Title: Loose battery and flashlight questions
Post by: Jknight00 on May 23, 2020, 04:30:03 AM
Hey guys my name is John, I just bought my first Ultrasaber and it is absolutely amazing! I got a Bellicose saber with a Li-ion battery setup, ultra edge heavy grade, and the standard obsidian sound setup. When my lightsaber came I noticed the blade was pretty lose when it was in the handle and the batteries popout very easily; also the flashlight slides inside the handle. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this. I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to these things but I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks guys!

I use a strip of electrical tape around the base of the blade and a strip around the part where the screw is. Both tapes disappear in the hilt so you won't see them. One or two wrappings should give you a nice tight fit into the hilt and then just screw it tight (not over tighten).

For the batterypack, this is my humble sollution:

And if you look op General Malice on the forum, he and his wife created a lovely cradle for the batterypack.

What I did with my Bellicose as it has a blade holder that comes out is to extend the blade a little bit past the blade holder then secure the blade retention screws then insert it back in the shroud/emitter and that little extra push from the blade extending makes my LED nice and snug
