Title: Lithium Battery Options Post by: Darth Aethelmearc on April 04, 2021, 01:39:32 AM There are a lot of LC 14500 lithium batteries out there. From 3.2v to 3.9v, from 300mAh to 2500 (or more?). Many different chemistry options.
Are there any that need to be specifically avoided? Any that are insufficient to do the job? I got massively lucky with a mystery box a few years back and got an Emerald/Obsidian lithium setup and now my batteries can't keep the blade on for more than 10 minutes and usually less. So it's time to get new ones. Especially since the kids are getting sabers too, soon. Thoughts? Anything less than 800 is probably insufficient for the task. Make sure whatever you choose has onboard protection as US sabers do not.
