Disassembling and Reassembling Stunt Saber

Hi everyone! I am looking to take out the guts of my saber in order to etch the hilt. However I know nothing about wiring/electrical tinkering. I have seen the wiring diagram of stunt sabers but I am looking for more of a step by step process for dissembling and reassembling a stunt saber. For some context I have a Aeon v3 stunt in consular green.

Any help is very appreciated!

Well in this vid an froummember named Firehand disassembles and reassembles a Bane saber.
Does alot of other things with the electronics and switches as well, but you'll get the general idea.
Especially since you have the wiring diagram allready.

It's basicly three cuts and then it's all loose.

Aeons are easy because the LED housing fits through. You just nee to get the switch out. Guarded are pressed in and pull out as in the video.  AV are glued in but the hot glue can be scraped off with a rigid tool and the switch lifted out. Then cut the wires from the switch. If using a new switch cut them close. If using the same switch cut them long enough to connect together again by just joining the wires. Once cut tuck the interior wires back in and remove the pommel. Push the LED assembly down and out of the bottom with the battery pack.

Reverse the process to reinstall.

The best way is to slide a piece of heat shrink over them. Twist them together then apply some solder. Slide the heat shrink up over the joint and heat it to apply the insulation.
