A) Made sure my batteries had a good charge. B)Not all usb chords work. You need an actual USB 2.0 micro cable that is meant to hook up to computers and other devices. Charging chords DO NOT work. C)Connect the saber to your computer and turn it on BEFORE running the program. D) Run program as admin. E) This step is important. DISCONNECT then RECONNECT the saber. This takes two seconds. After I started this routine, my diamond program works perfectly. Good luck! Purchased a brand new cord of amazon 2 days ago. so thats good c. done and done d. that as well. e. that didnt help Now. my diamond boards work all day. This is a V3 obsidian with i think 28mb and one font at a time. Im unsure when it was produced so not sure if its pre 2008 for old software needs. You can try removing the batteries, then depress the switch to drain any capacitors and let it sit for a while then reconnect and try again.

You have done all the troubleshooting. My guess now is the programming. It may be a script error and your OS may not be able to fully recognize the software. Are all your port drivers updated? At least you still have a beautiful saber. I know there's a solution somewhere. I am open to try anything and i can retry again what i have done. the fonts not bad so thats fine and again i was not expecting sound when i purchased it.
