Title: Greetings all.
Post by: Phox Aljoy on August 10, 2019, 06:10:54 PM
I recently purchased a mystery box and received a consular green Liberator V3, and as I always saw myself as more of a blue saber, I decided to get another go with the mystery box. It arrived today and as I was hoping i got the glacier blue War Glaive V3.

SO  my Liberator has flash on clash, and strobes when I press the button a second time.

The War Glaive is a single blue led that make makes clashing sounds.

And after watching all sorts of videos, are these customizable? What is the next steps most news do?

Thank you for your time, I look forward to your Jedi tutelage.

Welcome to the forum,  and congrats on the sabers. Both sabers are MHS compatible. That means you can swap emmitters and pommels on them if you want to.  There's lots of ways to modify them if you choose. Look over the  various forum topics for ideas.

Welcome Phox

Congrats on your mystery box purchases

So, as Malik stated above, the MHS system allows you to change the saber's physical look by swapping out pommels, emitters, etc...  Additionally, the Ultrasabers Launcher is a Windows/Mac compatible app that allows you to manipulate the light and sound settings of your saber, provided your saber is equipped with the Emerald LED driver and/or the Obsidian v3 or v4 sound board.  If you don't have a programmable LED driver, but opt for a quick disconnect connector in your build, you can swap out the LED unit with relative ease to change colors of your blade.

...at least, this is how I understand all of this, cuz I'm new as well :D

Mystery boxes are a great way to dive into the whole saber world, just to get a feel for the quality, etc...but if you're like me and want precisely what you want, definitely try a custom build when you can - very fun, very rewarding.
