Nice, a Grab Bag on my first raffle entry! Big thanks to US for their incredible generosity in putting on offers like this. Do they have higher end hilts in the grab bag sabers, like the Emperors Hand?!?  That would be awesome!  Although I would be totally happy with an Initiate LE or an Aeon LE!

I'm super jazzed 'cause now I've got a Mystery Box (that I'd already ordered) AND a Grab Bag coming my way.  I can't wait to see what sabers the Force has planned for me to discover!  :D 

Also, props to US, they just let me go in and add a coupler to my order (since I'm getting some random sabers, I figure I might as well also be able to have fun and try to make a double-blade out of them, right?).  Their customer service was great, and I really appreciate it!

I reached out to Customer Support, and Zeta told me that Grab Bags were primarily lower end hilts with small upgrades.  However, she did say that there was a POSSIBILITY of getting a higher end stunt hilt in a grab bag.  It is just not very likely.

Either way, that works for me!  I really like some of the lower end hilts like the Aeon and the Initiate.

Thank you Ultra Sabers!  I checked the winners list this morning and saw that I was a third place winner!  I'm super excited!  I honestly didn't even know that these high-quality lightsabers even existed until about a month ago.  I decided one of these would be a great prize for an upcoming tradeshow where my company will be exhibiting.  So that was my first purchase.  I also ordered a grab bag unit for my nephew, who is a Star Wars fan, but also really wasn't aware of these amazing devices.  So two orders, but none for me...until today.  Thanks Ultra Sabers!

I am so happy to have won my first raffle. I have a question about third prize. It is a random hilt with a LI-Ion setup. The Li-Ion set ups are usually reserved for the obsidian soundboard. Does this mean my random saber will have sound? I'm happy either way, just curious!

I saw Layana and Scifidud up there w/ infinity. nice to see a few names I know.

Whoa, this was my first order with Ultra Sabers after what felt like weeks of browsing online and trying to determine the best place to make what, to me at least, is a substantial purchase. I finally decided to order while it was during the Summer Raffle and originally had ordered 2 mystery saber boxes (One $75 and one $200). Upon finding that I would be waiting until the raffle ended for my order to ship, I had a few days of thinking that drove me crazy and made me decide to build my own. Thankfully the customer service here is amazing and Marlena got my first order cancelled and was able to assist me with processing the second order. I was substantially more excited knowing what I would have coming since I decided to splurge for the Diamond controller. And to top that all off, I somehow won 3rd prize when I never win anything, so now I still get some mystery to my order!

Thanks so much Ultra Sabers for your awesome products and your awesome customer service. You've definitely got me as a future customer, and congratulations to all of the other winners as well!

No, it will be a stunt saber with Li-Ion batteries. If you look at the ordering pages, under stunt setup, you still have the option of paying to have either Li-Ion batteries with a resistor or a buck puck. The one I received in the early 2017 Winter Raffle was a stunt Dominix LE V4 in Guardian Blue with Li-Ions and a resistor. :)

Hi... I'll put this in perspective for you.  This is my 10th raffle.  I won a 4th place Aeon v3 stunt saber on my 4th try.  ;)

Was I temporarily disappointed... heck yes... but am eagerly awaiting my saber parcel likely next week.  :D

No... you will have the bonus benefit of the Li-Ion batteries.  What I'm not sure about is if it comes with a charger.  Most likely you will have to purchase one or get either a Li-Ion or universal battery charger from Amazon or elsewhere.  Just don't use a regular alkaline NiMH charger.  :)

Luckily my entry saber is a diamond with lithium ion setup so I’ll already have one!

Hi.  Yes any stunt saber can be upgraded to sound.  It is quite costly to completely gut a saber if the saber is using x4 AAA batteries and you want to upgrade to an Obsidian V3 or v4 soundboard.  You have to factor in shipping both ways, cost of board/supplies and cost of labor.  Unless it is a higher end saber it likely is not worth it.

With the LITE sound option that only takes alkaline batteries... it might be more cost effective.  You would need to contact  customerservice@ultrasabers.com  to get the price range.  Stunts are valuable to have for many reasons and most will have at least a few in their collection.  

The winning 3rd place stunt saber will have the Li-Ion battery set up so that would be less costly to add sound.  

All sabers come with a blade.  You won't know which one or the length for your raffle win.  Both blade weights (MG/HG), lengths (24-36") and film colors (silver/white) are useful... again for multiple reasons.  Rarely can have too many blades or Li-Ion batteries.  :)

Well said. Even if one doesn't win a saber in the raffle, there is still a saber to be had in the form of the entry order. After all, it's not like the raffle entry costs anything. You simply place an order with a code that may include a bonus. So, there's really no losing when it comes to raffles, you still get what you pay for.

Personally, this is only my 3rd raffle, I've had to watch a lot of them from the sidelines due to not being able to afford an entry.

So very true. I really had to scrape up the funds to get into the raffle, which I did, but with the flash sale, I got a Prophecy like I've always wanted since forever, and an upgrade to v4 sound all within my budget.


Although I do wish I won a prize, I did win in the sense I now have a really bad ass saber that has sound finally.

Not a bad price, that's about what you pay for a V4 upgrade on a lot of hilts in the store.

Marlena is awesome, she is helping me upgrade my 4th place to obs-lite and VA. I am not sure how but I missed the comments thing when I was paying for the upgrade, I just hope it is not to hard for her to fix it. Don't even know what the hilt will be which is kind of exciting.

I had no idea that it was possible to upgrade a saber won in a raffle. What a revelation!

So...I went to email in to US about adding some upgrades, and what happens in the middle of my email? I get a message from US saying my sabers have shipped! I haven't been this excited and crushed in the same moment in a long time! Oh well, if I ever win another raffle prize, I'll be sure to throw some upgrades into it. Next week is going to be great when they arrive. Hopefully I don't distract too many people in my office when I'm running around with them!

How is the raffle decided ?

Just asking as this was my first purchase and it coincided with the raffle.

Not complaining as I bought an Archon V2.1 with V4 sound and my wife an Intiate V4 with sound and windows.

The free Initaite was a plain V4 to which I also added sound.

The best part was that the mystery box was Prophecy V3.

I'm not sure how many winners of the raffle are outside of the U.S.A. but I do know that there are quite a few.

From what I know, once you enter the raffle, you get placed into a list and a computer randomly chooses the winners

My fourth place raffle prize came in the mail today!

It was an Aeon v4, with Artic Blue color, Windowed Emitter, and Silver A/V Button!  A $100 grab bag saber!  Woo Hoo!

What is coincidental is that I had almost this EXACT saber sitting in my WISHLIST!  Only difference is that I wanted Violet-Amethyst color, not Artic Blue.

But now that I have the Artic Blue, I like this color for the saber best!  I have to wonder if Emory and Team look at our wish lists when picking prizes?

Thanks to Emory and Ultrasabers for a great prize!  This will now be my daily saber for spinning exercises, and my Crimson Scorpion will be for special occasions!

Got my sabers yesterday. I definitely wasn't very productive at the office afterwards!

My order was a Malice Tri-Cree BR (small claws) with XL blade and 3rd prize raffle saber was an Aeon v3 BR. I'm super-excited for both! The Malice will be the cornerstone of my Malgus cosplay I'm building for Calgary Expo next spring.

Liberator v3 in GB (3rd Place Raffle winner, went on to add a V4 soundboard and AV switch post win Thanks UltraSabers!!!)
Specter Emerald w/ v4 Sound (the only one I actually paid for)
Scorpion Emerald w/ v4 Sound (a friend's saber who jumped in on the purchase with me)

All in all, for my first raffle, I feel like I came out like a king. Paid for one saber, ended up with four sabers!

I won a second prize in the raffle.
As my prize I received a Prophecy with Obsidian V4 sound in consular green with a covertec wheel  :o

The Dark Initiate LE V4 in VA makes a great pair with the Prophecy in CG, DarthD.  Congrats on them both, you'll love the Initiate, I have two a dark and a silver one, and I'm about to turn them into a staff soon.  Well balanced and beautiful saber.  Also, that Catalyst pommel is a nice touch, I may try that on my Initiates.

I have to say: that prophecy is very cool. Couldn't be happier with my prize.

Sidenote: it has the regular vented pommel and it is so loud it hurts my ears when I turn it on lol

Hi naeblis, I have mentioned this before to other members who use Imgur, unfortunately you are linking to the full gallery page and not the images themselves. If you use Windows you need to open your Imgur gallery post then hover your cursor over the picture and right click your mouse. Then from the drop down menu select "Open Link in another window". The image should then appear in another browser window but if you copy the address at the top of this new window and paste it into the insert Img tags of the forum message editor then the pictures should appear. To help out I can post your images for you.

That Consular definitely has my vote. Love it! The pulsing between AB and SRD (favorite colors of mine) is great. Only difference I would've made might be SY FoC instead of VA but it's beautiful nonetheless.

By the way, I realize it's the first time I see what you look like in real life.  ;D Looking good

Thank you, Nox!  The Consular has been my favorite saber since Episode 1 so once I found out that I can chose any sabers I wanted, that was my first choice.  I do like the AB and SRD pulse but I may set SRD as my primary color and have it pulse to AB instead.  I thought about SY but wanted a color that I normally don't have which is the VA. 

I'm trying to making videos now and that was my first video but other than that and a picture or two of me with my Initiate, not many people have seen me.   Thanks!

I chose the orange and added sound before it shipped.  Apparently, my wife has decided it is hers.    I don't know how much more (if anything) I plan to do with it. 

The Dark Initiate in FO looks mighty fine to me!  I know all about the wife taking over a saber, I got a Dark Apprentice from a mystery box pull and she laid her claim to it.  Will need to order a soundboard to install into it but she doesn't want to change the aesthetics of it so it'll be easy work for me, well her, she wants to learn how to solder and install the soundboard now. Have a point.

Nice!  I have a couple of friends who want to get together and have a building party.  It's been a while, but I used to do quite a bit of soldering - mainly circuit boards.  I have to get a new iron.  Then the fun begins.

I too will have to get 32" Blades for my staff (at about 5'11" it's a bit long for me with 36" Blade on each side).

You're welcome! Point back, yeah, I tried it with the 36" blades that they're just out of my comfort zone.

So....I would post a picture of my sabers, but...I broke it already. I believe it's a Dark Initiate, with a red blade - this was interesting, since most of my stuff is blue or white, so it stood out a bit, which was cool.  The problem was I discovered I could throw and catch it better than the others.

Better does not mean perfectly! Oh well.

Finally had a chance to get on here and show my prize!! Thank you UltraSabers!!! Another great addition to my collection!
