halloween so soon, he wanted to make sure it was ok to hold the order. And I can see how somebody might take this opportunity to upgrade a Halloween costume or add a nice saber to one, so not having it in time could be an issue! I'm not really clear on how they need to hold them, unless it's just to save on shipping ( but really, that's kind of a small savings comparatively ), but i'm ok with it.

It will suck HARD to have to wait almost 3 weeks for my Hand, but that gives me more time to practice my shoto work with my two dark apprentices.

Thinking of doing the same thing actually. My holy grail will be the Monarch CE I have planned =] The Bane will be my second holy grail :P I'll have plenty of cool sabers then so. I do have plenty of blue bladed sabers too though so :P

Yes they do. You reply to the e-mail you receive and ask what options you have for upgrades and a list of costs. They will sort you out :)

What does "single color" mean in reference to the Emerald driver, I thought Emerald allowed you to change the colors?
"Any two" - I get the intention is to created a coupled double bladed saber, but does that mean two of the same hilt, or could the winner(s) choose different hilts?
And what does "emerald drivers of your choice" mean? I've been looking around but either I just can't see it or I can't find a descriptive post about what all the emerald driver does. Please pardon my newbie ignorance. :)

single color means your start off pre-programmed color. (yes, you can change it after) yes, you can pick 2 different hilts. full sentence explains 2 hilts of a predetermined start color w/ emerald drivers....you choice of hilts.

Ignore "single color" that's just because the copy and paste is strong with Deep. The important parts are YES you can select ANY two hilts be it the same hilt or two different ones. The "choice" of Emerald Driver is in regards to RGBA or RGBW, again you can pick both the same or one of each.

As for "single color" in regards to the other hilts it means a non mixed LED. So if you wanted Arctic Blue you would have to pay the $5 upgrade fee, but the standard colors are included in as part of the prize.

What options do these winners get to select?  (i.e. battery options, chargers, blade length and grade)
What does "single color Ultrasabers" mean?

I understand that you get to pick which colour it starts with you can change later with the diamond controler. Basicly the top winners get to build their own blades.
Someone let me know if Im wrong or right.

If it's emerald, then yes you should be able to change the color.  Which is why emerald sabers saying "single color" confuses me.

You get to select ALL the options, but it works like this:

What you get as a prize is the basic default choice of everything in the saber builder menus in the store. Any extras that would normally cost more, can be purchased to add to your prize. IF you are a raffle winner you will receive an e-mail from Ultra Sabers saying you are a winner and of what prize level. If you reply to that e-mail and ask to pay for upgrades they will work with you to take payment and add the upgrades to the hilt.

If you win the top prize you get an e-mail asking you to select the two hilts and let them know what ones. Same deal again, you reply to that with what hilts you want and what upgrades you want and they will work with you to build your ultimate hilts. You can also pay to upgrade to Diamond if you so wish.

In seriousness, thanks for your answers.  I'm both happy and sad by the explanation, however.  Happy because I know I can get exactly what I want (and partly because what I want is a diamond saber, which isn't exactly the offer).  Sad because the net cost of the features I want over a stock Emerald + Sound saber would cost me $160.

In case you're wondering, the features include illuminated AV switch, recharge port, and heavy grade blade upgrade.

Thought about getting a new Manticore (I do miss my Manticore, it's such a nice looking hilt to display), but they're sold out of the low profile pommel which I much prefer.

Just my complete guess but it's seems, from my observation, that Ultrasabers specifically does this to reward its loyal members and keeps increasing rewards every time. Pretty cool.

Just received an email from US stating that my second order has shipped. My first order is still being held. The order was eligible for the Autumn Raffle. I contacted US for clarification. I was informed that I still have 2 tickets in the raffle and that US is just clearing out some space to make some room. I am new to US and the forum and was wondering if anyone else has had experience with this. I was under the impression that all eligible orders would be held until after the 13th. Thanks a ton for any input.

That's the line I got as well.  3 of 4 orders I've made have shipped, and was done so because "we can't even walk around in our warehouse until we ship some orders out".

They're keeping orders because they want to save on shipping by keeping things in less boxes, but they're shipping orders so they can get more orders processed.

I had four entries for the last raffle, two of them shipped and two were held. It's all good :)

My order clearly has not volunteered as tribute. :(

I think it's more likely that if you have multiple orders, then you'll find a few (but not all) will ship, so they can keep at least one order to make shipping easier if you win.

I think in some cases they ship stuff out when they need to make space; I'm pretty sure I won once after an early shipping, and I'm in the UK. It's cheaper to keep the boxes around, sure, but if they're about to spill out into the parking lot, then better to free up some space - especially with a few days still to go! ;)

I'm always glad to see more Diamond purchasers because I was kind of worried it wouldn't be worth it, but people seem to be really appreciative and I'm excited.

I feel I got literally everything I wanted in a top-line lightsaber in my Guardian EXCEPT a recharge port, it's a big extra jump. It won't be a big problem unless I want to use it as interior lighting, I expect, as long as I'm careful with the battery pack?

Well I don't care about my odds but I am super excited and we are getting down to the wire. I just couldn't resist the temptation of this raffle and had to become part of the community.

We have one, a Dark Sentinel LE in BR with an Archon pommel.  Its very nice, but I do prefer the "light" colors.  Blues and greens and yellows...  And it was time to add VA.  :-)

I wasn't sure if I should break up my orders into orders of ~250 to get more raffle entries, but I decided to go for bigger orders to get some free mystery box sabers.

I've gone both ways a number of times, and haven't ever been one of the lucky few.  So these days I just go with a single entry each Raffle, and I leave it and my hopes at the door lol

It's hard to split an order up though, when they dangle all the free extras in front of you - especially hard to say no to the free Mystery Saber - I did that during the Summer Raffle, and now I'm addicted to Mystery Boxes.  Ordered 3 with some peripheral goodies for the current raffle.  If nothing else it'll allow me to have a handful of sabers I can hand out for Christmas lol

So juiced to be able to enter this year's raffle. Entered last year and bought myself a Guardian - Emerald/Obsidian V4 and was fortunate enough to win a third place Li-on stunt saber!

I rarely even touch my MR and Has Sig sabers... even have a staff from those park dudes

In truth when I got the sabers in the mail the Guardian completely overshadowed the Liberator V3 (stunt/Li-on/consular green) that I won and i was actually a little disappointed at first. The Guardian being my favorite saber didn't help, but as time went on The Liberator V3 grew on me and is now one of the top 3 sabers I own (13 sabers from MR to Has Sig and even a staff from those park dudes). I let my 4 yr old play with it and don't really worry if he drops it (battle damage!), as far as he is concerned it is his saber lol I keep a 24" blade in there for him (very light). This time around I got me a Fulcrum - Emerald/Obsidian V4 and would LOVE to win a second Liberator V3 ... Im thinking staff with 24' blades and a quick-release coupler! Don't get me wrong I am hoping for that Emerald prize as I am sure we all are! But I'll be happy with my Fulcrum on one hip and guardian on the other if I am not lucky enough to win this go-round... could always use another saber next year... prepares wallet for abuse...

Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone luck! Can't wait to see the awesome sabers everyone (and hopefully me too) wins this year, may the force be with you!

I'm totally weak. I didn't sleep last night, so I'll sleep like the dead tonight and wake up to *crosses fingers* good news in the morning. :)

The chosen one has been my top priority hilt for a while, so glad to have it ordered and on the way.  Can't wait to see pics of everybody's sabers.

I slept wrong last night and my back hurts.  Is it a better idea to get more sleep tonight (and potentially make it more worse) or to get less sleep and hope my back works itself out?

I also went for my dream saber after seeing the Fulcrum on the Flash Sale 20% off.
Also for the first time ever my 10 year old daughter is into something with me "Ultrasabers" so I secretly ordered the saber we built together for her Christmas. I told her that I wanted to see what saber she would build like I did mine :)

Nice one James! I was torn between a fully loaded Fulcrum and a couple of Stunt Brood Guards for my raffle entry! I was going back and forth between different versions of the Brood Guards and the Fulcrum for over 2 weeks! Different blade colors, lengths, sound?, Emerald? before I ended up going with the Fulcrum but I can definitely see a pair of these in my future... Settling on either an SE in Arctic Blue and LE in Pyrestone Orange or 2 SEs in Arctic Blue and Sentinel Yellow.

Brood Guard has only been out for a few days  ::)

I agree, I think SRD looks great on a dark hilt.

It's my favorite US color.  I think it looks good on any color hilt.

The Catalyst is a fantastic hilt, one of my favorites.  Very comfortable to hold and easy to use. Awesome saber choice!

I guess it paid off! WOW! I usually do wait until the end of a sale just in case there's a flash sale, DOTD, or just because I'm deciding whether or not to get in on a particular sale, aka will it be the best sale I might see for a while. For this raffle, it DEFINITELY was the right one to get in on!

Awesome! I'm REALLY excited to get it! I've wanted it as a holy grail saber for a long time! Now being a winner, I have to decide what two hilts I'm going to get after getting my holy grail saber.

My wife and I just ordered our very first sabers for a "sun sword" HEMA-based class we're taking together in January.
We could only justify the basic stunt sabers (with a little cosmetic flair) STOKED to get to try out the Emerald and sound.

I never win this sort of thing. So grateful!

Side note:
I wonder if any of the drivers would be transferable to the Dominix LE v4 I ordered if I end up liking that hilt better. Not complaining in the least, just curious. I love to tinker with this sort of thing and don't often get the chance.
