Hello, my name is Nilub Callat

I am 28 years old. I'm a personal trainer, nutritionist and paid nerdy lore YouTuber in my private life. I was recently diagnosed with a large mass in my abdomen that is both crushing and pushing on my vital organs. Despite years upon years of health and fitness based living I have found myself in a horrible spot. However, there have been a lot of silver linings where I have had emotional maturity breakthroughs in which I for the first time in my life have been humbled and forced to accept that I friends who I love. The comprehension of the words love, respect and friendship have been very hard for me through out my life and upon crying or breaking down after my first week in the hospital I finally overcame that barrier. I cried not because of the possibility of death, but the possibility of saying goodbye to a woman who I was not attracted to, but did love. Another breakthrough has been realizing that due to my job like many in the fitness industry I had become consumed by physical culture and the horrible body image issues that come with it.

The lightsaber represents a lot to me. With the advent of my emotional maturity I have ironically also gained a new found respect for my inner child's idea of the kind of man I was supposed to be (very much inspired by jedi). In addition I want to truly make fitness fun again for myself. In addition to my lightsaber exercises I will also have to do chin ups, squats and standing military press (obviously once i become more healthy/if I survive) BUT instead of my normal joint focused warm up I'd like to integrate the lightsaber (spinning, wrist curls, kendo form, fencing form and hammer wrist curls). Even though I've recently received an amazing bonus from my audience on the nerdy lore YouTuber side of things that would cover even the most expensive saber I still argued with myself for a while before making this account. This was to the point of writing both psychology and fitness based papers to myself weighing the pros and cons of owning a saber. However, I had another friend weigh in and ask me a very important question “will it make you happy”? The answer to which I can say is unequivocally “yes”! With that I am happy to start my account.

Long introduction over, I know nothing and am desperate for knowledge coming from any angle or side of the saber community! Thanks for reading and nice to meet you!
