Which first? Tunic or Robe?

Yeah the karate uniform works well, I have the Twin Roses tunic and it's pretty similar in design.  It is comfortable, though I didn't get the tabards and obi.  I've thought about making some of my own... gonna do it eventually.

They're affordable too. I was using a gee that I had from a few years ago.

It works well, it'll give you the Jedi look, and breathes well.

I tell you what, an all wool tunic will give you heat stroke. Not really but it gets hot.

I would also have to agree with getting/making the tunic first( I am down with the Gi idea, mostly because I have been training for years and have a few laying around).  The robes are pretty much everywhere. http://www.superherostuff.com/star-wars-robes.html (these ones you can wear all the time!  : )     But don't forget you accessories too.  (boots, belts, pouches...etc) some of these are hard to find or have to be custom made. (If you want screen accurate)

actually i met the guy that makes those.  he came into the comic shop trying to sell us some.

in the future i will definitely go for the tunic first.  as for the comic festival on the 5th i'll be rockin the ultrasabers with my ultrasabers "sexy" shirt.  maybe it will garner some new followers.
