Title: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: Deep on September 27, 2019, 06:43:42 AM
We are VERY excited to release this one to you guys!  Say Hello to The Fallen. (https://ultrasabers.com/product-tag/fallen/)

From top to bottom, The Fallen is packed with features we love, and we're THRILLED to be able to offer it at such an affordable price point for such an awesome saber.

The first thing you'll notice about The Fallen is its twin fins that flank the emitter, and stylishly cover the anodized rings that wrap it.  On the exposed sides of the emitter rest twin vertical windows that give the saber an AWESOME look when it's ignited.  The Fallen emitter is available in two styles, a Combat Ready, and Standard.  We HIGHLY recommend the Combat Ready emitter for those of you who might find your saber being fiercely impacted by your opponent's own heavy grade blade.

We've machined the hilt of The Fallen to have one of the most comfortable grips that we've ever added to one of our sabers, and anodized it to give it a solid look in each of our four standard colors.  The simple machining across the hilt gives The Fallen a fantastic feeling in the hand, and is perfect for single or two handed combat.  Each Fallen will come standard with an AV switch, and covertec wheel.  The covertec wheel will be anodized to match the color of the hilt and etching on the rest of your saber.

Finally, the pommel really sets off this saber.  The Fallen sports a totally new and unique pommel, and has been designed as a resonance chamber to amplify the volume on your Obsidian Soundboards, should you elect to equip one to your saber (which we obviously recommend).

The Fallen ships completely assembled and ready for combat out of the box.  The emitter and pommel are MHS (Modular Hilt System) Compatible, meaning that they are removable and interchangeable with any other MHS compatible parts on any other saber in your collection.  The emitter and pommel of The Fallen will be available individually.

The Fallen is available in four distinct finishes that appear across its emitter, the hilt, and the covertec wheel: the classic black and silver, our Azure Fallen comes anodized in our bold blue, the Crimson Fallen comes anodized in our menacing red, and the The Fallen LE is anodized in a brilliant gold for a truly regal look.

The Fallen is available here. Now. (https://ultrasabers.com/product-tag/fallen/)

FOUND IT!!!

This is the saber that I have been WAITING for!

Come next raffle, this beauty will be mine  ;D

Hmm...I wonder thought: what blade should I get?  Red?  BVA?  GB?

Either way: my hat's off to Ultrasabers for another fantastic design!!

I've already added an Azure Fallen to my Wish List, as a Diamond saber.  :D  (Did I beat you to the punch Edon BlueWolf?  Somehow, I doubt it.)

I looked, but the emitters and the pommel are not yet available on the site, so I couldn't add any of them to my WishList.  I am sure, however, that they will be added soon.

And to echo what Emory and a few others have said, I am very pleased at the price point for this saber.  I'm not sure how they are able to put this much work into a hilt and still charge the price they are charging.  (Of course, I am not familiar with the ins and outs of CNC machining, nor of industry assembly; the last time I was on a plant floor was in the previous century).

This saber will be mine. I may save up till the winter raffle,  and get myself another Diamond saber.

Getting it with Emerald or Diamond would help minimize the cost, or simplify the decision, by making the blade be any color you'd like.

Of course, you're still left with color choices for Emitter, A/V switch illumination, and Body, so you've got LOTS of options.

Looking forward to seeing others who buy these to see how they are in video reviews.

I still can't really afford sound though, kinda sucks but oh well x.x I might do LE in Bane's Heart, that's be a super cool color combo I think =]

I'm thinking LE with PO blade and Silver FOC. OR LE with GB blade and BR FOC. for the Grey Jedi in me.

The emitter and pommel of The Fallen will be available individually.

This gives me all kinds of ideas. I'll be looking forward to these being available.

The design on the Lightsaber is unique in it's own way. I'm not really should that if I end up getting it that I will duel with it often. On the bright side, it is a beautiful piece.

Hey Jas, if you don't duel much (kinda like me) you can get this saber at a slightly lower (better) price!

Based on the comments so far I'm guessing the answer is "no", but is this particular hilt design based off of any Star Wars character's saber?

Its based off of Cal Kestis' saber from the Upcoming video game Jedi: Fallen Order.

Like everyone else, I'm too broke to get this, for now. I will buy the Crimson one when I have cash. Thinking of getting it in Adegan Silver with quick disconnects so that I can change the colors. But am dying to get this. Like Malik said, maybe during a winter raffle.

I did not notice how broken my second sentence was when I wrote it because I just woke up when I wrote it. XD I meant to say, if I end up getting it, I'm not sure if I'd be dueling with it often. It's a pretty piece.  :o

This is a beautiful saber, guys. Unfortunately, my collecting came to a halt due to some health issues. Having a surgery in a couple of weeks. Not looking forward. Haven’t been around much because the temptation was becoming too great...LOL! But had to stop by when i saw this one just to say hello to everyone  :)

I'm with you on that. For "accuracy" to the source, the standard version is better, but I like the added detailing on the combat-ready version. I normally prefer plain and simple but those extra strips just add something to the look for me.

Do we know if the emitter and pommel is polished, i.e. mirrored? I'm curious because I might like to put these on a different saber. I'm a little reluctant to buy another saber.

Do we have an ETA for when the Fallen emitter and the Fallen pommel will be available for individual purchase on the appropriate pages?

I think getting a standard and weathering the crap out of it to give it that found relic look would be perfect.

I'm sure that if YOU did this, it would look really cool, but when I get a new saber, the LAST thing I want to do to it is alter its pristine, fresh-from-the-CNC appearance, especially if I have to trust my own "crafting" skills at damaging it to make it look good.

Yeah... the thought makes me shudder even now, when I have one of these on my WishList, and nowhere else.

Well, be warned.  1)  We will demand pictures, and 2)  We just might try to send you our own dueling emitters, begging for similar treatment.

More windows look better to me.  I realize there's a practical limit, but within that limit, you can get creative with size, shape, and placement to REALLY enhance the look of the emitter.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: chalion on October 02, 2019, 11:52:02 PM
It would have to wait till I can rebuild some monetary buffer before I can purchase one though. But, I'd have to think really hard when they put the emitters up for sale if they're a comfortable price to purchase.

I'm looking at my Archon v 3.1 and imagining the Fallen emitter on it.

......or even the Dominicide with 2 Fallen emitters on it.

I don't know which version I like best...the combat or the standard. Each of them looks great. I'm not going to have two of them.  Just glad I'm broke now so I have time to figure this out.

blew some of the group funds and ordered one w/ lite sound to mirror the one in the game..just dueling capable.
will be raffled off next month at a big con.

The main thing to remember is that the non-duel version's side fins are held on only by pins, since you can't duel with it.  The duelers' emitter has screws and the appropriate stripping on the side to hide the screws, personally I like the colored stripping as it adds character to it.  Also, by having the dueler one you know it will take any form of simple abuse.  The other, the non-duel, I am not sure how sturdy those pins really are, plus its just so plain.  Now these are just MY humble opinions.  Good luck on your choice!

Good point. And truth be told, I am going to do some light dueling with it ( how can I not). Besides, I think I like the strips on the emmittera little bit more. That's it. I'm going with the dueling version. Now, the big question,  will this be my second diamond saber?

I think it might become my FIRST... it's long, so seems best suited for two-handed use, but I'm REALLY impressed with its looks.  And if the (expected, hoped-for, but certainly not guaranteed) December/January sale/promo includes bonus gifts like the Halloween promo does right now, I could get this plus an Apprentice or Initiate quite easily.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen

LOVE IT! NEED 2 ALREADY! Would love to see it as a staff ... but the pommel is awesome in it's own right... the images from Kal's hilt hint at it being a staff... that's why I NEED 2 haha. Also, just to get a standard emitter and a dueling emitter simultaneously. I am also curious to know what the dueling emitter looks like without the strips, leaving the screws visible could add some character as well... any chance we can get a look at that?

I would love to get 2 with 32" blades (possibly 24") with a quick disconnect coupler in Arctic Blue and Sentinel Yellow; although, it would have to be Emerald regardless and of course with sound   ;D

If you're going to get Emerald with sound, why not get Diamond instead, for just a little bit more money, and have the sound and the light effects not only controlled by the same card, but actually linked together?

Speaking of that, how hard is it to master the diamond board.  I have this in the Dominicide and have yet to tinker with it.

If you know how to play with sound blending, i'm told it's fairly easy. I can't seem to get the knack of it myself.  We didn't have computer classes anywhere when I was growing up.

Same... I was 17 the first time I used a computer in 2000.  My school HAD computers but no computer classes so those of us who didn't have one at home were kind of lost.  I remember my 12th grade English Teacher wanted everyone to do a Power Point and only me and one other person had to tell her not only did we not have computers at home but had no idea what a "power point" was.  It always stayed with me how shocked she was.  We were allowed to do a written report. I digress.  I too don't like messing around too much with the sounds..too much room for error and I don't trust myself enough.

[...] I too don't like messing around too much with the sounds..too much room for error and I don't trust myself enough.

Here's a lesson that might help you alleviate some of the stress and worry.  Save early, and save often.  That habit alone will protect you not only from your own mistakes, but also from a vast array of computer glitches.  How do I know this? HARD-WON KNOWLEDGE from TOO MANY TIMES OF DOING IT WRONG.  Sometimes, I'm a slow learner, and I have to endure the same painful lesson more than once before I adapt to reality.

Uhhh... I think you misunderstood the traditional terms of the bargain.  It's not "naming rights to the first-born child," it's "I get your first-born child."  See Rumpelstiltskin as a quite famous reference, although there are many others.  And then, of course, what is done with the child is no longer your concern, so think VERY carefully before you make such a bargain-- once the deal is sealed, those who accept such terms tend to be QUITE fierce in enforcing the terms.

Standard fallen with blazing red. Such a slick design. Really impressive. When I can get funds I wanna get my wife the Fallen LE with consular green.

I received my Crimson Fallen today and LOVE it!!! Amazing! I got mine in the stunt configuration (no sound) and with quick disconnects. It came in Adegan Silver (I used some color discs to turn it yellow). Tried it in Fire Orange as well (equally amazing with the Crimson offsets). Still tweaking it but I will do my review video and post up soon!

Nice catch my friend! Yes I was ordering them by favorites. I started it yesterday and finalized my order. I am really loving the Crimson Fallen. That, my Grandmaster LE and Shock LE, are my faves out of my (ever growing) collection. But it is hard To choose at times as many of the ones I have are so great!

Do we have an ETA when the emitter and pommel will be available for separate order on the respective pages?  As of a few minutes ago, neither the Emitter page nor the Pommel page has a listing for the Fallen.

Fallen LE, Crimson Fallen and Azure Fallen all allow for combat versions. The Black Combat version of the Fallen is looking to be not available. Guess those screw covers are in short supply.

Just don't get the Azure one in combat-ready style... I don't want them to run out of that one before I order, and it's looking more and more like I'll be pushing up against the deadline (whatever it might be).  Group orders can be SUCH FUN!!!!

Cool!  The one you're using looks very nice.  Since you recommend the quick-release coupler, why is this one using the one that it is?  Does it look better with these sabers?  Is it because you have only two couplers, and the quick-release one is currently installed with your Menace(s)?

It doesn’t feel like I have to wear gloves. Plenty of sharp lines. The quick release is in fact on my menaces. It’s easy to screw the pommel on and then use the mechanism to unite the two sabers. Plus if someone wanted to use one saber, then you could just quick release. It’s really very straight forward.

Only problem I really have with the quick release coupler is the look of the one hilt with the pommel.  There's other ways to make a quick release, but not as simple or easy to use though.

I kinda agree with that.. but it’s also a great and easy way to determine the top and bottom sabers for choreographed or spinning when u included staff and dual  segments into ur spinning sessions or choreography

Hi Darth Nivek,

I believe the Fallen hilt is heavily inspired by Cal Kestis' lightsaber from the game...but Ultrasabers aren't the only people that were inspired by the saber...I made a 3D model of it myself in Blender 3D...

I just got a fallen and was looking for some insight from Saber experts. My blade goes in almost 4 inches. Which is fine until I try to use a blade plug, which is only 2 inches. It falls below the retention screw. I can kind of catch it and keep it so it’s secure but then the emitter rattled as there is a lot of distance between it and the bottom of the blade plug. I was wondering if this was on all fallen models or if mine was special/defective lol

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: Cyclops942 on December 29, 2019, 05:31:23 PM
That’s normal.  I made a custom blade plug from a spare blade and a spare tip, using a tube/pipe cutter and super glue.  I did the same for my Aeon LE v3, for the same reason.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: chalion on January 01, 2020, 07:03:15 PM
You can purchase some 1 inch outer diameter polycarbonate tube (not acrylic), usually listed in 36 inch length, from various online bulk sellers and the like to make your own blade plugs, or custom length blades, but additional parts would need to be located.

Can't specify by name though.

Also note: The Standard emitter for The Fallen (black edition) is out of stock, but the combat ready version is ok. Fallen LE, Azure and Crimson have both emitter options available.

That’s okay, the extra “WOW factor” the combat-ready version provides, let alone the fact that the shrouds are held on by screws rather than just pins makes that WELL worth the money in my book.  But, then, it’s my money, so your mileage may vary.

You are not alone in eagerly awaiting the stand-alone sale of the emitters and the pommels.  Something tells me it won’t happen until AT LEAST they catch up from the Christmas-time sale, and maybe not until after the Winter Raffle... simply too much demand for that LOVELY, LOVELY saber design.

I did, and I still say you’re braver than I am.

Back to the Fallen.  Isn’t that knurling on the grip just FANTASTIC for providing the right amount of friction to hold on, without being so aggressive as to become abrasive? SO well done!  I’ll be making a custom (but very simple) blade plug from a spare blade and a pointed tip, so that I can actually carry the saber on my belt, using the Covertec wheel.  The standard blade plugs aren’t nearly long enough to properly fit in the nice, deep emitter of the Fallen series, and I want the pointed tip of mine to extend a little bit past the ends of the emitter shrouds, just for looks, and to be able to show off more of the blade when it’s ignited.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: Darth Nivek on January 03, 2020, 08:52:31 PM
Yeah, just the grip alone sells it for me. Not to mention it's got great weight to the hilt that seems to balance extremely well with heavy grade blades (that's all I use) and simply looks F'ing sick! I'll definitely be doing a review video when I get around to it.
Also, I'm fairly new to this community and it's already turned out to be alot of fun.... Lighsaber addiction is setting in quickly.

I have a plan that requires a standalone emitter, and shipping to New Zealand means I'd rather wait before I place my order. So I'm also super excited - but somewhat glad I'm getting the opportunity to see/hear the reactions of others to the Fallen before getting my own. Glad to hear it's as good as it looks!

There is a combat version which is held in place by a screw versus the non-combat version that is pressed into the emitter.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: chalion on January 06, 2020, 01:32:41 AM
I've taken my combat version of the Fallen LE emitter apart and they're quite snug when everything is tight, but the covers are also aluminum held in place with hot melt glue. I would think that the covers would be better off with the screws thru them to hold them in place instead, but that would require that they be visible instead of hidden under the covers, so to speak.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: Malik Thanewulf on January 06, 2020, 07:17:40 PM
So I'm thinking I want the Standard version. Sounds like the combat version falls apart anyway. I don't do a lot of dueling anyway.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: chalion on January 06, 2020, 09:57:09 PM
Actually, UltraSabers combat version is a lot sturdier when compared to other builders versions. Of course, I feel more comfortable being able to tear down a UltraSaber emitter from a hilt purchased from them, then say, one of the other builders hilts that cost insanely more money and take usually months longer to build and ship.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: Malik Thanewulf on January 06, 2020, 11:23:10 PM
So,  For those of you that have the fallen, what would you say is the overall verdict? If I get a fallen with the standard emmitter, I should be OK? I won't have to worry about it falling apart? As for the combat version, are pieces falling off of that version that are supposed to be secure with a screw as opposed to a pin?

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: WhiNo the Ghost on January 07, 2020, 01:48:09 AM
Never duelled, but have handled the crap out of my fallen combat emitter and everything is tight as hell. Can’t imagine it falling apart by any means. Never handled a standard issue for comparison, and haven’t gone through duels with it, but seems quite sturdy to me.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: chalion on January 07, 2020, 03:00:15 AM
Note: My combat version did not "fall apart". I took a hammer and rubber tipped chisel to mine to get the screw covers off and then took the screws out to remove the shroud "fins". (yes, I voided the warranty, and am not afraid to admit it). The only "loose" parts, are the screw covers because I don't have a hot melt glue gun available and don't plan on using any glue because I want access to maybe modify the emitter to bring the shroud "fins" closer to the emitter body, plus maybe alter the screw covers.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: Cyclops942 on January 07, 2020, 04:05:24 PM
I have a Combat-Ready emitter, and although I have not dueled with it, the shrouds are quite tight and firm, and the colored strips have shown zero signs of motion, no matter how much I have monkeyed with it.

Challion, I will probably be doing some mod work on mine in the near future.   If you could PM me any details you have on best practice to get that screw cover off I would appreciate it.   Also, what size are the screws?  Are they 8/32 or something else?  I think I saw it somewhere else but I can't find it now.

Title: Re: New Saber: The Fallen
Post by: chalion on January 07, 2020, 10:11:59 PM
Screws are a thread size down from 8/32, but not metric. If you have a War Glaive emitter, the screws that hold the claws on are an EXACT match, except that they are button head instead of recessed head.

I went by trial and error (mostly error) on removing  the screw covers, but I would suspect, that using a heat gun or hairdryer to loosen the hot melt glue the gently use a non-metal implement to gently prize off the center covers. The covers, shroud and blade holder center are all aluminum, so being as gentle as possible is the key. My blunt force method basically shattered the glue bonds and did scuff up the top of the emitter and bent the first screw cover.

Gentle... so, not a good idea to use a MAPP torch as the heat source?   ;D

Trying to soften the aluminum instead of the hot melt glue, are we?

Yes i have placed my order after much contemplation!! Sentinel yellow blade, yellow paint on hilt, yellow av switch. Dark Jedi style. All the bells and whistles. I will post after it has arrived with a bit of a review. US rules.

That isn’t yellow paint; that’s anodizing, which is (simply put) a special protective oxide coating on the aluminum.  It’s applied by electrolysis, so it forms a chemical bond with the aluminum.  You can think of it as super-special aluminum (or aluminium, for the non-US folks) rust, if you like.  It’s far more durable than paint, although even mil-spec level III anodizing (which this is not, judging by the brightness of the colors achieved) can and will be worn off over time.

Definitely a great looking saber. This is on my wish list. I don't really care for the anodized colors on any saber, I am more of a Black/Silver saber guy....but on this model, I just might make an exception. Right now I am waiting on my first saber, the Dark Initiate LE V5 with the Guardian Blue blade and Obsidian soundboard. I am getting ready to order the Emperor's Hand with the Obsidian Soundboard and the Blue Violet Amethyst blade. several sabers are on my wish list including the new Fallen

Skywalker, the Emperor's Hand is awesome. One of my favorites. It is my only diamond saber. You're going to love it. If I  get the Crimson Fallen,  do I go SRD with silver FOC or PO with silver FOC? Or should I just get the black Fallen with emerald driver?

All really depends on what you want vs what you can afford. I would say, price out each version you're thinking of and see how much of an "ouch" factor you get. If it's too painful to go Emerald, then back off a bit, or just wait till you can save up more.

If it was my choice, i'd go Diamond for all the extra utility, but that's me. I already have a combat version Fallen LE w/Diamond and am waiting on another combat version Fallen (black) w/Diamond purchased during this Winter Raffle. 10% off + free shipping also helps out.

I have one diamond saber and I barely know how to use it. To many options. I think the emerald driver is about all I can handle. I do like being able to change the colors. I may grab an emerald saber for the raffle.

My son finally got his Fallen lightsaber!  We're both very impressed with it.  US Fallen LE, stunt, silver blade ... saweeet!  Yes it's long, but ever since a friend brought up the point about the US Saviour being to scale as compared to the comics and games alike,  this makes total sense.  The knurled grip is certainly a standout feature - the best way to describe it is that it grabs your hand right back, it's quite something.  Great detail yet so ergonomic, this is a nice effort by US imo.

Thank you, gentlemen! We've duelled several times already. Although my son is "only" 12, unfortunately for me he's a very proficient swordsman so it's always a challenge :)

What color is the blade? I have a hard time differentiating between the yellow and fire orange sometimes.

The blade is Adegan Silver, it's very striking off of the gold finish.

Don't know about anyone else, but when I ordered mine, the combat ready emitter was the only option available.   Wonder if they ran out of the standard version.

Fine by me; I love the combat ready look.  Adds that extra flair, IMO.

I only had the option of the combat emitter also, I ordered a diamond controller and didn’t know if it defaulted to the combat ready version for the diamond. But yes. I couldn’t get the standard.   Same with you, I prefer the combat ready

When I ordered in May, I had the option for both, but that's gone now.  I also went for CR.  It seems like most people that are posting are going with the CR emitter.  I wonder if they are discontinuing the "standard" emitter for lack of interest?  Why make both, if most people are going for one?  Maybe?

Thanks for the info fellas. Really wish we would all have been notified as well. I ordered my Fallen June 5th: black my first Diamond saber w/sound plus a few saber parts for my pair of Guardians (screwed up the speaker on one and the wiring on another) they were my first US sabers and poked around a little too hard a few months ago. Also qualified for a free initiate and grab bag sabers. I wonder if they will choose higher end free sabers since it is taking so long haha wishful thinking. As disheartening as it is seeing pictures and reviews just makes me want it more and scouring the forum for pics is my way of patiently waiting it out. Already working on budgeting for a Crimson Fallen to complete a staff (have a quick release coupler but want a vented flush for this one). Also chose a 32” blade to see if it’s short enough for a staff but may shorten a pair of 36” blades between 28”-30” depending on how this one turns out. Thanks for “listening”!

Likewise I kinda hope they would go for the higher end sabers for the free initiate and grab bags and mystery boxes to compensate for the lack of communication (more than the delays about which they can't do much)... But yeah, I doubt it will happen =)

Same thought crossed my mind...problem is, I'm not a big fan of the colored hilts.  Not just the Fallen, I mean any of the models. So I'll probably just be a stubborn sod and hold out for the black & chrome model.

Then again, I've changed my mind before, LOL...

That's what I did - I kept the black because I like it a lot more.  I tried to get them to ship some of the other sabers sooner and wait for the big one, but they don't want to ship the free ones first... I understand their thinking.

+1 to this suggestion (but not to Darth Rage... that’d be a -1, but I already did that today, so... maybe tomorrow)!

Always include the order number in the email subject line, just as a rule of thumb, and the further LEFT, the better.  Including the request can’t hurt, either.

I had ordered the fallen.  I did hear back from US customer service about my order and that the black version was running a much longer lead time.  I was able to switch to the Crimson Fallen and it arrived yesterday.  IT is STUNNING.
So large yet so light and agile. It’s a sleek beast.

I might end up getting a 40 inch blade for mine to complement the long hilt, given how big the emitter is...it might take the larger blade quite nicely without losing too much of its handling.  Maybe.  We'll see.  I'll give the 36 inch some use and see how that feels.

If you do get the 40” blade, I want to see pictures.  It’s already longer than I currently feel comfortable with at a 36” blade (which, of course, should be fixed by more practice), but I’d like to see it with a longer one.

If I do, I'll definitely give a report, but it won't be until after I give the standard 36 inch some use.

SHEESH....I may have to order a shorter blade as the 36 seems really long for me!  But since I am using it in my classroom, it is a good 6 foot tool!

Anyone hear anything regarding their Fallen Order? I have not. I believe the last update we have is ...

I placed my order June 5th. If anyone is willing to share some news it would not go unappreciated. Thanks you!

I ordered my Fallen on June 19th.  Still haven't received it or any word on it.  I ordered the black one which is probably the same one that everyone wants.

Indeed. Some were told they could swap it for the crimson or azure one to get their order faster as those were in stock.
They are still catching up on the orders.

Hey Everyone! I finally heard back from the US CS team and my Fallen is shipping today with an estimated delivery date of this Saturday!

Logistics: I placed my order on June 5th so hopefully those that placed their orders around that time should be hearing back soon.

I was given the option of keeping the black Fallen and switching to the Standard Emitter or going Crimson with Standard Emitter. I went Crimson! If I enjoy it as much as I think I will I'll order a black one during the next raffle. I was offered a $10 credit for the change and will order a Combat Ready emitter when things calm down a bit and they become available.

I cant wait to see what initiate and grabbag sabers I got with the order! I'll post pics, of course, as soon as possible.

Thanks for helping keep me sane through this wait my fellow Jedi/Sith Lords/Ladies! May the Force be with you!

Leave it to FedEx to kick me while I'm down... now it won't be here until Wednesday. It got stuck in some FedEx hole in So Cal. Word is they screw things up at that hub all the time. At least its on its way, hope everyone gets theirs soon!

Same thing happened. This is very likely the only saber I will be buying, and so I want what I want. They were nice about it, but now I just hope I get it before Thanksgiving.

So it spent 36 hours in that fedex hole and got to Hayward (10 minutes away from me) Monday night... was scheduled for delivery Wednesday then Thursday then Friday! So Friday morning I called (4th time this week) and was told I could go pick it up in Hayward... drove there and it was all a lie. They could not find my package. Asked them to hold my package so I could pick it up this morning, just called and was given some BS that its on a truck to be delivered Monday (next business day) and there is nothing they can do about it. Which is BS because they know what truck its on and can go grab it and thats been the status since Tuesday so I don't believe them at all. This was the one thing I got myself all year and I havent worked since just after buying it and to be honest I could really use the money I spent on this for something else like food or rent and I'm just done with everything at this point

I can actually understand the continued marketing and coming out with 'fresh' sabers because from a business standpoint that is something you should always be on top of.
Although, my only pet peev is in the case that they are still flooded with orders and still have raffles, and the mass of orders from that seems to only add to it. Personally I've never had to wait over 60 days for a saber so I seem to be pretty lucky in that aspect.
Also don't be afraid to email them, theyr usually pretty responsive if you just send one once ever few days and keep it short and to the point.
Hope this maybe helps, be patient, it will come eventually.

FINALLY GOT MY ORDER!

Sorry for being a little bit of a downer the other day FedEx had me at wits end with their BS.

This saber is LEGEN-waitforit-DARY! Beautiful piece of work and I will be posting photos in a bit. Like everyone says its surprisingly light and with a 32" blade exceptionally balanced. It's already my (almost favorite) saber, My guardian will remain #1 but my Fulcrum dropped to #3 jaja! I love how clean the standard emitter looks... will need a CR emitter though just to be safe so once its available ill use my points to get one. My first Diamond saber the ability too change "fonts" on the fly is awesome! Ill definitely be messing with that the next few days to get the colors I like the best in there.

My 2 free sabers were a pair of matching Initiate V3s with AV switches (Blazing Red and Fire Orange). I was a little disappointed that I got the same saber twice in the same order but they make a neat little staff, and with 24" blades make an even nicer quarter staff. The AV switch was the only perc as they run off AA batteries... gonna have to find a way to stop the battery pack from moving inside the hilt.

I hope you all get your orders soon! Pics on the way!

Also like the apprentices, I just don't really like the look of that male part of the coupler on the hilts....
But point for the great pictures. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the points guys! Light or dark accepted let the Force decide haha. I was messing around with pommels last night and the Fulcrum pommel not only gives it a more regal/finished look (think 2 handed great sword or even hand and a half bastard sword) but it also helps balance when using a heavier/longer blade. I got this one with a 32 inch heavy grade blade so the weight is noticeable. Its a subtle change visually but its almost dramatic how it changes the way it handles. Ill try and post a pic later today.

Just got my Fallen LE from FedEx today!  I went all out and got the top end Diamond controller, so I will be spending a whole lot of time playing with all the different settings.  I am already very happy with this bad boy.

Of course, I couldn't stop myself at just one.  I bought 2 other sabers in the same day (they arrived earlier because there was no shortage on parts).  The other two I just got with the standard sound.  One is a Spectre with the Sunrider's Destiny blade color which I just love.  The other is the Azure Mantis with the Orange blade color, because I didn't have an orange blade yet, and wanted something with a hilt that stood out as well, so why not get the complementary Blue-Orange combo?

Here's all 3 sabers I bought together:

I really wish i UltraSabers would sell me a Fallen empty hilt without holes in the grip.  I know i could make this work and keep the grip pristine if only i had a blank slate.
I am torn, i can get an empty hilt with recharge port (another friggin' hole) now or i can wait an unknown amount of time for what want.  I can do the wait - it just is the unknown that tears me up.

I don't think you can go wrong.  All of the Fallen designs look awesome!  I just went with LE specifically because I was going with the diamond saber and wanted something that would look perfect with any blade color that I switch to.

I think the standard black one would do that too, but I wanted one that had more of a light side appearance to it.

Got my Fallen LE today!  I only had a few moments to unbox it.  The Covertec wheel was missing (I sent off an email), but otherwise, it looks great.  I will hold off on pics until after I get the wheel.  I’m trying to figure out the battery pack, which appears to be wrapped in black tape. When I really have time to sit down with it, I’m sure it will make sense.

The Fallen and Azure Fallen that I ordered back in October both have the recharge port “lower” (closer to the pommel) than the activation switch, and diametrically opposed to it.  So either:
A) My Fallen and Azure Fallen sabers are not standard
B) This Fallen LE is not standard
C) The standard has changed over time
D) Some other possibility I’m not considering because of a lack of imagination, owing to a lack of sufficient coffee

Point! for finding a way to answer "i dont know" in a creative way ;-P

Seriously though, your answer does help - your description is what i was expecting to see - and it establishes that the standard is probably more flexible.
It is possible the specification is like "place the recharge port with at least X-inches from the outer edge of the switch hole and X-inches from the top/bottom..."

In any case, i think RyanKenobi got a limited edition luxury edition (LE LE, if i may) hilt if that is a recharge port.
My plan is to place an auxiliary switch in that spot, hence the deep interest. The information on hand is not reliable enough for me to proceed without direct confirmation.  plus i think the hole will be too large for my part (avoid making the obvious joke).

Yes, that is the recharge port above the grip, on the opposite side of the switch.
No idea if it's standard.  I went with the Fallen LE Diamond Saber with a recharge port and 1.2A Fast Charger (don't expect this to make a difference in where they place the port, but it is the better of the two).  I also got an illuminated AV Switch, which may or may not affect the placement just with how it might take up space on the inside of the hilt.
I'm not sure how to properly measure the size of the port hole, but putting a few socket wrenches up to it, I came out with a 4.5MM or 3/16IN wrench that seemed to fit about right.

I think you would have to remove the nut to measure the hole but what you have provided is enough. Point!
