Hi all, Been wanting to try and make a budget crystal chamber, and using a black vented coupler, my Archon 2.1, an old blade plug and oddly a green ear stretcher... and it worked    Unfortunately, the blade plug i had spare was pretty beaten up, so i've got some acrylic tube ordered and i'm planning to make another from fresh. This was just a test really... I used an old green ear stretcher, cut it up with a model knife to give it a slightly more crystal shape, then glued it slanted across each end of the blade plug (after taking the end cap out). I sorta messed up the glue, as my bottle decided it would leak everywhere and leave even more smudges on my plug... but better luck when i try it again i hope lol.  I'm going to experiment and see if i can find a neat way to have the crystal central in the plug without blocking any light. Have a few ideas, which if it works i'll post up. It was difficult to get a good focused picture of the crystal in the saber while on, because 1) my phone has a rubbish camera and 2) the blade plug being so scuffed wasn't helping matters! Nonetheless, my Archon in it's current glory   Hopefully i can improve on this, but it was a very quick and easy thing to do  Figured i'd share. Lev. |

Pretty sure its what people use to stretch the holes in their ears. Have you ever seen people with those giant holes for earrings? It doesn't get that way over night. Essentially its like a pilot hole. Thats my guess. Oh and that crystal looks badass! Point for you! |

Thanks all! and hahaha, yep an ear stretcher/taper is essentially a small plastic cone. Slowly put through an ear piercing to stretch the hole... not my best teenage decision in hindsight, but at least they make good lightsaber crystals now  |

It does a little bit, but I've got tri LED so the brightness is still fine imo |
