I assembled a 616/Joe Jedi board with a speaker salvaged from a Dell PC (I wanted better quality than the stock MR one). The Cram-Fu required to fit this was amazing, but I did it, and it's amazing. I love this saber, it just became my baby.

Next on the list for it is going to be a recharge port (do you know how tiny this saber is inside???), and a custom drill out for the speaker. Right now, I didn't bother with putting the pommel on so I could have the sound come out for the video. This was a serious feat of Cram-Fu, and I think I just earned myself some stature, lol. Deep, sorry for all the questions I've been asking, but many of them have lead up to this creation. Thanks for putting up with me!

It's a 616 board with the Dell speaker, a 3.7V TrustFire for power, and a GB LED. Much like Turhamkey, I wanted to say thanks to everyone here, at TCSS, and Erv Plecter for his help as well. Standing on the shoulders of giants. I look forward to many more unbelievable sabers thanks to your help.

Well done!  I'm rather impressed you managed to cram that into a Liberator... from what I hear they're quite compact on the inside.

Master Nero, I am humbled by your praise! Thank you so very much! Yes, they are extremely tight (that's what... I said?), and I had to reverse the typical configuration - the battery is up near the switch, not by the speaker. Still, it's very well put together IMO, but looks very jumbled, just because of the situation.

I will start using the super cheap boards in grab bags and cheaper stunts in the future, but my nicer sabers are all going to be either Obsidian or Crystal Focus. I like CF for the number of accessories, to be sure.

Yeah, I'm in the process of working my way up now.  My current build is gonna have FX sound, but I plan to upgrade it down the road.  Hopefully US will be selling Obsidian boards separately by then...

Obsidians are nice, but the CF is starting to look very appealing to me, just for how much it can accomplish with all the spare ports on it and all that jazz. I'll order Obsidians when I want a quality board in prebuilt sabers and don't feel like doing the work myself. My next saber is going to be an Arbiter, probably Obsidian powered.
