Got in my grab bag just the other day so here's review of what I got.

Dark Liberator v2
Once out of the box I could tell there was a difference between what I had already (SI v3, D v3) and what I was now holding.  The Liberator is light.  Very light.  I could spin this thing around all day long.  The anodizing on the body is really nicely done.  It makes the body very smooth to the touch.  The slightly concaved area in the middle really makes it easy to grip.  The difference in size with my Standard Issue v3 is noticeable.  It fits in my hands a little better making spinning a lot easier.  Since this is only a v2 and a Grab Bag at that, sound wasn't an option, but the Guardian Blue light it came with is fantastic.  You loose a little of the mystique of having the hum come from the saber and hearing the power up and down sounds, but it is still a fantastic little saber.

Had to give you a light side point for a Blue Lightsaber with a vented emitter.  Two of my favorite things.  I know that sound is great but sometimes it is better to not have it.  I love to spin my stunt sabers while my 8 month old daughter sleeps and it is nice not to wake the neighbors when you are outside at midnight. 

Glad that you got a Liberator though and that you like it.

I think its a popular Grab Bag. I got my grab bag as a Dark Liberator as well. They must have a lot of them laying around.

Might I suggest a MR 616/Joe Jedi board? Wink

I have a Libby v2, and I can say that this board will fit easily into the Libby. It will be tight and you'll need to plan very carefully, and probably switch to a rechargeable battery solution, but I think it can be done. I'm just waiting until I can afford an LED driver to squeeze in there, and then I'll still need an opened up pommel for the sound.
