We all have them. The sabers we long for, wish we had, plan and beg for. What are your top three sabers as of now.

If we're talking about sabers we DO NOT currently have,  then I'd say, I want: Renegade LE, Dark Shock and Dark Graflex.

My top 3 Chosen one SE Graflex SE and the Emperor's hand.

My top 3 in my wish list: The Graflex SE, Manticore CE & The Menace  (the menace is the hardest cant decide on the hilt color or go with the CE....love em all.)

The Grandmaster is definitely my next purchase, as I've already purchased the Butcher. That way I'll have Revan's saber and his descendant's saber. After that I suppose the dark dorinian and the emperor's hand are pretty sleek hilts. I can easily see myself spending thousands of dollars on these lightsabers.

As for mine, Gaurdian in nickle plate, Flamberge, and probably Belecose.

Y'all can laugh at my most wanted later.   :-)

For lil' ole me:

The Grandmaster LE x2 is already in my cart, along with all kinds of other goodies. Waiting for the time I can afford it before I push that checkout button.

For the other two... that's tough.

After the Grandmaster, I think I'm going to get the Savior.
After that, I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Brood Guard SE.

However, I'm really liking the Dorinian, but the Flamberge CE seems fun.

Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind by the time I get to those purchases.

My top 3 are the Dark Omen (would swap the emitter), Dorinian and Dark Prophecy. I had a regular Prophecy but moved it in a trade and I really miss having one.

Nevermind, the Savior is my next purchase because I just bought it! I wanted the complete Revan set I guess>

wonder if I being drawn to the dark side all my hilts are dark but for my Guardian will two my granddaughter hilt now pink she decided not to paint it but wrap it in a Faux Leather Fabric Holographic pink Vinyl

Wishlist for me is the Raven SS, Shock LE, and Dominix LEv4, all with emerald drivers.

If you can save just a little bit more cash, you should just get a diamond saber. The price difference is so small.

 These are sabers that I do Not have but want in my collection.
1) the Graphlex , V3 sound in AB
2) the Dorinian, V3 sound in CG
3) the Manticore, V3 sound in tri-AS

I think I need to check out a tri-Cree saber the next time I see US at a con... there sure is a lot of love for them.  I just have my heart set on a Diamond saber, and they don't play well with a tri-Cree setup.  Maybe the next saber after I get a Diamond...

Tri led allows the blade to be fully lit all the way to the tip. It also limits the color fade towards the tip

I was actually thinking of doing this with my wife, but I haven't gotten up the gumption (or the cash) yet.

My wife thought my sabers are cool but doesn't really care...so she said. But she's claimed my Lost Grey. Still thinks it's a bit to big for her. So....I'm planning on getting her a Prophecy. (she will be my apprentice..or she will be dealt with) slightly  evil laugh.

I am amending my list.

These are some nice wish lists. I love the fact that they cover the entire range of sabers, from budget to Oh my.

Can't comment because I have all the US lightsabers that were ever on my wishlist.

I'm just waiting on what designs Emory thinks of next.

Having been able to purchase the Dark Arbiter again in the fire orange with the premium sound this time I splurged for foc which I decide on silver so I have to revise my top three wish list the dark Graflex     with the premium sound silver blade, red foc silver switch lighting up white and chrome buttons and silver covertec I think it’ll be a striking contrast that lone ranger vib for me than the, Dark Omen, and the Dark Savior.

Have to revise my list as I know have the Dark Shock.  So... Renegade LE, Dark Graflex and the Crimson Savior.

Literally just have 3 sabers left on my wishlist so this topic is very fitting for me.

1. Second half of my Azure Menace in Diamond
2. Azure Domincide with V4 sound in AB with AS FOC
3. Azure Grandmaster with Lite sound SRD with AB FOC

Just today ordered an Fallen LE with diamond, so it never really made it from a wishlist to ordered.

But when I get the Fallen, I may add 2 of the emitters on my wish list, for my Dominicide.

I love how the lists' keep being updated. That's what it's about, they are never set in stone.

To start with this hobby and make a few of my students happy, I think I'll order these this month:

I chose an illuminated AV switch because LIGHTED, and white because with a Diamond card, I could be changing the blade color to any color under the sun, so there's no point trying to match a color, and white will coordinate with anything.  I chose the UEHG blade because I like the UE's appearance, and the HG part because I favor durability over brightness in this use case.  I went with the default battery setup with the recharge port and the 1.2A fast charger because the charging port would let me display them while ignited if I want to, and I already have several high-quality, feature-rich battery chargers that can handle a wide variety of NiMH and Li-Ion cells, and don't NEED more fancy chargers.  I have a couple extra blade plugs already (Thanks, UltraSabers, for giving them to me at the convention!), plus I have blade stock and supplies to make some custom ones.  I got the MicroUSB cable just in case the bazillion or so I have lying around are the cheap power-only variety.  I got the wrench because those tiny little things are SUPER-easy to lose, and the price is right to get a spare.  I got the Covertec clip (and the Covertec wheel, where it needs to be added) to give me the option of belt-carrying the saber.

Looks like you have all your bases covered Cyclops. Sounds like a fantastic bunch of sabers! Can't wait to see them in your collection.  As for me, I have come across a few saber options that make me want to question waiting for another raffle or going for it. I've found a couple of Renegade LE sabers in the private sale areas.  Neither is "exactly", what I wanted, but they are pretty close and I might be able to get one for a decent price. Should I do it, OR should I wait and get it the way I wanted, at a much higher price? What do you think forum?

The more I dabble in the used saber market, the more I like it. I think if you can move on from the configuration you've dreamed up for yourself and firmly visualize the used one as your own; then I think it can provide for the same experience. :)

Explain "combat version"

The Fallen emitter is available in two styles, Combat Ready, and Standard. Combat Ready has screws that are covered by the black strips, where the Standard emitter is held in place with pins.

I'm confused

Logos, I think the problem is the pinned "non-combat" version is susceptible to damage.  Not unlike the archon v3's thin neck.   The combat-ready version is more secure and has the additional guards which also cover the screws used to attach the emitter guards.

Which makes me wonder what that thing looks like without those guards...   LOL

I guess I'll just have to get them and find out.

Note: it won't fit on the hilt with the "wings" reversed, it's about 2 mm too tight to fit the Fallen hilt.

P.S. Note: The guards are held in place with hot glue. Once the bond shattered, they fall right off.

The guards over top of the screws?  The color-coordinated strips?  Those guards?

The thing is, in my case, this next saber purchase might be my last, depending on how much I use it.  The one I bought five years ago is essentially a dust collector, brought out on rare occasions to be ignited and swung about a tiny bit.  If that's all that happens with my next saber purchase, then there's really no point in me buying another saber.  If instead, as I hope, the next saber inspires me to actually USE it (and the first one), then I'll be more ready to consider buying a "nearly-there" saber in the used market.


See my reasoning above.  For you, already owning several sabers, and already committed to the purchasing of more, this might be a good way to go; if you bought it used, it might be easier to sell it later to get funds to buy a different saber later if you find it's not "close enough."  With my situation, I think I'd be much less likely to be willing to part with this next saber, at least for quite some time.

Correct. Those Guards. Only held in place by tight tolerances in machining and hot melt glue.

I'm not a fan of hot melt glue, so i'll probably re-attach them with adhesive tape so I can pull them off when I want to. .......................or something insane like clear heat shrink tubing.

Threads are larger than 8/32, but the allen wrench to remove them is 5/64. I don't have my measuring tools here atm, so I don't know the exact sizes.

Thanks guys, I was pleased how this model turned out - getting that metallic texture to look like chrome was difficult. Though I have to say this has my full emitter not just the shrouds added. I might try and work on a few other US hybrids using these shrouds.

Y'know, once you know what the right size is on the screws, it would be a simple matter to acquire some that were, oh, a quarter-inch longer ... and some 1/4" rubber baffles...

Any of the nice hilts would benefit from the Diamond Controller. Just so much more flexibility with it.

It's only because Emerald isn't powerful enough to handle 3 MLS, and they won't do single mixed colors due to light mixing in the short blades, and how picky some buyers can be.

This was a good part of why I also chose Diamond, but I was also attracted by the linking of the sound and light effects to a single font, and to having only ONE physical interface point and ONE data cable to deal with.
