Title: Oh, how uncivilized.
Post by: cujoe_da_man on December 04, 2018, 08:55:51 PM
Woo!  Snagged this through Best Buy during Black Friday for the awesome price of $50 (originall $100)!  This thing is HUGE, even by Nerf standards.  It does shoot the new Rival rounds and comes with a 7 round clip.  The scope is non-functioning, but you can at least see through it.  I don't think a scope helped a Stormtrooper to shoot straight anyway...

The only downside is the priming handle is on the backside and you have to prime with your left hand.  This will be an issue for lefties.  This is also a bummer because the front grip is the perfect place for a pump-action primer, even though it wouldn't be show accurate, but it would have solved this issue immensely.

But!  I don't care!  It's a "real" firing Stormtrooper blaster and I love it!

The real question now is why is a Jedi buying a blaster?  Backup for my twi'lek slave girl... wait... I mean umm... nevermind.

That's really cool. I like that it fires the Rival rounds. How accurate is it? For $100 (sticker price) I hope it's more accurate than the ones that were sold at Walmart a few years ago were, they apparently weren't that accurate.

I've yet to actually fire it, busy with holiday work and all (the life of retail), but I imagine it'll be on par with most other Rival guns, the few I have seem to be pretty accurate, I mean as far as soft foam balls can be :P

Nope, no reference, just me being silly since Jedi aren't supposed to have slaves... right?  Hmm...
