Post by: Jev Moldara on August 25, 2012, 07:40:48 PM
Neil Armstrong, renowned astronaut who first set foot on the Moon, has died at the age of 82.

May he rest in peace, called back to the stars which made him famous.

The world has truly lost a hero, and a pioneer of space exploration. RIP Neil.

I remember watching the moon landings (first one included), on TV.  For a space/sci-fi nut like me, it was pure exhilaration, the likes of which will likely not be equaled in my lifetime.

I console myself with the notion that perhaps Neil now knows things about the universe, that mankind will not know for untold eons.

So, do not "rest in peace", Neil, but rather continue the adventure forever!
