Dude, I love this review!  I think the dark catalyst pommel looks super fab on this, I have a regular catalyst pommel on my Aeon V3 LE.  It gives it a tiny bit more length and adds some much more to the aesthetics of the body's design, not just that flat pommel look that comes with it.  I really enjoyed the electrical tape effect on these, the white blew my mind.  The threads your connecting coupler look super sharp, so the machining is top notch as you stated.  Did you opt for the color disks to go with the AS color blade, in case you wanted colors down the road?  This staff is looking good and actually seems not long of a wait period either. Again, your video review was great and hopefully we will see more of you in the near future.  I also spend Way Way too much time here as well. Take care!

Electrical tape... you folks apparently don’t live in the Sonoran Desert, where daytime temps are (very) often over 110F.  My experience with electrical tape in this environment is that it doesn’t look good for long, especially when being held and twisted, like a saber hilt would be.

Thanks, I picked up some Lee filters and some color disks from Amazon. I have found Yellow, Orange and Pink to be the easiest colors to create.

Nope. I live in boring ol' Northeast Ohio.

That can be arranged.

Hi Batmike,

I liked the video, it makes a change to see a personality and a saber on screen. First off two non saber related (NSR) remarks: Wow! That is one heck of a nice collection in those cabinets and 2) Can I ask who Namtab is on your T-shirt? He looks familiar but I don't recognise the name ;D

But those sabers! Man they stand out. A friend of mine has a Reaper in Tri AS and I thought her photos were just the camera being off making them as bright as they looked but your video show just how good the LEDs are. And second, how did you think of stitching accent rings onto a saber? A wrap I can understand but accent rings?....that is next level genius!

Congrats and I hope there are a few more videos from your Batcave! (point awarded)

Yup.  Not even the desert.... I live in NJ and in the low 90's my E-tape saber wrap (I've since learned better) melted and left a nasty mess on my Initiate V2.

Thanks! I wanted something that would look nice and could be removed without damaging the hilt....and I was sitting on some white thread..boom..
