Hello,

I am a student at university in London and am currently embarking on an electronics project whereby I have to create a practical prop that can be used in some kind of theatrical or practical manner. They allowed me to pursue building a lightsaber and before I start any of that I need to know where to start.

I've had to ask in this forum because although I've always obsessed over lightsabers since I first saw one, I have no idea how to construct one on my own. I am aware that I would have to buy a complete body or alternative single components but I am unsure of the internal components that I need to take into account.

If I were to decide on building a stunt saber with sound what internal components would I need?

Thank you for your help

Will
