Hello, my name is Aka and I'm new here. I just bought myself, my roommate, and my girlfriend lightsabers and I figured I would hop in this forum and hope fully get more info of what to expect and talk sabers

Hello and welcome! What did you get for your group? Do post pictures. We love them =)

Oh, I'd love to answer that question, so I got:
For myself, a Sentinel LE v4 with a sentinel yellow blade
For my girlfriend an Aeon LE v2 with a sunriders destiny blade
And for my roommate an Apprentice LE v5 with a Bane's heart blade
 
Let me know what you think of my picks, and ill post pictures when I get them as I have no idea when they should be here, and if you would like to share any info on wait, or on care for our sabers I would really appreciate it

I'm more a V5 fan myself. So I totally approve of the apprentice LE V5. I got a dark sentinel LE V5 with sentinel yellow as a sound mystery box and I love it. Beautiful style and windows.
But the colors... My my. Good choice on the sentinel yellow! SRD blade is next on my list =D
I have mixed feelings about Bane's heart but hey, there's something for everyone =D

 I also have a Sentinel LE v4 in Sentinel yellow, this is a great saber so great choice.  ;D Great minds think alike. ;)  
You have made all good choices. Point to you for that!!  MTFBWY!

Those are some pretty good choices, I like them. I personally prefer a black hilt, or something in darker shades but as mentioned to each their own preference of lightsaber. BH and SD look great, and I'm sure will be stunning; although if you love yellow then good for you getting that SY blade! It's awesome that you either got them into SW too or have a gf & roommate who are of similar interests.

Gave you your first Light Side point predicated on the choice of lightsabers/blade colors. Also because you spread that lightsaber love around the household. So +1 for that.

Guess it's time for you all to decide individually if you want to get into saber spinning, cosplay outfits, training to actually use them in sparring or stage style combat, or just keep them around for display/mood lighting. Any options or all options work, because simply owning a lightsaber is it's own reward IMO. So yes, welcome to the fold, and I'm happy you might have people to train with (safely) since that makes it more enjoyable/beneficial in the long run. I suggest looking up videos on topics you're interested in to that effect, since youtube has many such instructional videos if you guys so desire. May the Force serve you well in your endeavors.

Welcome Aka. Those are some great sabers that you bought. My personal favorite saber is my Dark Apprentice, although the Aeon/Dominix hilts are amazing. I really want a Sentinel, but I'm not in a position to buy another saber at the moment.
