I got my sabers today! In the box were my entry (a Dark Catalyst in Tri Consular Green w/v4 sound) and my prize (a stunt Dark Standard Issue in Guardian Blue). They're both so amazing!

The first pic is just the hilts. So shiny!

And ignited in the dark. You can really see how much the tri-LED Catalyst overpowers the Standard Issue.

Overall I'm so happy with both of these. Honestly, the Standard is a hilt I never would have chosen on my own, but now that I have one I love it! It feels so solid and heavy. And it looks so nice next to my Catalyst. I have to imagine that was on purpose to some degree.

And just as I expected, the Catalyst is great for spinning. It's very light, and the thin choke makes it easy to spin fast (though I will say the Standard seems better balanced). I've only practiced with it a little, but I've already improved a lot. I'll post some videos once I master the Obi-Ani spin.

The only problem is now I have a collection. And I'm itching for some more fine additions. What I should do first is find a suitable display. I can't think of a much better place for these than to proudly display them on my wall.

Well, here they are!    Just a few basic shots for now.   :-)

My raffle entry was the Emperor's Hand, ObV4 sound, SRD with QD, and a recharge port.  I also got the black pommel, black screws in the hilt, and black AV switch in the angled activation box.  I like the contrasts, but there will be some ... modifications ... coming soon.   :)

And the prize: An Apprentice V4 with windows and an AV switch in Fire Orange!   A nice pull on the grab-bag, and the silver/orange combo with UE blade gave me an idea.   I think this hilt may be destined for a friend of mine who is a serious Tennessee Vols fan...   ;-)

Hi Guys a happy day today as my parcel arrived. I ordered on the 21st of April a Nickel plated Guardian hilt in Arctic blue with v4 sound, Silver flash. Also in the parcel was my 2nd prize in the raffle, I got an Apprentice V4 with windows plus AV switch with V3 sound in green. Im Ultra happy Ultrasabers, thank you. Neither of my blades are in SRD. I think my iPhone's camera kind of made the Consular Green look like SRD. I tried to use a filter to make the blade not look solid white like it does in a normal picture.


That said, I almost certainly will get an SRD blade for my next saber. (probably a stunt Aeon V3 w/a Catalyst pommel; something I can practice spinning with without worrying about dropping it and damaging a soundboard lol) Either that or Bane's Heart/Hot Pink. Haven't decided which of those I like best.

yeah, the blue and green together tend to blend the color into an SRD-esque glow.

Mine, on the other hand, IS SRD.  LOL   And in pictures they are very hard to tell apart.

I love your sabers, btw.   Nice start!   I have a Dark Cat as well, though it has an Adegan Silver LED and spends most of its time either yellow or pink, depending on whether I or my wife is using it.   These days it is usually pink as she has pretty much claimed it for her own.   :-)

How polished is the nickle plating finish? On the website it looks much smoother than the tool-face finish of the aluminum, but it's hard to tell.

My entry was the bottom saber, an Initiate LE V5, in SRD w/V3 sound, and is the first and only (so far) saber I have purchased.

The prize is the top saber, an Initiate LE V4 in FO.

I would not have chosen orange before, but I like it alot, and it pairs exceptionally well with SRD.

Very elegant weapons on display! I’m still waiting on mine and will post once I receive them. Exciting!

I'm super excited about this saber. I had it upgraded to Obsidian v4 with silver FoC and VA blade. What I am truly amazed at is the fact that it came with a recharge port and a covertec clip. All my sabers have recharge ports... I couldn't live without now...  So, I am incredibly lucky to get this feature on this raffle prize saber. Super lucky and stoked!

All in all, I'm just blown away by the generosity of Ultrasabers!!! To hold this raffle during these uncertain times is just fantastic. I also want to comment on the amazing customer service I had during ordering these sabers. Marlena helped me so much. While I was ordering I made a stupid mistake with my award points and she fixed it for so I could still use point towards my discount. She's the best!

Here's my beauties. My Spring Raffle 2020 entry was an Empress w/Diamond controller, Sentinel Yellow with pulse to Consular Green and Adegan silver FoC, to match the presale Empress so I could make it into a staff. Both with yellow illuminated silver AV switches.

My raffle win, for Emerald Prize, is a Menace CE w/Diamond, Blazing Red with FoC VA, Red illuminated silver AV switch, 2 red knurled screws and 1 silver knurled screw, with windowed emitter.

I requested, at extra cost, another Menace CE with the exact same specs as the prize, plus a nickel plated quick disconnect coupler. In my unboxing video thread, I do show both the Empress's and Menace CE both in dual saber staffs with the quick disconnects.

I am quite impressed with the Menace CE hilts. I thought they would have had more girth from the other hilts I have purchased from UltraSabers, but they are quite slim and are more comfortable to wield that I had thought from seeing all the screws and greebles on the hilts.

And also, Kudos to UltraSabers, because they were able to process my prize request IN TWO DAYS and have them delivered in 4 more days. I'm totally blown away by that.

Thanks for the assist! Just got in the Dark Catalyst and man it is comfy! May have to purchase a Catalyst next raffle so I can have 2 full staves. Cant wait for my Sentinel Yellow Initiate and really considering going all out diamond driver for either Catalyst or Spectre as I'd like to have training sabers with sound and options to turn off sound and then my main show case saber that I can fully customize. Like I said between Catalyst, Spectre and possibly Renegade because cross guard does sound very tempting. Though maybe I should slow down a little during this time. :P Like I said maybe next raffle.

Can't wait for the next raffle. Definitely going for either the Chosen One or the Graflex SE or the Bane as my entry. Maybe I'll get lucky again.  Absolutely love  love love my Crimson Scorpion! The Diamond Catalyst is pretty sweet too. Don't know if it's a top 10 saber for me though. Not heavy enough for me. Great for spinning, very smooth. Maybe it will grow on me.

And I might be biased but the Graflex SE is just a fantastic hilt!  One word of warning: it is not as ergonomic as many other hilts, BUT it's a classic design that looks amazing (plus: "legacy" saber provenance  ;))!  Anyhow, just my 2¢   :D

The pointed tip is actually an upgrade, because that one costs more than the rounded tip. 

It’s held on with super glue, so I would suppose that with some CAREFUL application of nail polish remover, you might be able to remove it.  Also, there are widespread reports of “enthusiastic” duelers sometimes losing tips during a duel, but I don’t think you can count on being able to find the tip if you use that method for removal, nor do I recommend this method if you want to keep the rest of your blade in pristine condition; although the blades are tough to break, they will scuff relatively easily; it’s just a feature of polycarbonate.

Another option is to order several Grab Bag blades from UltraSabers (which I typically do with every order that contains sabers) so that you can have an assortment of blades, and you can use some for dueling, some for construction of your own custom blade plugs, and still keep some looking picture-perfect for the occasions where the appearance is more important than performance.

How did the coupler work out on the Empresses (Empressis?)?  I wouldn't think the way the pommels are designed that it would work...

Quick question for 2channels emerald with sound winners, was it really 2 channel or was it 4?
