I am interested in buying the Archon v3.1, is there any way I can get the normal movie switch on the hilt? Like the switch on the Force FX, or is the button my only option?

No. All Ultra Sabers come standard with a push-button switch, as shown in all of the website pics.

Knowing that I cant get the original switch, the reason I came looking here is because the Force FX isn't completely accurate.

Also, as I've explained to the uninitiated before, US specializes in combat sabers. And because of this form often takes a backseat to function. Plus from what I've seen of the saber market, you won't find better prices.

There are many canon sabers that IMO make no sense in their construction as far as far as comfort. This style of "activation box" is one such aspect that, to me, makes no sense. They are bulky, awkwardly placed, and uncomfortable.

However, I do understand that many fans have design preferences for favorite characters, and not all of them are practical to attempt in a combat saber form. But also that combat sabers aren't always the best fit for a cosplay.

FYI, there are people who have used other parts (like the accurate control box) to make their Archon more like the classic Luke ROTJ Hero hilt.  It's very possible for you to do so!

The Custom Saber Shop has boxes as well as clamps, which I think would give you an option for a more accurate Luke ROTJ styled hilt.  Take a look over there, and let us know if you need any other help!

Thing is that you can't order (for instance) an archon w/o a switch hole. Kinda sucks if you're gonna DIY a box/clamp cuz you'll have a big ugly hole in the grenade.

Other guys have far more accurate Rotj Luke "Hero" hilts. US with the v2 emitter is good for dueling though. I wouldn't duel with the v3 though.

You may buy the body and the switch box from TCSS, use the emitter and pommel from the Archon and swap the electronics from the Archon into the new saber. AFAIK the TCSS MHS system which is compatible with Ultrasabers is the MHS v1 system. But I recommend that you check it before ordering, because I'm not sure .
