The TNG finale is still, to this day, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest series finale of any tv programme ever in the history of television.Game of Thrones has recently finished and there are all those videos talking about how disappointing the finale was or talking about the most disappointing series finale of all time, they all showcase that on the whole, series finale of truly great tv shows typically suck. Maybe not right across the board, but unlike shows like Lost, The Sopranos, Dexter, True Blood etc, there were very few negative comments about it. I'll admit the same can't be said for the rest of that season 7, the show was really running on fumes at that point. But they managed to nail the landing. |
