To those lost but never forgotten, those who died and those that suffer still,
The innocent, the brave; those affected directly and indirectly,
To those who would toil, endure, and sacrifice to make this world a better place,
We shall persevere in honor and remembrance, obligation and commitment,
Never shall we succumb to complacency, sloth, nor fear,
But always progress with hope, temperance, and love for one another.

May you and yours always be blessed, procure good karma, and achieve oneness.

Thank you MrMojoRisin72 for this^^

I remember sitting in 3rd period and suddenly, my Spanish teacher turns the news on in the room's TV and as I watch how the first tower was smoking from the first plane that struck only to watch a second plane fly into the second tower 45 minutes later.  Within hours, more than half of the students have been picked up by their parents.  My Senior year, I graduated early and enlisted into the Corps to fight those that killed our own people.  Not only did we lose people in 9/11, but I watched as those that served next to me lose their lives too. 9/11 means a lot more to me than most

And my wife and I thank you sincerely for your service, Infinit01.

I remember I was working graveyard before I had to go to school and was on my way to class when I heard it over the radio.  I just recall being shocked beyond measure.  Needless to say I was worried for my brother who was (and still is) in the Navy.  Thankfully, he's still OK.

You're welcome and thank you for your support.  I'm glad that your brother is okay when this all went down.

sadly I did not serve that is one of my big regrets in life.

I do feel as though I support our military daily, I manufacture the sonar that is used on US Submarines. Our shop was just awarded a 32 MIL 5 year contract, and right now we are 4 years into the last 20 MIL contract. needless to say we are very busy.

18 years ago. Thinking back on it, seems like it was just yesterday. I was already on the job for 10 years when it happened. Just stared at the TV in total disbelief, the more you watch the more you went between shedding tears to being the most angry you can be. Still very emotional.
