Title: Charity Fundraiser
Post by: Darth Knox on June 29, 2019, 04:29:22 PM
I raised £200 for a men's mental health charity by cutting off my dreadlocks. I've been growing them for 14 years, so was kind of a big deal getting rid of them. However, this is the third time in 20 years I have cut them off. It'll be nice having shorter hair during the summer. Now begins the long process of growing them back

Congrats!  I no longer have the ability to do such a thing... as my dear mother keeps telling me, getting is not for sissies.

Please note that I always remind her that it beats the alternative, and we laugh.

Congratulations! I tell myself that I would like to grow my hair out but the climate here drains me just thinking about it! But that takes some dedication on your part and for a good cause too!

Great deal Knox! I keep my hair very short so would have me idea what cutting dreads off would be like.

The first time my step son had to have brain surgery (Epilepsy) I shaved my head off so he would be the only one with a shaved head. He loved it.
