Your saber reminds me of my set of Blender 3D models I built based on the Astromech series droids. However as I was masking it off for painting with blue painters tape, it made more sense to invert some colors and use blue paint.

The gold on the Initiate V3 is US andoized LE coloring. The gold on the Aeon V4 is Testors gold acrylic. The other two are AB, but with only blue they darkened a bit in the photo. The quilt they're on is mainly blues as well. Notice how the blue blade in the center totally washed out the quilt details while the two AB's did not.
