Agent Zero. No points

« on: June 12, 2016, 05:14:00 PM »

Good morning everyone.

This is to everyone waking up this morning and hearing the news of what transpired at the nightclub in Orlando. First off, whether religious or not, please send well wishes, thoughts, or for some of you, prayers to those killed, hurt, or affected by the act of terrorism, domestic or radicalism.

I am not a gay man. I have a sister who has recently came out as gay, my cousin is gay, my wife's cousin is gay. Does this mean anything? Not really. This is a tragedy, whether it happened to the LGBT community, a black, white, Hispanic, Asian, European, Indian, etc, community. It's sad that we, as a whole, have such hate and despise towards other people for their different ways of life, or what they stand for, believe in, or by the idiotic reason for the color of one's skin. I often times say, "why can't most people accept that we are all part of the human race?" I'm not the end all, be all, genius idealist, but in my opinion, it's not a crazy thought. Because we do not share the same thoughts is a great thing. I love that some think I'm crazy, that people say I'm silly, that coworkers say, "You're the only person I know that blah-blah-blah..." It makes me unique, and its something I appreciate in the different faces I come across.

I'd just like to close in saying that lets all be mindful of our surroundings, have plans. What would happen if we got into a situation of terrorism? How would we call? How would we react? How would we help? WOULD, we help? Be cautious, not judgemental, not discriminatory. You don't have to love, please don't hate, you don't even have to like, but be respectful of everyone, for whatever!! I totally don't sympathize or believe what terrorists stand for, but I just wish they'd keep their hate to themselves. Go punch a wall! Do anything else other than bring your hate to other people!

Let's all be safe, and don't be afraid to hug someone you love, like, care for. Love is not a bashful emotion. Show it, say it! Think about making it to your significant other!

One love, one human race

Point landed.
I also do prefer consciousness and awareness over ideologies and moralistic judgements.
The good thing is that it's not limited to the difficult moments of life but stands for every second we live. A matter of decision.

Sorry... Couldn't resist. A little levity helps out.

On a more serious note, that was a well worded bit of advice. You hit every point squarely on the head.
