I ordered the Dark Prophecy and using the 25% discount, I was able to upgrade nicely. The only snag was when I went to put in the summerraffle code, it wouldn't allow the code to be entered after the flash25 code.

My raffle goal is 2nd place minimum, but whatever is clever and I'm not getting my hopes up too high. At the very least, I finally got a Dark Prophecy! And my first with sound to boot!

I received my tracking notice already, although I sprang for USPS Priority Mail, it's getting sent UPS ground...sigh...I hope everything else is as it should be, but now I have to wait till Tuesday to get it.

Yeah, it's UPS SurePost. That's where UPS brings it most of the way and your local mail carrier does the final delivery. Both of my recent orders have been shipped this way, despite picking Priority Mail. They finally changed the shipping options on the website to reflect the change in how they're doing it. But, I wouldn't worry if I were you. I haven't had any problems with UPS shipping my sabers yet, and they have the best tracking in the business.

got my lost gray on flash sale, last promo i ordered the fulcrum (being delivered on Saturday) and i am planning to enter this raffle with a bellicose. if i win, I'll get the raven and either an azure dorinian or a crimson menace. with the fulcrum, my collection is fleshing out fairly well, for a start. i only have 7 sabers, but they are all pretty cool.

Why won't it let me apply any coupon codes?

I did the summerraffle code, and then entered the flash25 code on my order, and it took the flash25 but not the raffle code.

So, I emailed US and talked to Marlena and she manually put me in the raffle.


Also, do not forget to put your Forum name in the comment box when you check out.

If you use any existing deals like the flash sale, the system won't allow you to enter the raffle.  You have to contact customer support and talk to Marlena.

25% off is its own reward, so it makes sense that you can't enter other coupon codes with a Flash sale.

I wound up ordering using paypal instead, I emailed in about the amazon issue for anyone it might help.  Pretty sure the note is just prt of the shipping info which gets replaced when in amazon payment.

Really excited about this raffle!  Just ordered my FIRST Ultrasaber!  It was the Crimson Scorpion, with the Tri-Orange color blade!  It was a present from my wife for our 25th Wedding Anniversary!  Some men want Motorcycles, others want Cars.....I opted for the Ultrasaber!   

Nothing says "I Love You" like an Ultrasaber!

I've played with my nephew's ultrasabers, and knew that I had to get one for myself!

My Apprentice LE v4 just came in this morning and it’s amazing! The quality of the hilt and the default obsidian sound fonts for the v4 are above my expectations. Only issue is I have a chrome book laptop and will need to get a Mac or Microsoft computer to load the launcher 😭 will post pictures later

Well, I managed to sneak into the raffle this time. I hardly ever enter these, usually due to finances. But, thanks to the 10% sale and free shipping, I was able to order a saber I've been wanting, with the features I wanted, without killing my bank account.

Somehow managed to get into this with the Lost Grey that I've been waiting forever to get. Surprisingly didn't murder my bank account despite me being a poor college student. Hoping to win something out of this, but I'll still be extremely pleased having both the Fulcrum and Lost Grey at long last.

It depends what you mean by saving money. ;) If you mean saving on sabers, there's no better place to do that than Ultrasabers. I guarantee you I couldn't get a hilt like the one I ordered for the raffle with the options I ordered for the price anywhere else. It's one of the "medium" priced sabers, so I was able to get premium sound, a mixed blade color, AV switch and a heavy grade blade and not clean out my bank account. Plus, if you're really strapped for cash, then there are always stunts and Lite sound. I've entered two raffles previously, both with stunts.  8) Then there are also less expensive hilts. I was thinking of doing a Dark Liberator with V4 sound and a Tri CREE, until I realized that I could get a saber with a starting price of $159 and get that with Obsidian and some other nice features. I also skipped some features, like a charger, since I have one, as well as going with a two die color rather than a Tri, V3 sound instead of V4 and skipping flash on clash. So, it's just about knowing how to save money when ordering, and resisting the urge to check every box as far as features. ;)

As for saving money, as in setting some back for future purchases, I'm not that good that that. Plus, management where I work didn't help my raffle cause. They cut my hours a couple weeks ago, so I put in for a vacation day to offset the loss in hours. Well, they never approved the vacation day, so Thursday's paycheck was a bit lean.  ::)

I am so broke right now, I can't even afford to pay attention. :P

It is always a struggle when the raffles come up. The fact that so many great deals are always included make it difficult. I am hopeful my luck changes on this one. Either way I am looking forward to my FO Specter.

That's usually where I find myself when these raffles come around. It's a struggle sometimes to scrape up $250 USD for an entry. It's a really good deal, considering the possibilities, but still a rough number to hit at times.

Well I am in on this one with a Fulcrum, SD, and V4 sound.

I was referring to saving money in regards to daily life and the adulting aspects.  One of those scenarios where you tell yourself, ok, let’s save up for this vacation or something else but then I get on this forum and see the summer raffle or find out about flash sales and my mind is saying “oooo squirrel!”.  The next thing I know l, I’m building a saber or adding parts to my wishlist.  Haha

Your points are valid though, my builds are dependent upon the specific saber and my wants and needs.  For the most part, unlike to build them myself and there are a few things that I may need need or I have parts that I can throw in myself. This hobby is dependent on the individual and his or her finances so there’s really no wrong way of going about it

I just want to say that no matter how many sabers one has and orders that one has made...  unless you are really clear on the saber or parts that you want the final decision is really difficult.   :-\

The shock for me and other internationals is the currency conversion and shipping cost... and then custom fees and taxes.   Therefore one must choose wisely.  :)

Does the summerraffle coupon code include all the other coupon codes as well that apply or just each one be entered individually?

Hi.  Each coupon that you earn must be entered manually when you check out.  Be sure to place your forum name in the white space for order comments prior to the final stage of making your payment.

If for some reason you enter a coupon and you have not made a sufficient purchase for that level... a reminder notice will come up informing you that the coupon was deleted.  You can then go back and place more purchases in your cart and re-enter the coupon.  You will not get the coupon benefit if you forget to claim it.  :)

I ended up finally joining my first raffle.  :D

I took advantage of the fact that my sister's boyfriend was really intersted in getting himself a lightsaber. He got the Manticore with LITE sound, in Guardian Blue, Flash on Clash Silver, Standard Setup, 36" UltraEdge Midgrade Blade, Low Profile Pommel, with Blue Illuminated Silver AV Switch. I completed the order by getting myself my first Mystery Box (200$ Guaranteed sound). All the ones I was most intersted in were a little too expensive for my current situation. Hopefully I'll get one of these and/or win something great in the raffle but I'll be happy anyway I'm sure.

Omg, this is my first UltraSabers raffle and I am as thrilled as I am for my new upcoming lightsaber, the Spectre in TriCree Arctic Blue!  Love this lightsaber and when UltraSabers came out with it I knew I had to get it.  Having the raffle, there's no holding back.  Now with the Spectre I guess I must relinquishing my Sith status and join the rebellion.  May the force be with y'all.

No unfortunately I ordered earlier.  Still not bad though with the other sales.

Tomorrow is the big day!  Anyone have any plans in mind already if they win one of the top 4 big prizes?  If I were to get the 2 single color sabers, I think I would go for the menace staff for the darth maul effect.  With Emerald, I might get away from the staff direction and get a couple of more crazy ones.

If I were to win a top prize, my two choice ultrasabers would be:
1) The Emperor's Hand, (with Red Blade) and
2) The Electrum Wind (with Violet Blade)
 
I bought my first Ultrasaber to enter the drawing, and I was torn between those 2 sabers and the Crimson Scorpion.  I picked the Crimson Scorpion with a Fire Orange Blade and sound, and have been enjoying the saber immensely!

Right there with you. I've been checking the forum and my email every few minutes since I got out of the clean rooms about 2 hours ago (can't access internet while in there).

They'll post when they're ready. It's about quarter to seven in the morning where they're located in Texas.

Also, not to burst any bubbles, but it took 2 or 3 days to notify and post the winners in the first 2016 Summer Raffle.

I'm a little anxious too! I looked at the last raffle in spring and they posted the results at about 12 so I assume it'll be about the same time? I doubt it'll be too late in the day anyway hopefully.

Agreed, the suspense for everyone and myself is great.  I think being able to share the excitement and what sabers we ordered to get into the raffle is what really makes it fun.  Being apart of the experience together and seeing how people build their sabers in accordance to their personality and traits along with watching who's going to win is awesome!

Couldn't agree more! Every time I order a saber, especially with the extra time to Canada, it's agony waiting for it to arrive. Adding the raffle in just makes it seem like time stands still!

This was my raffle entry, and FIRST Ultrasaber ever!  The Crimson Scorpion!  It was a tough choice between it and the Emperor's Hand, but I think I made the right choice!
I got it with Tri-Fire Orange light, Obsidian Lite Sound, and a Heavy Blade for fighting with my nephews (who all have their own Ultrasabers!)

Congrats, I love the Crimson Scorpion with the FO blade. I think it's my first time seeing one with an orange blade and it looks really mean and ready for battle!  Have a point.

Lol.  Emperors Hand(Diamond) for me, Dark War Glaive(Diamond) for my youngest Son. And the second order was Spectre(Diamond) for me,  I couldn't decide which one I wanted. And then stands and Ultra Heavy blades for the free sabers, so they can all be used for dueling.

Wow, Therion!  2 of my favorite looking sabers!   I had to make my choice between The Emperor's Hand, Electrum Wind, and the Crimson Scorpion.  And the Scorpion barely won!  All great sabers!
If I were to win the big prize in the raffle, I would ask for both the EH and EW!  

BTW:  What colors did you choose for the sabers?  I would have gone with DR on the EH, and VA on the EW.

I don't understand why we have to wait for eligible orders to ship until the end of the raffle. If you win something, then charge me for extra shipping, I don't care. If I had paid more attention and realized I would need to wait 10 days (or more) to get my order, just on the slim chance I'd win a prize, I would have opted out of the raffle.

Up to a certain point in time, US will ship your saber out before the raffle prizes are announced. I took advantage of a flash sale early on in the promotion, and I had my saber in a few days and if I win something, I'm good with paying postage.

I've been enjoying my Dark Prophecy and it's helped take the edge off the anticipation of the raffle.

It was about 1.5 weeks into the promo when I placed my order.

Yep, first come first serve. If you order late like me, expect some more time for them to get it out to you since there’lol be quite a bit of orders before you.  The wait’s part of the fun, in my opinion

I wish they'd said so (or said so more clearly somewhere?  If the information is out there, I missed it), but overall I don't mind too bad.  Luckily I didn't need the saber by a certain date or anything.

It's in the bottom of the description of the raffle. It says that if you win a prize it will ship together with your order. Didn't notice until after I'd contacted customer service about it though.  At least they responded super quickly.

You should've been around for the last holiday season rush, coupled with a very bad winter season made the wait somewhat agonizing to some.

The weather affected everyone, way beyond the control of US, and that crazy demand for product. I recall someone mentioning a three to four foot stack of orders just for mystery boxes. It was a crazy time...

But things have been so amazingly smooth as of late. My last two orders came to me within DAYS and that is awesome.

But, late to the raffle, the longer the wait. So glad I pulled the trigger when I did.

I'm just excited that I'll finally have my light Sabers.  I think it would be great to win something,  but I'm not planning on it. 

I’ve been lucky in that I got my Sabers immediately. I was lucky I because I hit on it immediately so there may not have been as many orders processed, so that may be it.

I ordered on 7/31 and got my order last week.  I'm pretty sure I'm still in the raffle.  I guess it makes more sense if you are closer to the raffle time to wait to make it one shipment?

Luckily I'm getting mine for next summer's convention season (Origins, Gen Con, that sort of thing).  I mean, I'll use it for Halloween and stuff before then, I'm sure, but I don't have any special plans for it for a good, uh, 11 months or so.  :D  So I'm in the clear.
