Hi everyone.

Finally got to ordering a ultrasaber lightsaber. been a few years but getting that first one. Should be pretty cool. I certainly chose a good hilt. The initiate v5.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you picked a winner. Of course we want to see pictures when it comes.

Hello, and welcome to the clubhouse.  No mouse-ears needed; that’s the OTHER clubhouse.  Sadly, that also means no autographed pictures of Cubby, Karen, Annette, Lisa, or Britney.

I'll be sure to provide a photo or two of the saber once it arrives.  I thought I would make a good start on my saber collection . Though all the sabers on that website look pretty high end.

Good choice, the Dark Initiate LE V3 is on my wish/to-do list. Likely two for a saber staff. It has such a clean look to it. Different Initiate versions were the first I looked at seriously considering purchasing. Just out of stock sadly, so must be widely popular.

Nice! I'm waiting on one myself. What internals did you get?  I just got a shipment of a handle full of aeons v2 for the kids. Very light and clean sabers if i say so myself. Came in super fast too so maybe not as popular as the v4s

Heck now I'm curious what blade color you chose, or if it's programmable? Maybe I should wait for pictures, but who likes surprises anyway. The question was originally for Col. Dale, but I guess it expands to SilverKing and the younglings as well... Everyone gets silver so no fighting, or each chose a blade color making it obvious/ based on personality? I just feel like that's one of the most fun initial aspects of lightsaber design.

Lol its all nieces and nephews. I just ordered my first sabers in June and the kids love playing with them so ive been subtlety asking them what colors they wanted. 2 of them blue, 2 of them purple and one pink. They just came in but they are Christmas presents. I bought different color leather straps too for wrapping the hilts since they all have the same hilt and a couple duplicate colors. I got a few my self. Im torn between yellow and sunriders. You?

And thanks infinite

Clever, that's how some great gifts are often planned. Sunriders looks unique and cool. I went with silver + color discs for my first one, kind of a test run. Mostly for training/ sparring and a "stunt" saber without sound. It's a saber staff, so one silver one red. But ideally I'd go with Blazing Red flash on clash Bane's Heart in dominant hand, Pyrestone Orange FOC Fire Orange (maybe Blazing Red) other hand.

Hey folks  Good to see all the replies, sorry for delay getting back here. Weeknights get hectic. Anyway I'll see about replying to the questions I saw.

On the electronics , for the v5 I went for emerald RGBW the obsidian premium soundboard (Always makes me thing of Cardassians from DS9 for some reason) I did also gor for 24" blade but will get a longer one later (I can always temporarily swap blad with a stunt saber in mean time. But that blade choice ws me struggling with these imperial measurements lol)

As for colour , thats silver. But will program in Viridian as my main colour for the saber once I get that figured out. A unique colour that fits me as I'm unique person lol.

I did also get a couple of mystery boxes, got those now. An initiate v4 and the prophecy v3 , both with windows and AV switches.

Good to know, sounds pretty cool. One tip if you're trying to convert back and forth from metric system: if on a computer use the Calculator tool. In my experience they tend to have a Unit Converter function, so you just have to set it to change inches into centimeters then type in the blade length you plan on ordering. I'd think it'd work the same way on most smart phones but I'm not as sure of that.

Wow, no joke. You're right, I blame lack of meaningful sleep. Mixed with stress, mistakes can be made. Good catch, I followed along and we both did it. Didn't mean to Dale. It'd be funny if it wasn't so disconcerting.

Hey Grundith, If you're interested in RP on the forum click the Home icon (White House) in the top left. Then scroll down most of the way to the Role Playing Forums, read up and ask your questions in "Role Playing Questions and Help- Get Started Here" section. I believe once you've spent enough time getting all your questions answered and figuring things out you MUST then go to the "RP Training and Probationary Section" before entering the actual RP sections and topics. Once you've been appropriately schooled and trained in the rules/staying in character, plus figuring out which sections are children sections and not. That sort of thing, but I'm not personally 100% sure on protocol since I have not participated there yet. Check those 2 areas out 1st in the right order and people should be able to guide you toward success. That's where I'm pretty sure the majority of the RP is happening/done on the Forum anyway. Best of luck enjoying that experience and building your character.

Hey Col, glad you got everything and threw up some photos too. I have trouble posting links a lot of the time depending on what I'm trying to do... so I noticed yours were broken when I tried to use them. After checking them out and dissecting them a bit I found the images. I reposted them via your quote right here, in a format that should me a usable hyperlink now. If you try it out, find that acceptable maybe this can help you a bit? Best tool I've found to make sure your own links work is the "preview" feature once you get the links ready to post, to verify they work properly. This might help you be successful in the future. Embedding a purely static picture is still not working out easily for me, but at least I could assist here. Jealous of your luck with getting those extra lightsabers, looking good. Soon I should have some pics of my own to post.

Thanks that certainly helped. easier than trying to put the right /img in the right place with the correct link cmd line. Crikey , not encountered anything so clunky and long winded since the days of DOS. But the tool you mentioned really makes things smoother.

I'm just a learner at the feet of For Tyeth in that regard, I was rusty and in no way an adept at accomplishing photo and video embedding when I got here. I suppose since I've had a good deal of constructive assistance I'm simply paying it forward to make the community better as a whole (if I can anyway). Had a cousin or 2 travel out your way, I admit even tough from the outside the "dangers of the environment" make it seem like a death trap it's still been added to my bucket list. Gotta be beautiful more often than not, or at the very least worth seeing. Sorry, I love the idea of travel; it enriches the soul to experience other cultures. Once things calm down it'll be worth it I suppose. Glad you enjoyed your purchase like I have.
