I get that putting a lightsaber together could take time to receive.  But why does it take over 2 months for something like a stand to get to someone?  I could have made it by now!

Most likely they're following a "first in, first out" approach to handling the orders.   So you're stuck in queue.  :-/

Yeah all I have on order is a battery pack with a speaker, and an obsidian v4 board. No idea when it will ship, even though it's just components

I was notified via e-mail that one of my DIY parts orders, from the 5th of this month, had finished processing and was being shipped. Two weeks.  Ryan at US had told me awhile back that parts orders do have a similar lead time ("3-4 weeks", he said) as custom saber orders, but that they often get turned around faster.  I ordered a couple of momentary switches, a pommel, and a 36" blade for a spare.   Am hopeful now that a more recent order from the 11th will finish processing in the same speed, maybe have word on that one around the end of the month.
