tickets go on sale tomorrow....so let's start planning the meet ups!

I'll be there! Not getting tickets tomorrow because I just had to buy a plane ticket, but I'm planning on all 4 days.

4-Day Pass sold out in the 1st hour, but I'm not too concerned. Tickets will turn up later. Stupid Scalpers bought out and were reselling not even 3 hours after sales started. I think Saturday tickets are also sold out already

Saturday single tickets were sold out by around 1 here in the Mountain zone
So, I have tickets for, oddly, Friday and Sunday.
Room is booked as well

Locals snatched up the Saturday I'm guessing.

so glad my boss knows about the group. stopped at my station and asked if I scored my tickets.

There's a Saturday on auction on ebay right now and it's only at $88 currently, which isn't unreasonable.

I'm already plotting something for swag to hand out myself. maybe a patch or sticker.

We can trade then! I'll have several different trading cards finished by then :)

I might bring a mug or two for a big random. it'll have the group logo on it.

Fun! I know I'm going to have at least 6 different trading cards by then, likely more. It is 14 months away after all XD I might come up with something more fun too for special trades... hmmm.....

UPDATE: Friday tickets are now also sold out. Scalpers gone crazy this time through, though it looks as if ReedPop is seeking to remedy the situation. They've set up a site for official ticket resales for people who can no longer go.

What they need to do is require name registration for ticket sales. You can mass purchase, but you have to have the names of those you're buying tix for, and then IDs need to be shown at check in. Scalper problem solved.

That'll cause a mountain of other issues as well. I've been through an age verification process like that, it's not fun. They can technically reject you for any reason, I had to do mine about 7 times and it took hours just so I could order some vape juice for a friend's birthday. XD

They're actually the same exact process.... you need pictures of ID's and people holding them so they can prove that that person actually physically exists and it's not a mock up fake. The info they need is different but the process for submission is one and the same.

I think what Logos is saying is ID's are shown at the door.   You order 5 tickets...with names listed (kind of like a reservation)  and at the door someone is checking the names on the tickets against the ID's.

Yes... imagine getting up there and having to wait for them to pull it up on an ipad and then reject you because the pictures they approved have a bit too much glare and it wasn't ever brought up until now?

Why would they need advanced pictures of the ID?  Just names on a list checked against a presented ID should be sufficient.  Unless Celebration is a whole new level of Extra that I have never heard of when it comes to getting into a place.

You're overthinking it. We all thought security would be a bear in Chicago, but they had us pass sabers through the metal detector, then we stepped through. Quick pass with wands, to make sure all metal sources were visible (armor). And they have people hollering to have tix and IDs ready before you get to security. If done properly it takes all of 10s per person. (20 at most)

Not most that I've been too. Slow security causes riots. ;)

if Logos can pass thru security with his armor....I don't see anyone having an issue.

They're supposedly cracking down on scalpers this time. There's an official resale location for people who bought tickets and end up unable to go. I'm 78th in line for a 4 day, so pretty sure I'll get it at the regular price.
