My son pulled his battery pack out and one of the wires disconnected between the battery pack and the switch. I can solder it but unfortunately the wire from the switch is so short that I'd actually have to solder it inside the hilt. I suppose I could remove the switch? Not sure how actually. It's a black guarded switch. I can see it's a cold solder joint and the heat wrap was not tight.

I guess I'd expect warranty to cover this but I don't want to pay for shipping or wait.

Disregard. I found another topic instructing me how to remove the switch. Made a patch wire and everything works now. :-)
